I would like to see Miz vs. The Undertaker at WrestleMania 28 and here is why:

Taker is undefeated at WrestleMania, and Miz like The Undertaker is also undefeated, so basically it is Streak vs. Streak, and if Miz were to lose this match, Taker would be making him look good, and this match would be the match that further elevates Miz into becoming even more of a star than he already is, and Taker can go to 20-0 but build up Miz to be a serious threat to the Streak and also get into Taker's head but also for Taker to play mind games on The Miz too

If we want to nitpick, technically Miz isn't undefeated since he lost in the dark match at WM 25.

if taker leaves without giving up his streak he is a massive fuck tard.. he has the oportunity to put a younger guy MEGA MEGA over.. which is what is best for the company when he leaves!! there is no benefit to the company or the other wrestlers him leaving with the streak!! im prety sure he is to much of a knob cheese to lose it but i really hope he does

See, why does everyone think that a young guy would be automatically put over if he beats Taker or he would mean jack shit if he loses? Orton lost to Taker and they feuded for the rest of the year which built Orton back up. It could be the same case if he doesn't retire after WM 28. Jericho beat Stone Cold and The Rock in the same night and he didn't get another world title for six years. He was losing to a rookie Cena three months after he lost the title.

I understand why Taker should keep his streak, but if someone were to end it, it should be CM Punk.

Whether you like it or not, Punk is leading the WWE into a new era. He is the future. To cement him as a true star, have him end Taker's streak cleanly. He is the only one that can beat taker without the fans rioting (at least I hope so).

Most know of the incident between Taker and Punk back in '09 leading to Punk losing to Taker in HIAC. With his current storyline, he can say how the higher ups made him lose to Taker else he would be fired. Otherwise, he would have beaten taker and retained the title.

You're thoughts:
If the streak were to be ended, should CM Punk be the man to do it?

No. Not CM Punk. It should be no other than John Cena. However, Cena is already booked against the Rock at WMXXVIII so I guess Taker has to wait until WMXXIX.

I honestly think that it shouldn't be Punk. Other superstars I have in mind are Chris Jericho and Brock Lesnar if they ever have plans on coming back. Punk can do the promo alright, but I want taker to face a much more bigger opponent that will be a threat to his streak.

I honestly would hate to see the streak end at the hands of anyone other than HBK if it was going to end at all (and yes i know he's retired. I'm just saying that if it was going to end it should have ended with HBK). To have anyone end the streak besides him, although it doesn't hurt HBK, does make it seem like that person was able to do what Shawn Michaels couldn't do. And honestly, I just don't see that happening.
CM Punk is the future of WWE, but they are dropping the ball with him big time. He needs to be in the World title picture. Not this crap with HHH or Nash, but in the WWE title pic. Not trying to break the streak of a man who wrestles once a year. WWE TITLE PICTURE. Period.

Ok, with HiaC on the horizon, a match The Undertaker helped make famous, I thought of a few questions.

1- When would you like to to Taker return?
2- When WILL he return?
3- Who will he have a rivalry with?
4- Who will he face at Wrestlemania?
5- Will the streak end?
6- Who should end the streak (if it is going to end)?

You don't have to answer all of them , unless you would like to.
1- I would like for Taker to return as soon as possible, because i wanna see where the whole last outlaw thing will go.

2- I think that he will not return until 2012, around the Rumble. That will give him more rest but still time to build up for WM.

3- I think that Wade Barret will get some work with him, all going back to the Buried Alive match a while back.

4- This year i want to face Chris Jericho at Mania. I think that would have have a great build and be a great match.

5- I think the streak will end. The reason being that a young guy would be sky rocketed into the big picture of WWE.

6. Last, i think a younger, up and coming star will defeat Taker at WM 29. That way Taker will hit 20-1. He will help WWE gain a new megastar and he could retire knowing he was one of the greatest of all time. This young guy could be anyone. (Barret, Miz, Kofi, Sheamus, Rhodes, Ziggler.) Maybe, Cody Rhodes would be my pick.

So, opinions?

wwe wants to honour its biggest star of an era, the legend, the undertaker. there is no he loses his undefeated streak. he is going out either 20-0 or 21-0.

1- When he knows he can do better than he has been doing recently. Hopefully he returns when his body is rested to the point that he doesn't drag his legacy down with him

2- Only he can answer that. Not even VINCE can make him return if HE doesn't want to.

3- RYDER!!! haha jk! Wade would be a good choice as has been said because of the stunts the Nexus had pulled against Taker.

