NFL Week 3 LD

But he DIDN'T WIN THE FUCKING GAME. He lost. Why did he lose? Because of the 2 picks. He had an OK game. If he didn't fuck it up when it mattered most, then it would have been a great game. But he did.

It was still a good game. I didn't say great. Fitzpatrick played good.

That's 20%. For a young rookie that's good. As players get older that percentage grows in good players, and I believe (along with a lot of the media) that Sanchez will grow to that.

Ok, I don't think Sanchez will be much. He's not shown a whole lot of greatness to make me think otherwise.

You're a fucking moron. Braylon Edwards made a fucking mistake. It happens (believe it or not, a fucking shit-ton of people get DWI's, including over 20 NFL players in recent years). You're acting like it's the teams fault that Braylon Edwards drove drunk. They didn't get him drunk. They didn't give him the keys to the car.

I never said it was the organizations fault, but it doesn't change the fact that Braylon might be one of the dumbest motherfuckers on the planet. The team has a taxi-cab service thing for that situation. And Braylon has experienced this before. Donte Stallworth ran over and killed someone last year. Wanna know who was in the car with him when that happened? Dumb motherfucker Braylon.

And yes, the Jets fans are confident that the team that only got better after going to the AFC Championship game will go further. I wonder why? Maybe because they are better then last year, and they were 30 minutes from the Super Bowl last year.

They should really thank the Colts and Bengals for tanking it, but keep believing that they really were the 2nd best team in teh AFC last year.

Really? Santonio Holmes has been better then Calvin Johnson. Homes has 700 more yards, better Yards per reception, comparable TDs. The one year Johnson amassed 1000 receiving yards, his team won how many games? Try ZERO. Holmes (a SUPER BOWL MVP) is more consistent, helped his team WIN games, and made his team 1 game from the playoffs.

In the 3 years they've both been in the league (07-09) Calvin has more catches, yards, TD's, + higher Catches per game. It's not his fault that Holmes has had a 2x SB winnng QB throwing to him while he's had the wonders of Daunte Culpepper, Dan Orlovsky, Jon Kitna, throwing to him for the majority of his career. Calvin can't play D as well as O. And he isn't currently suspended for substance abuse.

But yeah, Santonio's better. Silly me.

I will keep talking about my team playing great, when my team plays great, and talk about my team playing like crap, when they play like crap. You can keep talking about your team playing like crap, since that's all they do, and have been for 2 decades. I would wait for the Lions to be great, but if I did, I would be waiting forever.

Pretty sure the Jets haven't accomplished a whole lot more then the Lions have since the 1970. So boasting about your team is unneccessary here.

I'll agree they've been bad over the past DECADE, but that's mainly on the shoulders of Millen. Doesn't change the fact that the Jets have exactly the same amount of SB Titles as the Lions have in that span, but whatever.

And now I'm off to the bar to watch my game, like I do every week. I would keep arguing with you,

That's the smartest thing you've done all day.

but you're too stubborn to realize how wrong you are.

I'd agree I'm being stubborn, if I was wrong. Which I'm not.

And so much for the AFC West being any good. Janikowski missed a GW FG and Rivers threw a game ending pick.

Its called salt in the wound, ladies.

He wanted a pick-6. Had he of fumbled - they (SD) would've had ONE play, at most, (assuming the scramble for the fumble didn't waste what time was left) and the field would've been 40+ yds to the endzone. Just drop back into coverage and you still win the game.

No it doesn't matter if he wanted a pick 6 or not. You go down, when the game is on the line. What if he fumbled and instead of SD getting one play they ran the fumble back for the TD?

I will bet anything that after his coaches give him praise for getting the pick, he got reamed for not going right down. Sure it adds a little excitement but not smart at all.

The odds of that type of situation happening are sim-to-none. It's not impossible, and weirder things have happened - but overall, it was likely a spur of the moment - excitement of the pick type of thing.

He was doing what he was taught first, over doing what he should've known second. As a Defensive back - you're taught to pick and return. Not pick and drop.

I agree, he should've dropped but don't disagree that he pushed for the extra credit.

What are the odds of the Jets Defense holding Ronnie Brown & Ricky Williams (both) to under 9 total fantasy points? Not very likely. But I have to hold out hope.

Good point on doing what he was taught to do, give him the same situation next I bet he goes down lol.

Better than the odds of the Da Bears holding Rodgers and Driver combined to under 5 points.

Braylon Edwards is suspended.. .. for 1 full First Quarter. WOW, don't leap out to punish him all at once or anything.

:lmao: I thought that was fucking ******ed

But anyway, made my Taco Bell run, I ready to go, hoping the Jets at least make this a shoot out since I'm going up against their D

Hey Will....Hey justin... love you both...

However, I'm not loving my fucking Broncos who completely shit all over the field. I started Thomas this week after he got me 15 points on the bench last week. A total bust.

So yeah, I have 4 players going in this game and I still don't have a chance to win. I hate football...

I had Austin Collie sitting on my bench for that game... fucker had 41 fucking points...oh well at least I'm still kicking Wills ass:lmao:, glad I started Gaffney over Ward in my other league though, I was worried that would backfire in a big way

I did start Austin Collie, so that was a good move. Good call sitting Ward. I have him in one of my leagues and I think he has gotten me a total of 8 points so far this season. Speaking of Steelers, I have Mike Wallace sitting on my bench with 23.70 points. :disappointed:

Ward gave me 1.9 points last week, a lousy pathetic 1.9 fucking points, that's just unacceptable

Dustin Keller has 17.9 pts. already... and he's sitting on my goddanm bench, had I only known Dallas Clark wasn't going to do a fucking thing today...:banghead:

Dustin Keller just won me my game. I entered down 17 and he has picked up 20 something already. Can't believe he went undrafted in my league.

I'm prolly going to get rid of him, Clark has been more productive this season for me, he's the third highest scorer on that team, right behind Rodgers, and Wayne, and since both Clark and Keller have the same bye week it's kinda pointless keeping them both
