I don't know why I fooled myself into thinking the Saints would be anything special without Sean Payton. They are beyond fucking pathetic right now.

I doubt Sean Payton could really fix much with this team, it appears more of their problems are coming from the defense, Payton is more of an offense guy. Saints just need to fire Spagnuolo, he's shit & obviously can't fire up his defense, or put together a decent enough game plan for them to win anything.
No, our offense is playing the worst that it has since Sean Payton started coaching here. The play calling is simply atrocious, and Brees is playing absolutely horrible football.
The Saints defense was just as bad last year but we still managed to finish the season 13-3. The defense could be improved, sure, but the awful play of the offense is why we've given away these first 3 games. Our team is built to light up the scoreboard, and it's now obvious we can't do that without Sean Payton at the helm.

The offense can't keep making up for the deficiencies of the defense forever. The defense has to step up sooner or later and stop teams when it counts. They haven't done that.

Best National Anthem in a while for Ravens-Pats. Two thoughts-
1) I might be from Massachusetts, but I fucking hate Patriots fans. My sister lives in Baltimore, and Baltimore sports fans are just awesome. It's endearing how they shout "O!" during the National Anthem. They were even doing that when the Orioles sucked.
2) He ended the National Anthem with the same pair of chords that ends Tenacious D's "Fuck Her Gently". Just thought I'd throw that one out there.
