NFL Week 3 LD

I.. LOVE.. the guy who used to manufacture the unauthorized destruction of dogs in his spare time. He's carrying my WZ Yahoo team to victory. (along with McFadden)
I love Vick. That TD run was vintage.

Unfortunately, Tolbert has single handedly lead the demise of two other teams of mine. Why the fuck did I start Tolbert over Foster, Stewart &/or LT?! I mean, what was I thinking.
You must not have been thinking. LT is good for a solid 8-10 points (PPR, 6-8 standard), plus more if he scores. And if Foster is Arian Foster, then you really are an idiot. That guy seems to be good. I thought it was just the crap Indy run D, but unless Dallas has a bad run D too, it's him.

Also - REALLY kicking myself for thinking Owens would explode on Carolina, and benching Maclin - who has 2 TDs. Way to make me feel horrible.
Come on, man, you have Vick, and are rooting for him, but you benched one of his top targets? Bad move by you Will.

And StormTrooper, there are people who know MORE THAN YOU that have said Sanchez isn't going to be good.
I never made myself out to be a genius. I just hate it when people tell me I'm wrong for thinking a franchise QB (whom most people said will be good) will be good, especially when they use a guys rookie year as the ONLY reason. Besides, Megatron (Papa Grande) has long been one of these Anti-New York biased fans (who are just as bad as the bias NY fans). Not to mention I need to defend MY TEAMS QB. You don't see me giving him shit for Stafford (who can't stay healthy, which is worse then what Sanchez did last year). But because Sanchez/The Jets are popular targets, he's gonna shoot them down. I'm defending them with logical points. If you don't like it, then too bad, I really don't care.

I never said everybody was right. I'm just saying that people who know MORE THEN YOU have praised Sanchez.

That matters to me why? Just because a guy gets praise doesn't mean he'll be great, otherwise Carr and Leinart would've been great QB's in this league.

2. How many fucking times do I have to tell you that throwing 2 picks in crucial situations =/= a good game. Jesus.

He had a good game. Great would've been winning it, which didn't happen. But he was good, and almost all of his stats, aside from the 2 picks, were right on par with the guy on the other side of the field.

I gave you stats from the 2 games that matter for this week for Sanchez, the games he played against the team he is playing this week. Who the fucking fuck cares about what he did against the other teams he played? That was last season. Peyton Manning had a bad rookie season too, look how he turned out. And I never once said he was great last year, again he showed flashes of it, which is what rookie franchise QBs do. It just so happens that 2 of his best games last year were against THE FUCKING DOLPHINS, WHO THE JETS ARE PLAYING THIS FUCKING WEEK.

A small 2 game sampling doesn't mean much. Otherwise Charlie Batch would be the next great thing, which he's not. Fact is, Sanchez was, more often then not, mediocre last year at best, which is what I was pointing at.

Again, I never said he IS great. He has shown flashes of great QB play. That is undeniable. Last week, the 2 games against the Dolphins, and the AFC Championship game. 3 very good games and a great one. You act like what a rookie QB does is what he'll do his entire career, and that's ludicrous.

4. Why do you compare me, a Jets fan, to Madden, a supposed "unbias" commentator and his relationship with Favre? I'm a JETS FAN, I should think my QB will be good. Plus as I just proved his numbers back it up.

You said he is good, which is slightly lower then great. He's not even at good yet. 4 good games out of 21 isn't a good ratio.

Again, when did I say Sanchez is a GREAT QB. I have always said he is a franchise QB who has had good games. That's the fucking truth you dumb fucking useless sack of dog shit who names himself after a wide receiver who intentionally drops game winning TD passes.

Lol, don't a few more Jets have to go get DWI's b/c they're dumb motherfuckers or are they just gonna gloat about being future champions then blow on the big stage?

And Calvin > any receiver on the Jets. But you can keep trying to brag up the Jets and how they're so great. I'll be waiting when they fail late in the season.

I'm just sayin, the whole "analysts who know more than you are right" arguement was kinda weak. I actually do think Sanchez is pretty good, and still improving

Blaming a guy for injury is fucking stupid, that's why you aren't bringing it up. Sorry the Lions can't build a competent O-Line around a guy who's supposed to be their franchise QB. You put Stafford or Josh Freeman on the Jets and they take the Jets at least as far as Sanchez did.