4- Hopefully a well developed talent so what will likely be his last match won't stink the joint up

5- His streak will never end. If WWE ends it they basically have spit on the legacy. nobody cares what that number to the left of the "-" is. The only number everyone cares about is the ZERO on the right side. Once you put a -1 on it you destroy 20 plus years of sacrificing.

6- Nobody should ever end it. Kane was handpicked by the Undertaker many years ago to end it but Kane turned it down. Out of respect. If Kane didn't take it from Taker back in the day when Kane was a legit "monster" nobody in present day should take it. WWE should NOT use Undertaker to put a younger star over. Because if that star eventually falls flat, they will have demolished Takers legacy..for nothing.

1) Tough call, i want him returning when his body can take it, dont want him just coming back randomly then hurting himself. though hoping to see him in a match at WM 28, hopefully that will be his final bout.

2) The rumour right now is that he will appear at vengeance, it could happen or he may just show up and cut a promo only to be interrupted by his WM opponent.

3) Im thinking he either goes after barret or kane at/if he returns at vengeance. if not then idk what to say.

4) No clue right now, he could make it a trilogy with kane, or triple hhh, it wont happen but maybe sting will swallow his pride and wrestle taker in a match, or they may just toss someone else in there to wrestle taker, no one knows for sure though just wild speculation.

5) i personally dont think/believe that the streak will be ended. sure a young guy could end it but its questionable as to how that would affect the young guy who was to end it. it would most likely hurt anyone who isnt a legend to end takers streaks, but i dont think that theres any legend who would end the streak purely out of respect for the undertaker.

6) like i said in Q. # 5 i dont think its a good idea for anyone to end the streak, undertaker worked his ass off, so vkm let him have the streak because of that, plus he was always a crowd pleaser.

1. Your guess is as good as mine.
2. When ever he wants to.
3. like number 1 your guess is as good as mine.
4. Well it's been rumored that Mick Foley is returning to WWE so I would love to see Undertaker Vs Cactus Jack at Wrestle Maina XXVIII.
5. No one will ever end the streak that's almost like asking who's going to win 201 races to beat Richard Petty's winning streak it will NEVER EVVVVVVVEEEEEERRRRRR Happen Again.
6. Same as number 5.

6- Who should end the streak (if it is going to end)

1.) A few months before Wrestlemania. Honestly, I want him to be in the best health possible and looking his absolute best. I also don't want any lackluster feuds he doesn't belong in, because this very well be the last time he returns to a WWE ring.

2.) I'm guessing before the end of 2011, even as soon as before Survivor Series. However, with the Rock and Triple H being there I really don't think that's necessary. It's not like they need more drawing power at this point...

3.) Chris Jericho. Chris Jericho. Chris Jericho. For the love of Jesus Christ...Chris Jericho.

4.) ^^^^This^^^^

5.) Not a chance.

6.) I'm not one of those people that thinks the streak needs to remain intact. Records are made to be broken, and Taker's streak reminds me a lot of Favre's consecutive start record in the NFL. Something that will likely never be broken, but should if done by a deserving star. What you don't want to see is the WWE give somebody like del Rio a massive push (Rumble, Mania, Summerslam anybody?) and then pull the rug out from under him. I can't think of anybody that deserves it on the current roster.

1- When would you like to Taker return? When Taker is fully healthy as I wouldn’t care if it was until next year’s Wrestemania.
2- When WILL he return? I am not sure. When he feels good and ready as I hope it is not too early. If he does return at some point this year hopefully it is just for a promo or something that wouldn’t allow him to wrestle until he truly is healed and rested. The promos will keep him relevant and hopefully can start his feud towards Wrestlemania.
3- Who will he have a rivalry with? I was hopping Wade Barret to finish of this whole Nexus bigger picture angle that was all of a sudden stopped thanks to the lovely booking of the WWE. I was into that story too.
4- Who will he face at Wrestlemania? Again I am not sure on this. Maybe Wade or if it was to happen Orton. It has to be someone who is really over and not someone stupid and doesn’t deserve the spot. I think Jericho would be a good fit. So my choices would be Jericho, Sheamus or Wade Barret.
5- Will the streak end? No I hope it doesn’t end. I heard that Orton, Kane and supposable Angle were to end the streak. I hope it doesn’t as it is 20 years of busting ass to win ever fight to lose one in the end of an unremarkably amazing career? Sure many guys gone out losing to put someone over and what not so if Takers last match is him losing it should be at Survivor Series not Wrestlemania. Taker goes 19-1 I may not watch WWE anymore. Scripted or not it would be a bad move for them.
6- Who should end the streak (if it is going to end)? No one really should end it. Not Sting, Austin, Trips or god himself. This is something we may never see again in our lifetimes so why ruin something so great. Maybe Ric Flair will come in and try to take the streak from him lol.

