Survivor 31

Jeremy, Stephen and Kimmi are controlling the game. It's JT, Stephen and Taj all over again, but without having to overturn a numbers deficit.

But Stephen's paranoia is going to get him voted out. I know he waited too long to get out JT and it cost him the game last time. But there's no way Jeremy would let Joe get to the end, and Jeremy is one of the few people who could probably beat Joe in a challenge. Stephen needs to shut his mouth, and let Jeremy order people around and get blood on his hands.

Spencer is in a Mike-type position. As in, when the numbers start to dwindle, he'll be an easy target. Spence is just lucky that he hasn't butchered his game the way Mike did.

Savage calling everybody a piece of shit was the first time I liked him all season. But before the episode was over I hated him again.

Spencer is annoying me like he did by the end of Cagayan.

This season was more entertaining when it was the Jeff and Abi show. It's boring to watch groups of 2 talking about who is aligned with who... over and over ... with every possible pair disscussing it.... then wasting time explaining how to split votes in case of an idol... zzz

During this ep I finally remembered why I originally disliked Kass so much. I love a villain but she doesn't own it.

That's a really good way of looking at the game which I hadn't thought of yet. I think the problem Stephen needs to realise is that while he sees Joe as the golden boy for the moment if it's Jeremy, Stephen and Kimmi in the end then Jeremy is winning.

Stephen is not going to beat a firefighter in the final tribal council. I don't put to much stock into the jobs people have being a factor but if it's a decision between Stephen and Jeremy for who gets a million dollars, well I think the firefighter thing becomes a factor. I'm sure Jeremy pulls the "I've got a child on the way" card and that may increase his odds even further.

It would be so funny if Stephen goes to the end with Jeremy and gets 0 votes once again. Not since that woman was voted out first both times she played have I wanted something so much.

I disagree about Stephen, I don't think he has any control of the game at all. He lacks a social game, and I think the only reason he hasn't been voted out yet is because early on his tribe never went to tribal council, and after the swap Bayon felt an urgency to stick together as best as possible.

Early on he was a complete outcast because of his awkwardness, and pissed off the likes of Kimmi, Jeremy, and Andrew specifically because he was obviously playing the game too hard, and got caught looking for an idol.

He has no control, he is just being used solely as a number right now. I don't think that's even the edit talking either. Kimmi on the other hand I haven't seen enough with her edit to tell, she probably has a lot of say with Jeremy and what the alliance decides to do, but I don't see her making it to the end.

Fishbach I'm predicting is gone next episode based on the previews. Looks like he finally does try to make a move, but it backfires bad and he goes out the door. That or Kelley plays her idol and sends him out a more noble way. Speaking of which, that was probably the best thing for Terry's game. He was out the door himself pretty soon. Now he pretty much has a guaranteed invite back onto the show to the future from producers, and a third chance to win the game.

Based on the huge Bayon alliance, Stephen should be trying to get to the end with Kimmi and Wigglesworth. Kimmi's annoying and Wigs has done nothing. I think that's his best chance of winning.

If Stephen does end up in a 0 vote situation again, I won't be able to watch. He'll have a nervous breakdown. I mean, a worse one than the first time.

Fishbach hit another team's target in an immunity challenge, almost single-handedly sending Bayon to tribal council. But his name wasn't mentioned once as a potential target in that episode. That is someone with power.

He's been portrayed as nearly equal to Jeremy, and definitely more powerful than Kimmi. Jeremy trusts Fishbach; Jeremy has said as much.

If Stephen goes home, it'll be because of his paranoia and overplaying. If he can keep that side of him in check, he's guaranteed at least final 6. And then, he'll be the one in prime position to take out Jeremy.

I'm definitely not counting out Kelley's immunity idol either. That's going to cause some trouble if she plays it right.

Well you called that one.

Frustrating episode until the end with the big alliance not realizing they need to take each other out and targeting Wentworth and Ciera, but Wentworth's idol play was GREAT! Not even her closest ally knew she had it and you rarely see an idol play work as perfectly as it did tonight with it not only saving the holder but in exchange a big power player running the game also going home. I could see Joe and Fish targeting each other again very soon.

Hopefully now things begin being shaken up and really hope Ciera grabs the idol at the challenge and hopefully the big alliance breaks up. Also can we PLEASE stop with these balance challenges? We have all these immunity beasts out there and yet all the immunity challenges are endurance/balance! Let the challenge beasts duke it out in something physical.

I know it's going to get heat from you guys because the hate towards Russell Hantz is quite strong from a few of you, but it was very similar to how Russell played his idols. He knew when to play them and how. Specifically in Heroes vs Villians where he got Tyson to switch his vote to Parvati, which made it enough votes on Parvati for him to give her his idol sending Tyson home instead. All Tyson wanted to do was eat those hot dogs. That move will also be one of my most remembered Survivor moves.