Stafford isn't injury prone, the Lions O-Line is just pathetic which has been the main cause of both of his two injuries in the pros.

Cooley clearly fumbled the damn ball! That fucking thing was coming out when he was still up-right for sakes. CHILD PLEASE!!

I have him running in 2 leagues.

In one league, I played him in favor of the often unlikely Stewart (who happened to finally get a TD today) and in another, Arian Foster - because I figured Houston would end up passing against Dallas.

I did have LT starting, but once I noticed Seattle's Defense has given up decent yards to RBs.. I figured.. Tolbert = lone back, LT = shared carries against a Defense that can stop the run better than the Seahawks.

Come on, man, you have Vick, and are rooting for him, but you benched one of his top targets? Bad move by you Will.

I benched Maclin because I had.. Welker (v. Bills), Owens (v. Panthers) and Miles Austin (v. Texans). Owens was the semi-iffy guy I had, but figured "He's facing Carolina, who's given up huge points to WRs, and the Bengals went on record in saying they were gonna show the world they had a super WR core this weekend."

How was I to know the Bengals are a bunch of lying sons of bitches? Also, Welker put up UN-Welker like numbers. Only 5 catches? Brady please.

The Sam Bradford lead St. Louis Rams just put the Redskins in their place! How does St. Louis always know how to play Washington? (I swear someone told me the Rams always know how to beat the Skins.)

He had a good game. Great would've been winning it, which didn't happen. But he was good, and almost all of his stats, aside from the 2 picks, were right on par with the guy on the other side of the field.
But he DIDN'T WIN THE FUCKING GAME. He lost. Why did he lose? Because of the 2 picks. He had an OK game. If he didn't fuck it up when it mattered most, then it would have been a great game. But he did.

A small 2 game sampling doesn't mean much. Otherwise Charlie Batch would be the next great thing, which he's not. Fact is, Sanchez was, more often then not, mediocre last year at best, which is what I was pointing at.
No, Batch wouldn't be the next great thing, because the percentage of good and not good is shit. Batch is a veteran backup. Sanchez's sample size is much smaller, and has had just as many good games as the aforementioned Batch. And again, you're taking his rookie year like that's what he'll always be, which isn't the case with almost all rookie QBs.

You said he is good, which is slightly lower then great. He's not even at good yet. 4 good games out of 21 isn't a good ratio.
That's 20%. For a young rookie that's good. As players get older that percentage grows in good players, and I believe (along with a lot of the media) that Sanchez will grow to that.

Lol, don't a few more Jets have to go get DWI's b/c they're dumb motherfuckers or are they just gonna gloat about being future champions then blow on the big stage?
You're a fucking moron. Braylon Edwards made a fucking mistake. It happens (believe it or not, a fucking shit-ton of people get DWI's, including over 20 NFL players in recent years). You're acting like it's the teams fault that Braylon Edwards drove drunk. They didn't get him drunk. They didn't give him the keys to the car.

And yes, the Jets fans are confident that the team that only got better after going to the AFC Championship game will go further. I wonder why? Maybe because they are better then last year, and they were 30 minutes from the Super Bowl last year.
And Calvin > any receiver on the Jets.
Really? Santonio Holmes has been better then Calvin Johnson. Homes has 700 more yards, better Yards per reception, comparable TDs. The one year Johnson amassed 1000 receiving yards, his team won how many games? Try ZERO. Holmes (a SUPER BOWL MVP) is more consistent, helped his team WIN games, and made his team 1 game from the playoffs.
But you can keep trying to brag up the Jets and how they're so great. I'll be waiting when they fail late in the season.
I will keep talking about my team playing great, when my team plays great, and talk about my team playing like crap, when they play like crap. You can keep talking about your team playing like crap, since that's all they do, and have been for 2 decades. I would wait for the Lions to be great, but if I did, I would be waiting forever.

And now I'm off to the bar to watch my game, like I do every week. I would keep arguing with you, but you're too stubborn to realize how wrong you are.
