NFL Week 3 LD - Featuring A Rematch Of Last Seasons AFC Championship Game

In fairness, that last play you can't blame them for. It was such a close play, you can't blame them for not seeing the INT, and once the touchdown was the official call, the replay couldn't overturn, since it's not indisputable.

Exactly. Same shit would have happened with the real refs.

People won't look at it like that though, especially since the rest of the game, ESPECIALLY the 4th Quarter, was so terribly officiated as a whole.

Sweet goodness I hadn't seen that interference either from Tate. The guy was shoved down but that doesn't get called? Now they can't even get the extra point figured out?

I always thought dual possession goes to the O.
It does, according to the MNF's rule expert.

Yeah, that was pretty bad PI.

But Golden Tate is a former Notre Dame player, so I'm sure it was justified. :)

Gruden cannot stand this officiating. And he won't quit talking about it.

What a completely bogus call. I bet the locked out ref's are laughing their asses off.

Not really. When it happened, I thought it was a simultaneous catch. It's not inconceivable the refs on the field thought the same thing.

Remember, the reply said the play stood, not that it was confirmed which means they simply could not find irrefutable evidence to overturn.

Just because the ball is on Jenning's chest versus inside Tate's arm shouldn't matter. Jennings was still in the air.

They missed the PI, but I am not sure they got the catch wrong.

All the talk show hosts are thrilled with this outcome.

I would be ecstatic myself since like I said, while Payton is suspended and the Saints are losing because of it, FUCK THE NFL. On the other hand, now the Saints have to play a pissed off Green Bay squad in Green Bay next week. It could end up being a massacre. The Saints lost there in 2005 something like 54-3... I never wanted to experience something like that again, but now there's a good chance of it. :(

I think the camera angle is skewing people's views. The one straight on shot showed Tate had possession as well.

What's going to get overlooked now is the gutsy, amazing performance Aaron Rodgers had tonight. Not many, if any, quarterbacks in this league could have taken the beating he did in the 1st Half and then come back in the 2nd Half to play absolutely beautiful football, putting his team in position to win the game. The guy is as tough and talented player as there ever has been at the QB position.

That was such bullshit. the refs decided this game and this needs to be reviewed. The Pack is my team, but that was an interception. The analysts are even saying it. Fuck all these refs. FUCK EM ALL!

Elaborate.

Why do we side with what the official thought most likely happened at full speed from one angle but we aren't allowed to go with what they thought most likely happened after viewing it at slow speed and multiple angles? I'd much prefer their best guess instead of their first guess in times of ambiguity.

They just reiterated that Jennings had full possession of the ball on the ground and Tate only had one arm in. So it was an interception.
