For the exposure they will receive. The WWE put two of the best young wrestlers in one of the highest profile matches to give these guys the exposure they wouldn't get in a standard one on one match.

If anyone told me Micheal Cole or the Miz would be more compelling to watch than the names listed after the '>' to me last year I would tell them they are crazy. But that is the truth for Wrestlemania to me this year. Orton Punk was so weak they had to use a out of nowhere injury angle to spice things up. Edge Del Rio is being overshadowed by Christian. HHH Taker has almost no build at all because they have to avoid mentioning the match 10 years ago.

A one on one match between these 2 would do nothing for them.

Being associated with a major celebrity instantly elevates the profile of the match above anything they could have imagined if it was a one on one contest.

They will get coverage outside of the wrestling world, which would not happen in a one on one match.
