Kane's Return - KEEP IT ALL IN HERE!

I think that the first. Video is Kane and that he will be returning at the Royal Rumble because he always does well in the Rumbles. I'm not sure if he will have his mask or not. I hope he does personally.

The "It Begins" video interests me a lot. My first thought was obviously the Undertaker and then possibly Jericho because of the Bible verses and taking back what is rightfully his (title of best in the world?).

But could it be that the WWE is fooling us all? We assume it is the Undertaker because of how dark the promo is and because we just saw another video with Kane. You can't really think of Kane and not think of the Undertaker as well IMO. And the whole [Y]outube, [2]nd day of [J]anuary thing. Jericho is famous for some kind of code or sign in his returns and people are naturally going to look for something to point to him.

But let me offer another scenario. The video states that they will return to take back what is his. Who has more to get back than Vince McMahon. Maybe Vince doesn't want his Job back for himself (because we know he is still in charge) but maybe he wants the day to day operations to return to the real McMahon Family. Enter Stephanie or even Shane McMahon to try to get the job of COO from Triple H as part of the conspiracy storyline.

But who knows. In all actuality it most likely will be the Undertaker. But it's always fun to speculate different outcomes.

So last week it showed the whole glove punching thru the glass and the mask dropping and now this past monday it showed same thing basically and the mask dropping at the end as well and a new note adding Kane Resurrected at the end of the promo. NOW i know what this means and i think it's obvious instead of the younger group not knowin who kane was back in 1997-2003 its showing the mask and i hope he does come back with it and start fueds with who ever i think when he first comes back he needs to face henry first of course but not win the title maybe have cody rhodes or someone cost him the title and have him fued. And into extreme rules after WM have him turn heel attack maybe big show, orton, hhh-hes the reason why the mask was gone in the first place or any top face in the WWE at the time. Gimme ur thought on the whole idea of kane brining the mask back and how u think the whole kane ressurected will turn out. I'm hoping its something big and something new for kane and not the "Jobber" kane.

If he comes back with the mask, then good. More importantly, I hope he comes back with a shirt and in better shape. He looked a lot cooler back then, a lot more marketable. The WWE could also sell the masks again. They'll sell very well. It would be a nice treat for those of us who have wanted to see him with the mask again for so long. We know what he looks like beneath the mask, which might make the mask pointless, but I'll just kick back and enjoy a badass Kane with his cool look again. He's awesome on the mic, maybe not the greatest in the ring, but if he gets in better shape and expands his moveset a bit he can impress.

I know he's older than he used to be and it will be difficult for him to get in better shape, but maybe he can do it. He said it himself he still has a few years left in him. So long as he's having fun, he'll stick around.

with the mask added back to the character maybe they can replace Glenn Jacobs when it comes time for him to hang up the boots and replace him with someone equally as formidable, that way he can have a lighter schedule maybe for a while whilst the actual character is relentless, then retire a lot later than intended, leaving the character intact if it still worked

Is it that difficult to add puncuation marks to your statements? Maybe it's easy for you to read, but for others, not so much. Anyway...I'll put my grammar hat away and say this....Kane needs his mask. His character has become stale and boring. It almost leads me to wonder that if he does come back with his mask back on, then maybe they're setting it up for an Undertaker/Kane(with mask) WM match. It's not going to be what it was when he first debuted, but I think it could still work. It would be fitting for what is most likely Taker's last ride.....they could make it work.

I have wanted to see Kane return to full monster form, complete with mask for several years now. His character would benefit so much from a full fledge heel turn. The mask shouldn't be the same as any he has worn before; it should be similar with the red and black colors, but should not be the same exact mask as any he has worn before. If he were to wear an exact replica of one of the masks he has worn before, it will feel as though the heel run and character has been done before. Granted, the monster heel run with him wearing a mask has been done before, but his look needs to differ from any of his pasts looks to signify this run as something new and that the character has evolved in some way. A new but similar look would allow familiarity between the character and the fans that have been around since the character's debut while also treating the fans who have wanted Kane to go back to the masked heel look. By the same token, such a look would signify something new and interesting to newer fans that have only seen Kane as just another big man thrown into random matches here and there. As the old saying goes, it is a win/win situation.

