WWE RAW LD 2/4/2012 - Hate; To Rise Above, or to Embrace?

FunKay the Inevitable

People Like Me, We Don't Play
LAST NIGHT!
He Truly Was The Great One!

The Rock and John Cena surpassed an entire year's worth of expectations from everyone around the world at WrestleMania XXVIII. But only one had his hand raised in victory Sunday night, and it was The Rock!

20-0, The Game is Over

With Shawn Michaels as referee, two of WWE's greatest legends, The Undertaker and Triple H, met inside Hell in a Cell in a bout that the WWE Universe will assuredly be talking about for years to come.

You Won't Like Me When I'm Angry...

Settling the debate as to who is really the best in the world, WWE Champion CM Punk and Chris Jericho went the distance in a WrestleMania instant classic, ultimately CM Punk was the victor via Anaconda Vice!

Mr. Excitement Takes the Cake

Raw and SmackDown now has ONE General Manager: John Laurinaitis! Team Johnny's band of Superstars pulled off the win at WrestleMania. Teddy Long's fate is now in the hands of "Mr. Excitement"!

A Final Countdown for Sure

Sheamus kicked off WrestleMania at Sun Life Stadium by defeating Daniel Bryan and becoming the new World Heavyweight Champion! He did so with only a mere 18 seconds on the clock also, taking advantage of Daniel Bryan's lack of focus.

The Super Fun, Hokey (Yet Hilarious) Hour (or Two)
Question-a-Thon!
Will John Cena be able to keep it together tonight following his devastating defeat?
Will the Rock continue to stand tall over Cena?
Will we hear from any of the trio involved in the "End of an Era" match?
Will a new challenger rise for CM Punk to face?
Will Chris Jericho remain as the main threat to the title?
Will the new "Era of Excitement" begin tonight?
Will Daniel Bryan comment on the near record-setting defeat at the hands of Sheamus?
Will we see Lord Tensai debut?
Oh, and we may see something BIG happen regarding WrestleMania XXIX!

Penis joke or brock lesnar?

I'm leaning toward the former.

Can't I take a big penis while having Brock Lesnar F5 someone out of their shoes?

Seriously though, I know most are half expecting it, but if he shows up tonight the entire fanbase of professional wrestling will go fucking insane. It won't even be funny.

I will actually be surprised if "he" shows up. Reason being that the amount of people that expect him makes me think they won't veer that way just yet...I'm waiting to be wrong though.

I doubt he shows up, but it's fun as hell to speculate. Too much shit going on for Brock simply to show up. There has to be some sort of temporary closure for Rock v. Cena tonight, seeing as Rock isn't booked to be on Raw from here on out.

However, no one saw Goldberg coming the night after Mania 19, so you never know. I'll probably shit my pants if it does happen. More money would be on Prince Albert, er, the A-Train, er, Matt Bloom, er that guy showing up.

This is what I was saying Saturday in a Lesnar thread, but I hope on sweet Odlin's Raven that both you and I are incorrect.

I guess the one thing we can use in comparison, there was way more going on the night after Wrestlemania 19 and look who showed up that night? It isn't likely the "Big Thing" will show, but if he does I will F5 my television set out of pure markism.

There's lots of guys hanging around at the moment; Lesnar, Tensai, Batista. It certainly does raise some compelling questions. I'mma try to be here tonight.

I will be watching RAW live due to sleeping in the same room as the TV for once, but whether I'm here during the show is another thing.

I might be, we'll see. If not, I'll come and fangirl with you afterwards.

It's time for Tastycles to feel the pain! Lesnar versus Orton in an hour long iron man match! No JTG appearances!

Man, fuck. I don't have cable anymore and I have class for the first hour. This just set in on me.

Fuck it, I'll forgo my education for wrestling. It's what Jesus would want.

Tonight will be pivotal. Given what they set themselves up with last night, they absolutely ought to intimate the heel turn for Cena tonight. They shouldn't rush it or anything, but plant the seed.

Hoping for some suggestion of a Punk/Jericho rematch, but Jericho posted on Twitter that it was "time to move on", so that's questionable. I'd love to see them go at it in a ladder match at Extreme Rules or something.

I'd pay whatever to see a Jericho vs. Punk Ironman match. I'd probably remove my right testicle for it to be totally honest.

Tell me about it, but I think that's way too much to hope for. I'll settle for the ladder match.

But hey, maybe they'll realize what they've got on their hands.

Compelling question like:

-If I'm Dolph Ziggler, Cody Rhodes, Del Rio, Christian, Ryder etc, my career is fucked isn't it?

As much as all those guys hanging around would be "cool to see", I do question how all of this isn't essentially like 1998 WCW. Short term you'll get a spike in interest but you might just be fucking yourself long term because guys who are on the cusp of being great and maybe even surpassing some of those older guys will either have to wait longer for their chance or accept the fact that they may never get it. Unfortunately for them, it's not 1998 so there's not really another viable place to go and be a big star. Apologies to TNA but it's true.
