I'm new to these forums, but am a long time wrestling fan. Anyhow, since the first promo aired, I immediately thought, "STING!". This was probably because it aired the night after the Rumble and the nostaligia of seeing Diesel and Booker T return brought me back to the MNWs. At that time, Sting was a favorite of mine and, thus, the Starrcade '97-esque promo got my attention.
That being said, we all know the Undertaker is returning tonight. Other than that, I'm keeping my mind open so as not to be disappointed.
In regards to the promos and conspiracy theories, I'd just like to throw something out there that I haven't seen discussed much. My apologies if it's already been mentioned int this thread (there are now 83 pages and while I did browse them all, I did *not* read every word). As the 2.21.11 numbers are fading out, focus in on the second "2" (perhaps even flip it over). Here's a picture:
What does that look like? Not sure? What is this, then:

what wwe could do is play the promo tonight, then have triple h's music hit. He comes out, cut a promo saying how we all thought it was taker, have him rant and rave about it for a few mintues. Then suddenly............. Lights out GONG GONG Undertaker returns, hense setting up there match, leaving wwe over a month to built to it. That would work for me.

It doesn't say on there that he's going to accept the bookings. That's just so you can submit them. Remember, too, that Bryan Danielson not only was accepting bookings right before he re-signed with WWE, but also continued to make appearances afterwards. I'd imagine Sting might be granted similar privileges in the wording of his contract.

You'll notice he's got TNA dates as the only dates on his calendar. I don't frequent his site, so I'd imagine those were programed in a long time ago just assuming he might appear.

No. It was mentioned almost immediately after the promo aired for the first time that it looked like a scorpion's tail, which helped fuel the sting speculation.
What is interesting though is look at the two uses of "2" - they are different, with one looking more like a tail than the other. Any meaning? Perhaps, but then all three uses of "1" are different as well. My guess is that it has no meaning whatsoever, and the fact it looks like a tail is coincidence, or reading into it what we want to see!

3. I can see a SMALL resemblance of a face on the side of the window, but i don't see it as Stings Face, it's just a coincidence from the lightening.

The reason that Booker T and Nash canceled their appearances was because they had already signed with the WWE.
Sting isn't confirmed to have signed with the WWE, and he isn't confirmed to not sign with the WWE. We don't know what he's doing. But canceling his appearances while this entire speculation is going on wouldn't exactly keep it a secret now would it. . .LITTLE BUDDY

Plus Booker cancelled as they coincided with the Rumble and a full time gig. I'm sure Sting only really does church events now, which I don't suppose WWE will care about. Plus, there aren't any listed dates listed, and that site seems really out of date anyway - broken links, TNA dates still, etc.
BTW - I'm not saying Sting has signed for the WWE, nor that I believe he will! Going by the site is inconclusive one way or the other.

Now, I just wanted to say a few things. First, I am 100% sure that the one in the promo is Undertaker. He has had light reddish-brown hair before & couldve easily shaved a bit to get the look in the promo. Secondly, hes had similar looks before circa Ministry of Darkness. I just think itd be a bit cheesy if it were Triple H or HBK cuz thatd be too easy in some ways.
Now, it does look to me that there r two people in the promo. BUT, in the second promo, the figure vanished out of thin air. So, its possible that Taker could be inside & outside at the same time. It could even be repeating the first promo at the end.
Now, about Sting: He has not come out & said himself that the rumors r false. Theyve been "close sources" or "inside sources", not a specific, reliable WWE official or Sting himself. Also, the post that reported about the potential deal is not known to be the tabloid/gossip type.
The Taker/HHH match could indeed be a hoax/cover up just like the WM guest host situation was. WWE officials or whatnot said that another individual was confirmed as the host, but it turned out to be The Rock. So, if its possible to keep returns like that under wraps, so is something as huge as Sting debuting in WWE.
Personally, I dont think TNA is right for Sting anymore cuz of the anti-christ, Ric Flair god thing compared for the mild swearing & PG rated WWE, but thats just me. Itd be a good way for him to go out right. So what if he joins WWE or not? It isnt going to bring him down. Its just the reasons for him not going to WWE in the first place r pretty much nonexistent now while TNA is getting more extreme.

Ok so I have been thinking about the unfinished business HHH and Sheamus have and a few months ago I would say HHH fueding with Sheamus would make sense but now I am not sure if people would care about the match at WM. So maybe if HHH returns tonight he will enter a fued with Taker instead of Sheamus.

Yes i have seen this on & off over the past few years. I agree to an extent tho. Things could change. Not saying that they will, but u never know. The thing about Sting is nothings for sure. Ive been a long time Sting fan & he never ceases to surprise me so.
Yes in approx 4 hours these forums will erupt over whatever happens. Either I'm getting quite excited with the anticipation of what will happen. Whether it be sting or trips or HBK. Or maybe all of them. The only thing we can be sure about is that it is deffo the undertaker. Either way wwe creative has done a very good job in getting us all guessing what's going on. whether on purpose or by accident

I can't remember the last time before that.