I am hoping that the WWE does not screw the return up by airing all of these cool promo videos only to have him randomly come out to a match and dominate his opponent. You all know what I am talking about because similar situations have taken place over the years: the WWE airs video creating hype for a return and instead of the return being shocking and impactful, the character's music randomly hits to signify a match is about to take place, the character dominates their opponent and several more opponents over the next few weeks. The end result is that the return is nothing special. No, this return should make shock waves similar to Kane's debut during the Undertaker/Austin cage match. I cannot say for certain how it should be handled, but he should return in the middle of a match and take out a top superstar creating a big feud between them. Perhaps the Undertaker/Kane feud still has some quality left in it. Undertaker can make a triumphant return by winning a match only to have Kane come out and leave him lying with a Tombstone. As I said, I am not sure the exact route to take, but the point is that this needs to be handled right in order to make something special and impactful - something that gets people interested in what this monster is going to do next.

Kane's my fav wrestler and has been since he started in the WWE, I've been hoping to see the full monster Kane come back for ages. Last years title was great but in the end they made him look very weak and crying like a school girl in that stupid story line with Edge.

I have to say I am very intrigued by the promo videos for Kane's return. There's a nice air of mystery as I don't think any of us know what to truly expect. Certainly, the mask has been prominently featured, but I'm not sure if it's really a necessary part of Kane at this stage of his career. Before WWE screwed up his storyline with Edge last year, Kane was the dominant monster that everyone has always suspected he could be... without the mask.

Sure, it might be nice for nostalgia, but will it be the classic old look if the mask is brought back? Likely not. In the video promos, Kane still has no hair and is sporting a combination of his 2002 and 2003 looks. It looks like the 2002/2003 mask and the towel over his head is a reminder of when he first unmasked. Combine everything and you might wonder if they're trying to "make over" the classic Kane look by combining different elements throughout his career. But if they bring the mask back, it must be done the right way, I don't think WWE wants to damage Kane's look by taking a chance on maybe re-inventing him.

But, hey, certainly intrigued to say the least. Looking forward to his return and I for one hope there's new things on the horizon and another World Championship, whether it be the WWE or World Title. At this point in time, I'm not ready to see Kane and Undertaker again... maybe at some point, but I think their last feud justified Kane's career by giving Kane the victories over the Undertaker that he finally deserved. A feud leading into Wrestlemania will always end the same way and we've already seen Kane built up only to be torn down by the Taker at Wrestlemania twice. I'd like to see Kane go in a different direction... a World Title... maybe new feuds with Sheamus or Orton, heck even Cena or Punk down the line after Wrestlemania because you know it won't be before (Punk and Cena, especially Cena have their plans in place, I'm sure). Despite being around forever, there's still a handful of top stars Kane hasn't had a legitimate feud with.

I love the latest Kane promo video you see him looking at himself in the mirror with the mask on, he also has the towel on his head the whole time. Intriging that they briefly show taker, shamus, cena, the rock, cm punk, the miz, henry, del rio, orton, big show. then a close up of Kanes white eye while hes wearing the mask. Then you see the burning mask hit the ground again. Could this mean that no one will be safe Kane is going after everybody I'm getting more excited the more promo's I see.

I think it's about time Kane won the Royal Rumble. He has such a dominant history in the Royal Rumble. He has the most RR appearances, the most Final 6 appearances, the most eliminations in a single Rumble, and the 2nd most eliminations total.

If he's going to return at the RR, he needs to win it.

All I have to say is I marked out hardcore last night when that Kane promo hit! The minute I saw him in the promo with the mask on I went nuts!!!

Im excited he is coming back. I just hope WWE has a plan with this and they dont write it as they go. Kane needs to be a dominant force and he needs to be a heel.

Rumors were floating around that he was talking about retiring soon, so this might be part of his last run with WWE. Im pretty sure he even talked about wanting to put the mask back on for it.

I would LOVE to see Taker vs Kane at WrestleMania...another career vs streak match.

Either way I cant wait.

I don't think they can go back to a mask without the long hair, so I'm really interested to see what he looks like when he returns. Mask or no mask I'm sure he isn't going to be the monster he should have always been and it could be a very good run for him before he retires.

I agree, and like I have said on some kane topics, kane Resurrected has got to be more than the same basic kane since 2003. Now one thing that you hit the nail on the head, a kane that wears a mask for no reason is actually more scary than PPL realise. I have compared kane to Michael Myers, and they have allot in common than many like to think. The original myers and kane we never knew what they looked like under the mask. Now the new myers from rob zombie's films and current kane we know what they look like.