I would like to see The Undertaker return as soon as he is ready. I miss him being around and look foward to his return. I do not have a clue when he will actually come back..only he knows that and only he knows what shape his body really is in and how much longer he can go on being an active member of the roster. I hope peoples assumtions are wrong and he has at least a little longer than people would imagine.

I would like him to have a feud with a returning Mick Foley because the work they have done together in the past has been some of my favourite moments in WWE history. A match at Wrestlemania between the two would interest me a lot. It opens the door for Paul Bearer and Kane to be involved also without another Undertaker Vs Kane match. I am not sure Sting will ever sign with the WWE not even for one match but if Sting Vs Undertaker was booked that would be pretty cool although I wont lose any sleep if it never happens.

Chris Jericho would be interesting...if Mark Henry remains the force he is right now up until Wrestlemania I wouldn't mind him being Undertakers opponent but seeing as it's number 20 in the streak I feel it will be somebody bigger or more relevant to Undertakers career. Undertaker Vs Kane with HBK as ref... Undertaker Vs Mick Foley... Undertaker vs Brock Lesnar.

If it was against a younger star I would like to see CM Punk Vs Undertaker...I like Wade Barrett but unless he is given more credibility again I can't see the two going at it.

The Undertaker is my all time favourite and means much more to me than the streak but I still hope the streak never dies and he retires unbeaten at Wrestlemania.

1 - When he's ready, if he comes back too soon he may not be at WM, so when he's ready as he must be at WM.

2 - I don't know, it's definitely going to be before WM as he needs a build before WM. But I don't know if he's ready or if WWE wants him in a storyline.

3 - Maybe Henry, I could see him coming back at HIAC and after the match he could come from under the ring and attack Henry. It would be different than other Henry and 'Taker storylines as Henry has won the big one. But if he came back at WM, I highly doubt it'll be Henry.

4 - I don't know, I think Chris Jericho would be great, it would be a great build up and probably a great match.

5 - NO. People will bring up the point that it may help a younger guy get over, but imagine if a younger guy ends the streak and does a Drew McIntyre. The streak would've been ended for nothing, so no. Don't take the risk.

6 - Nobody.

1- When would you like to to Taker return?
In the months leading up to Wrestlemania.

2- When WILL he return?
In the months leading up top Wrestlemania.

3- Who will he have a rivalry with?
Triple H

4- Who will he face at Wrestlemania?
Triple H

5- Will the streak end?
No.

6- Who should end the streak (if it is going to end)?
There is no good answer to this because no one should end the streak. Several reasons for that, but one of the big ones is a simple business call:
No one cares about a DVD that says "19-1" whereas "20-0" will be a best-seller for years.
But if anyone should end it, it would have to be Kane. Only thing that would even remotely make sense. Not gonna happen though. Fortunately.
Should Taker put over a young up and rising star? No, usually that's the only true way to go out, definitely, but the Undertaker transcends that logic. There has never been a character like him. If he were to put over, say Cody Rhodes, it wouldn't do Rhodes any favors because the fans would shit all over him and the WWE for ruining a great thing. That would be the bad sort of heat, the one even heels don't want.

1- When would you like to to Taker return?

The rumor has it he will return at Vengeance.

2- When WILL he return?

I hope at Vengeance.

3- Who will he have a rivalry with?

Most likely Wade Barrett.

4- Who will he face at Wrestlemania?

I hope Mick Foley. I'm so sick of rematches in The Streak, be it with Henry, HHH, Orton, or Kane! Foley is returning for one last match and Vince will be damned if he ignores the last chance to do Taker vs Foley at Wrestlemania 28 AGAIN!!

5- Will the streak end?

Never.

6- Who should end the streak (if it is going to end)?

Santa Claus.

A.k.a no one.

I really hope its Mankind in a HIAC match....Man that would be epic.

If they got him in mind, they really need to tell Mick that because he said, hes not in shape right now and if the E were to ask him to face Taker at Mania he'd want to be in perfect shape.