It's one thing to find an idol, but the biggest thing is knowing how to play it. Kelley's move wasn't as big because she played it for herself, and she's still in the minority. Now had she known to give it to Kass last week, that could have changed the entire fabric of the game.

When players use the idol on someone else in order to give their alliance power in the game, that is when it is truly used to it's greatest potential.

Another memorable moment was when the Three Amigos (Reynold, Malcolm, and Eddie) were all the minority three and were all immune from elimination. If only they took out Cochran or Dawn instead of Phillip. Sadly that didn't end up making a difference in the end because all three ended up out the door anyway. Those three are still some of my favorite players, and I would specifically love to see Reynold back for another season.

Russell Hantz found 5 idols and played 2 of them correctly. That's hardly knowing what to do with the idols.

I also want better challenges because of the elite field we have out there. Wiglesworth could probably get to the thingy next week first because she's a brilliant swimmer. Hope she goes for it.

That was pretty great. I always liked Savage, but he's become quite a sore loser in recent weeks. Felt good to see him blindsided.

I like Wiglesworth but I'd much rather see Ciera or Wentworth grab the idol in case the big alliance decides to play stupid again and keep trying to get them out instead of a big threat. But if someone from the big alliance is gonna get it I'd rather Joe or Spencer. If the big alliance does stay together though Wiglesworth should be the one going for it since she can probably outswim anybody.

Also didn't think Savage would be immature enough to flip off Wentworth and Ciera on his way out, as a returning player you'd think he'd at least on some level respect the brilliant idol play. Kass on the other hand I fully expected that.

Savage was flipping off Abi for her comment about him finally making the jury.

Oh was he? I didn't hear Abi's comment so I assumed he was just flipping off Ciera and Wentworth because he was pissed about being blindsided.

I believe Abi said "At least you made the jury." Which of course refers to Savage being the final person to not make the jury section of the game in Pearl Islands. Damn you Lill!

I thought it was a good line.

Would have loved to see Savage pull this face.

Abi is going to cost herself this game if she keeps that shit up. The longer this trend of her getting dragged along goes the more I can see her winning this.

Dont know why Cierra is getting any love, she has played a truly terrible game in my opinion. Plus she has made terrible arguments to get people to flip on the alliance. Plus she's not going to get the advantage because she's dog shit at any of the physical stuff and if she does go for it somebody else will and they will crush her.

They will only do physical challenges for a reward because a physical challenge favours the men

Based on testimony from everyone on the Villains tribe other than Russell, that was a complete fluke. Russell had no idea Tyson swapped his vote. He just gave Parvati the idol because he wanted to look like a big man.

But it was edited in a way that made Russell look like a mastermind because it fit the narrative better.

That still leaves him with 1 idol that he's ever played correctly on purpose. Not a great track record.

Abi cost herself the game already by virtue of being Abi. She's got nothing to lose.

Ciera seems to have lost her mind, but she also gave us the Woo blindside, so I'll always love her for that.

I'm Russell Hantz!

Fuck Russell Hantz!

Flaaaaaaw in the gaaaaaame.

Nope.

Damn how much did Joe fuck up this episode? He got the only person in his alliance who was looking out for him voted out, by basically telling Wentworth she was the target. And now just like last season he's in a spot where his own alliance wants him out. Lol.

:lmao:

I need Lil and Skinny Ryan to be in the audience at the reunion

The thing I cant understand wasnt there meant to be some strong final 5 alliance? Kass, Ciera, Joe, Keith and Wentworth wasnt it? That was a bunch of crap

Jesus, so Jeremy now has two immunity idols.

I know. Barring a MAJOR blindside I don't see how he's not winning the game now because if he's in the finals nobody beats him.

On the bright side the Witches Covent as they're being called all survived the week and may even be in a good position going forward. Hate to see Wigglesworth go but I hadn't seen her make a move on her own yet and she was one person afraid to go against the group and use Ciera, Wentworth and Abi to her advantage so oh well.

Also Wentworth is starting to get a winners edit as well.

Yeah but at this stage can you really beat Jeremy's edit. It may go down as the winner's edits of all winner's edits

Oh not even close but there's still a chance of a blindside there. He seems like the type to get blindsided with an idol in their pocket because they're too cocky.

Fish could get him at some point due to that advantage he got, but I'm not sure Fish realizes he can't beat Jeremy.

I've seen what happens when the favourite to win the season gets two hidden immunity idols and is seen as a physical threat but never actually wins individual immunity. Does not work out very well.

This means the final three will be the strategic guy (Stephen), the thin white girl (Wentworth), person who thinks they played the best game but was never actually the leader (Ciera) and the person on welfare comes in fourth.
