TNA's Impact Wrestling television taping in Peoria, IL this week. I will be writing out a full live report from the event, but for now here are some *SPOILERS* from next week's episode of Impact Wrestling.

TNA Impact Wrestling (6/27)
Peoria, IL

-Taryn Terrell got an impressive win over Tara in the dark match, which I believe was a taping for TNA Xplosion.

X-Division Championship
-Suicide def. Chris Sabin & Kenny King to become the new TNA X-DIvision Champion.

-After the match, Suicide celebrated with the title as Kenny King left and Sabin looked on in frustration. Hulk Hogan then came out, with a smaller fellow named T.J. Perkins. He announced that Perkins was the man behind the Suicide mask, but he was assaulted before Impact went on the air, and whoever is wearing the colors and holding the title now is an impostor. Suicide takes off into the crowd with the title.

-Sting came down and talked about turning the tables against Aces & Eights with his new family, which brings on Kurt Angle. Angle talks about how the Main Event Mafia used to be about honor and glory and gold, and doing whatever they wanted, whenever they wanted. But that seems to be the stance of Aces & Eights now. Sting announces that by the end of the night, we'll have another member to the family.

Gut Check Challenge

For the life of me I can't remember the names of the two challengers. The loser was a smaller guy with a rock star gimmick, who came out with an electric guitar and played about a one-minute solo before actually getting to the ring. The other guy was much bigger, with no shenanigans. They worked a pretty decent match, I thought, with the bigger guy coming out on top.

TNA Knockouts Championship
-Mickie James def. Velvet Sky to retain. James worked over the injured knee, which was apparently not at ready-to-compete status. After the match, Christey tried to get a few words with her, but she was crying and I couldn't understand anything she was attempting to say.

-Magnus def. Bobby Roode in a Bound for Glory series match. A surprising upset victory, with the crowd pretty solidly behind Magnus.

-Samoa Joe def. Ken Anderson in a Bound for Glory series match. Two guys from Aces & Eights tried to interfere, and Anderson actually managed to get in a low blow with the ref distracted, but Sting and Kurt Angle came down to make the save. After the match, Joe embraced Sting and Angle and they celebrated in the ring together, using the Main Event Mafia hand signs.

-Hulk Hogan came down to a ridiculous reaction, and called out Suicide. Suicide came down but refused to take off his mask. Bully Ray then cut them off, and said he didn't care who was under the mask, because he should stop worry about doing the "right thing" and do the smart thing; walk away before he gets hurt. Suicide actually took the mic, and started talking about being in darkness, and coming into the light - standard cryptic Suicide promo, that was quite cheesy. However, he started reverting back to a normal voice, and told Bully that the real question is, "do you know who I am?" Suicide said that he was the man who defeated Bully Ray before. He was the man who cashed in the X-Division title to become World Champion. Suicide took off his mask to reveal himself as....Austin Aries! Aries said he was going to cash in the title again, and for the second time become World Heavyweight Champion.

Impact ended with Bully and Hogan looking shocked, and then the two champions staring each other down.

I don't mind the Shield losing this match to the Uso's and Christian as its not necessarily gonna be remembered but it's just gonna make the Shield look capable of losing on PPV(which they won't).

Look at all of the dream teams that they beat, but then they lose to the Usos and Christian? No one's going to ignore that.

That Smackdown Mitb is... I don't even know the word. Dean Ambrose is the only one there I want to see in the title picture.

Pretty much this. Though Fandango winning would be a nice middle finger.

This seems more a representation of how the Shield is going to be booked; they're going to be booked like everyone else, like Damien Sandow, like Cody Rhodes, etc.

Winning those belts may be the worst thing WWE's done with the Shield; now they're slotted in the card

So, the WWE champ is a face and the WWE MITB has all faces. WHC is a heel and the WHC MITB has all heels.

Weird:shrug:.

I'm legitimately excited. Any of these guys moving up would be cool to see as it's something new.