Foley already said he's working out in the gym to better his stamina for a surprise in WWE. I hope it's really going to be Foley vs Taker at WM 28, be it in HIAC or anything. I find it moronic how Fole & Taker never had a WM match together but people like Henry, Gonzales, A-Train, and Boss Man had one with Taker. HHH & Taker got very little history with each other but got two.

StingvsUndertakerStreak.jpg

It isn't gonna be Cena who gives him 20 - 0. I was pretty sure it would be him but now that Cena has a huge program with The Rock who do you think gets to be Taker's opponent.

Has to be a very iconic or stellar present name. I would suggest bringing someone like Sting for it and create a nice 3 month program between the two from January. The more you think about it the more you want it to happen. Sure it borders on fantasy booking (and very well maybe) but if you think about it if Sting can ever be persuaded to enter into a WWE ring (even if it is to lose at the Grand Stage) it has to be this. This very well could be Taker's last match and to go up against a legend like Sting would be big money and a grand affair.

But a realistic choice could be Chris Jericho.

The man can create good beef with anyone and can still bring it in the ring. Will be good to see Chris Jericho and Taker lock up in what could be a classic.

Thoughts?

Well i would like to see sting face him. But i think its gonna be mark henry or mick foley, bc mick foley wants one more match to in wwe and why not vs the undertaker? Heres a good reason why, mick is indestructible in his matches with taker. Well he did lose but he can taker alot of takers punishment and dish it out too. We know how hbk did against taker but this is mick foley were talking bout. A man who has taken three 20 foot falls inside against oppenents he has faced in the past. He got thrown into the announcers table chokeslammed through the cell had the chair hit his head n send his tooth through his lip and got backdropped through the cell by the game. So taker would really have to do alo vs foley to beat him bc foley can take a beating like no one else. Mark henry vs taker mite be world title and henry is on a tear right now and would really be a good choice even though he would never ever beat the streak. Only other guy i can think of is the big show, bc he could say how u gonna beat me u cant lift me up for a tombstone and the chokeslam wont beat me.

After Wrestlemania 27 I was calling for Sheamus to be the next Undertaker WM opponent. However I'm not sure they would want to go that route as Sheamus is on a huge run right now and one of the most over faces in the company. If they want to go with the face route I'd have to say Randy Orton. Orton is a veteran and a guy with history with Undertaker. It also fits his cold character. Orton is great in the ring and will be able to carry the in ring load and not make Undertaker be in charge of carrying the match. Throw in the fact Orton is the next guy in line behind John Cena. If I had to give out another option it would be CM Punk. Punk is hot right now and what better way to prove that you are the best in the world than ending the Undertaker's historic streak. They would definitely be my top two for the huge opportunity.

it looks like WWE might be building up Mark Henry as Undertaker's WrestleMania XXVIII opponent but I would love it if Undertaker beat Mark Henry for the World Heavyweight title and then put over some new star at WrestleMania XXVIII.:)

It had to be either Randy Orton or CM Punk....
They both would seem to be legitimate threat to the streak, and i would prefer Orton as he is better than Punk IMO and can give Taker a great fight....
Jericho wouldn't do for me,and people saying Sting plz come on,it would suck IMO,....

Man I hope not Mark Henry....That would be such a let down of a match. Henry can only do so much. What made the past 3-4 Wrestlemania's awesome were 'Takers opponents being so versatile.

Punk's storyline with Vince/HHH et al could go until Wrestlemania....though that's probably not true because the 'E seems to be blowing through their storylines lately. So maybe Punk.

If they turn Sheamus back to heel, that would be a believable 20-0 match. Sheamus has beat a lot of top names. And it would be easy to turn him heel against uberface 'Taker. Couple chair shots and boom: Heel Sheamus.

Another interesting thought could be Miz with R-Truth in his corner. When was the last time Undertaker had anything but a one on one match for the streak? Having Truth out there trying to screw up the streak would be a great story, and make it even better than he was able to overcome dirty underhanded ways to pick up the 20th victory.

it has to be someone new and hes already faced orton and henry so id say mick foley or jericho. maybe cm punk too with the roll hes been on. its become a worthy type of thing to face taker at mania. its almost more anticipated than the title matches. be awesome to see taker go 20-0 ad end one of the greatest careers ever!

It is Mark Henry, thus why they are building him up so much. Sheamus is being pushed a s a major face, it wont be him. It wont be Jericho, he cannot come back after a coupole of years off and be expected to carry Undertaker to a watchable match. Wade Barrett is wirthless now, it wont be him. It wont be Sting. Barring injury, Undertaker vs Mark Henry is happening at Wrestlemania
