Hexagonal Hedonist
Cena's in-ring stuff was solid, despite that terrible ghetto accent he insists on bringing back. That promo he cut in the stands was downright laughable. Cheesiest, corniest piece of shit I've seen in a long, long time. Reminds me why I'm not a fan of his. Then again, his in-ring stuff worked.
Rock's taped segments were hilarious, but he was weak in the ring. I believe that's how he's supposed to be playing it (hoping to split the crowd come Mania time), but I can't be positive.
Rock's still better.
That promo he cut in the stands was indeed terrible but it appeared to work or something. I could tell he was a poser as soon as he said the greatest heartbreak in Boston sports history was the Patriots going 18-1 but apparently the people there fell for the man of the people schtick. Nevermind that Cena is a Floridian himself now that wears Tampa Bay jerseys.
The harbor promo was awesome. I thought what they both did in the ring worked. I don't think Rock was weak in the ring he was just selling the you can't phase me thing. Cena was dicking around his whole promo and Rock never even blinked. The jersey shore line was a great one but I laughed quite a bit when Cena did his crowd jump.
The thing I don't get about what Cena is saying is he keeps saying he wants the Rock but then complains about vintage Rock promos. I was following him until that. I thought going back to the wrist bit didn't really work. When you do something that well the week before, if you go right back to it, the material better be good or it cheapens the effect of what you had done before. Cena's wife was less attractive than I would have expected so I took off points for that.
This Undertaker-HHH with HBK thing is going to have a shitty ending unless it becomes a triple threat which I find unlikely.