Now if kane dawns a mask again if done right, he could be more scary than the original kane because kane is wearing a mask for no reason at all and that is completely insane, give kane no motive and we are talking about some monster. And what is the old saying in horror, someone with no motive or reason is actually even more scary

What I'd like to know is, if Kane is indeed going to return with the mask and be all "old school" what would be his justification for doing so? Additionally, would he pointlessly wear a wig again? A masked-bald Kane would be different and a little creepy. Or a full-head mask similar to Rey? Could that be done?

Think what people seem to forget is at the end of the day Kane wore his mask for NO REASON since the beginning... I mean if we took the unmasking conclusion as to 'it was all psychological' then yeah he wore it for no reason (though it was originally booked as him being actually burnt)

The videos explain why he would re-don the mask, he's not comfortable in his own skin anymore, just like before. But no, the videos confirm jack and I'm sceptical over the whole mask thing.

I'd really like to see the mask brought back. Possibly with wig but I think it would be cheesy. When did he start wearing the wig? That has always been a mystery to me. Because when he first wrestled as masked kane he had a full head of hair. You could see the roots plus he always used his hair to cover his face when unmasked before. Anyways, I'd like to see him bring back his original music too. It would be cool if during the rumble the lights went out for a few seconds and the announcers act as if they think it may be technical difficulty and the audience gets ready to witness the return of Taker then all of a sudden Kane's first theme with the organs starts to play. Lol maybe have Santino or somebody eliminate themselves when they see Kane entering the ring. Plus he wouldn't have to win the rumble either. He can be eliminated via clothesline, land on his feet, get back in and eliminate everyone leaving his last victim as the official winner. I just hope above all else that he is bringing the mask back and him burning it isn't just him finally letting go of it.

Kane would return to get revenge on Mark Henry right? I'm guessing that's the first feud he has back.

With the mask, you can explain it all kinds of ways. Just like he wore it for psychological reasons at first, maybe he wears it because he feels more intimidating with it on.

The aesthetics of "hair or no hair" isn't all that hard. He can grow fucking hair. I don't think the mask always had a wig, I think it just did near the end.

I think that the only time it ever was a wig was the night he removed the mask. His hair looked strange to me that night and that was the only time it had looked that way to me. But I completely forgot the whole Mark Henry revenge thing. He could use the rumble for a title shot at wm against henry but I can't see Kane doing this. Plus if he's a heel then I can't really see it. Maybe he'll thank Henry for reminding him of who he is and that's a monster. He was taken out because he was week and another monster got him. It used to be that he was THE monster. Sure there was Taker but Undertaker had reasoning and fought people he was feuding with or what not. Kane was just a big, red, evil monster that destroyed anyone in his path(to include Mark Henry) for seemingly no reason.

I see Kane returning as a neutral monster (beat the hell out of everyone), it would be great to see him winning the rumble, but i cant see him fiting in a ME at WM, judging by the actual storylines of course.

If it already has been posted on here then please forgive me but glen jacobs has started to regrow his hair again. I saw two photos of him in october. One he is with his wife and it is a close up picture of the two of them. You can he his hair has grown quite a bit, especially from his last appearance on tv, where it was completely bald. And the other of him is with edge and some girls. I think they may be kane's daugthers, not too sure about that.

But my point is that when kane does come back with the mask, he will support a wig for a while until his hair is fully grown in about a years time. I'm all up for that idea. As long as he doesn't have to wear a wig all the time if he shaves his head off again lol. But I always believed that when kane would return with the mask it would kinda be the signal that he is ready for his last big push, like a fianl horah if you will. This is kinda a sad time in that regards but I should think that kane will be back to his usual destructive self wish any kane fan would love to see one more time before the big red machine hangs his boots up for good. Also I think kane looks in better shape than he did before he left, looking at the photos of him in october again.

I am still not sold on the mask being back... it just seems like maybe it's another one of WWE's swerves just so they can say to the fans "gotcha!" Also, the promos are recent, so it does look like regardless if he was growing his hair back, he's shaved himself again.

I'm just finding it comical that a few of you say your not sold on the mask being back, before you even see it. It's like saying you don't like a certain food before giving it a taste. There doesn't need to be any justification on why he's rocking the mask because it's all entertainment at the end of the day "not real". I don't think he needs a wig either he'd be more crazy without it, but doesn't matter to me as long as he's wearing a mask were all good.

Everyone will pay attention to Kane and that's a fact. My older sister who stopped watching wrestling around '04 was kinda excited to hear Kane will be wearing a mask again. Fans have been wanting this for years now.
