WWE SummerFest 2015 LD - "What do you mean I'm wrong?!"

So I'm I the only person who thought that finish was actually quite brilliant??

Can't speak for others, but as much as I don't mind the finish itself, it is more the fact that there is a Part 3 on the way that I dread more than anything.

One thing, how in the world did the time keeper ring the bell when he was on the other side of the action?

Fuck it would have made sense if the right arm of Taker was towards the timekeepers area, and the ref on the left side. How does the timekeeper have X Ray vision now?!

WHAT BRAND???

They're on a lowly rated reality show and are on WWE, which isn't exactly highly rated either. That's not a brand. It's what I've been getting at: they don't have a brand. They have a reality show and a few magazine covers because WWE gets them spots. When are the Bellas ever presented as major stars away from WWE? They're stars in the company's eyes and nowhere else.

Weren't they just nominated for a Kids Choice Award against Rousey of all people?

WHAT BRAND???

Just because something isn't as big as Nike doesn't mean it's not a brand.

They've done enough and linked up with the right people to brand them. They are the Bella Twins, stars of their own show (call it a lowly rated show but it's their lowly rated show) and constantly featured (one being champion) in the WWE. You know, the biggest wrestling promotion in America. I believe they were just nominated for a Teen's Choice Award in a singles category, as the Bella Twins. The only other team being the winners: the US Women's National Volleyball team. They've done enough and have enough little girls looking up to them, grown men hating them, and/or people in general following their movements so that the Bellas are a brand.

And that's why I'm looking into signing up to be a moose instead of a human.

Be sure to tell me how that goes, If you can. :lmao:

Very good show, all matches ranged from decent to great. The Tag Team, Cena/Rollins, Owens/Cesaro, and Taker/Lesnar (pleasant surprise) all delivered. I look forward to tomorrow night. Also, this can be stressed enough that the viewing experience is much better when you don't participate in the LD. It just sucks the enjoyment out of everything for some reason.

It does when they're not actually branding anything.

No. It's WWE's show, complete with Kevin Dunn as an executive producer. The Bellas are the stars and that's about it.

If little girls are looking up to them......good lord.

I can understand that and I feel the same way. At this point, the only way I'd even start to remotely get interested in another Lesnar/Taker match is if it were at the HITC ppv inside the HITC. Other than that, no thank you.

I don't particularly mind a 3rd match once it isn't kept for Mania 32.
However, that being said, I just think that both guys should move onto other opponents and stop these repeats that just get boring after a while.

I wouldn't mind Taker vs Sting at Survivor Series and then Taker vs Cena at Mania 32.
Lesnar, on the other, with his limited dates, should be used against some of the current guys, rather than repeating against Cena and Taker so often. Orton is one I'd love to see, then the likes of Owens and Rusev would be interesting also, so would the Wyatt family vs Brock-Heyman.

They're branding themselves.

Yeah that's the point. They're the stars, it revolves around them: The Bellas. Very few people know or care who's executively producing their favorite shows, unfortunately.

If little girls are looking up to them......good lord.

They both post pictures regularly on their Instagrams of little girls (and some big girls) wearing their shirts and other products.

I'd hope not. They look good enough without a ranch symbol on them.

I think they'll notice the WWE part.

Yeah.....that's not branding.

I quite liked Summerslam this year, New Day finally getting those belts back along with very excellent matches from Cena/Rollins (despite Steward telegraphing the ending horribly), Owens/Cesaro, and a surprisingly entertaining Brock/Taker match, I'd put it on an even level of NXT maybe slightly below. I fast forwarded through Sheamus/Orton and Ziggler/Rusev and the Divas match bored me to tears.

I'm watching the highlights of Cena vs. Rollins on Sportscenter. I don't know how to fathom this.

I can't wait for people to freak out over it. ESPN airs poker, darts, video games and fantasy football. If those things are eligible to be on ESPN, why not this?
