The underdog thing is terribly annoying. Who gives a shit, really? The guy either wins matches or loses matches. Just because he's 4'2" doesn't mean that we have to stick him with this underdog moniker. He should have known that when he signed up the WWE, his competition would be twice his size. So that makes him an "underdog"? :rolleyes:

That was the initial stance I was going to take on it. But I really need to get Bret out of this tourney. My goal was to kill off Edge and then Bret.

I appreciate that.

What normally kills me is how so many people frown upon posters when they use Wikipedia to back their claims. But I NEED Wikipedia because my memory is shot from all of the booze and alcohol I've consumed over the years.
 
Agreed D-man, I have Wikipedia supporting my claims throughout the majority of my posts in the tournament also due to the fact that I definitely don't have the old-school knowledge that half of regulars have on this forum, or the years of viewing on my side.
 
Wikipedia helps me out. How do you think I found Savage came from Downers Grove? Lol. Oh and he used to play pro ball, even being on the White Sox. So yeah, I love Savage way more than I did before I knew that stuff.

I don't know how they do it.

Take IC, for instance. He and I are real life best friends. This guy is married, busy with work, goes to the gym, and lives a normal life. but I've never known anyone who was THAT intelligent that could cram THAT much wrestling knowledge in their head. It's incredible.

Savage is in my top 5 for all-time favorites. I was lucky enough to follow his career from when he debuted. I still remember his debut on Prime Time Wrestling, actually. And when he introduced Liz when he was looking for a manager. THAT was a shocker, because she was nothing like anyone that we had ever seen as a manager before. And she was SMOKIN hot.

I completely agree, now I consider myself to be fairly decent knowing of the 95's -> in WWE, and title reigns as a total (it's kinda easy to learn of title reigns) but that's about it, and it's only cause I looked up older tapes when my friend introduced me to WWE and I 2 weeks later went "who the fuck is Stone Cold?"..

Yes I know, embarrassing moment for me now.

Edit: But hell I can't compete anywhere near the knowledge of IC, Lariat, and probably the majority of people with above 1000 post-counts when it comes to knowledge.
 
It's funny because I definitely know more than most poster son this site, but I can't remember "stats" for shit's sake. If you asked me how many world titles Bret Hart had, I wouldn't be able to tell you. But I know he was a multi-time world champion and I could recite the story of him fucking Sunny in my sleep. Go figure.
 
Certainly I wouldn't call you anything else than very knowing of the business neither, that would be credibility suicide (or what you call it)

I have to admit I as well have to look up statistics and such, but I remember the careers and such of wrestlers fairly well, if I took the time to study them, and while I do know some statistics, it's only cause I took the time to properly study it, but I wouldn't be able to tell you how many WWF championships Hulk Hogan held, or NWA championships Ric Flair held, cause I didn't study it further.

I'm awful with stats, because...they really aren't important. But I can explain to you the ins and outs of any storyline going on right now, along with things that have happened to the wrestlers involved in the past, and to what I want to see. So yeah.
