SmackDown, Airing Friday:

* SmackDown opens with Alberto Del Rio. He wants to see General Manager Booker T and wants his World Heavyweight Title match back on for SummerSlam. He's interrupted by Booker T and then Chris Jericho. Jericho wants the title shot at SummerSlam and it's Del Rio vs. Jericho in tonight's main event.

* Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara beat The Miz and Cody Rhodes. Mysterio hit another 619 on The Miz after the match and had a staredown.

* Tyler Reks and Curt Hawkins come out with a new look, something like a male stripper. They defeat two local wrestlers.

* Backsage segment with Eve Torres and William Regal.

* Eve beat Kaitlyn to become Booker's assistant.

* Randy Orton beat Daniel Bryan.

* Triple H comes out and hits a Pedigree on Bryan for a non-camera segment.

* Antonio Cesaro dominated Zack Ryder.

* Dolph Ziggler attacks Chris Jericho before his match. Alberto Del Rio beats Chris Jericho. They beatdown Jericho after the match until Sheamus makes the save. Booker T calms things down and Sheamus vs. Del Rio for SummerSlam is back on.

- Kenny King has indeed signed a contract with TNA. Mason Andrews, formerly known as Scorpio Sky, is rumored to have signed but he's been denying the reports. The contracts are per-appearance deals and not weekly guarantees. TNA is signing new talents to beef up the X Division.

- Jeff Hardy's contract with TNA expires in February 2013. Hardy, who is by far TNA's top merchandise seller, is described by nearly everyone as having made an amazing turnaround and it's said that he's always clear-headed at the TNA shows.

For what it's worth, some independent wrestling promoters have been told that dates with Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy would be able to be booked in February.

- ODB and Eric Young are now the longest reigning TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions with 168 days as champions. The two haven't had a match as a tag team since Lockdown in April.

- As reported earlier this week, the woman portraying Claire Lynch—purportedly pregnant with AJ Styles' child—on Impact Wrestling is Julia Reilly, an Orlando, Florida-based actress and model. She is 36-years-old and has 15 years of acting experience. TNA Wrestling held an audition a few months ago for the role and she was chosen because she resides in Orlando, where Impact is taped, which saves them money on airfare.

WrestlingNewsWorld.com says they were informed that Reilly also works at Universal Studios Orlando—where Impact is taped—as Olive Oyl by the theme park's "Popeye" ride. It is something Reilly has tried to conceal—she did not list it in her resume, which she deleted last week after her identity was revealed online.

* Randy Orton opens SmackDown and talks about what happened on RAW. Orton wants a shot at the World Heavyweight Title and issues a challenge if anyone has a problem with that. Sheamus comes out to a big pop. Sheamus agrees that Orton should get a title shot. This brings Alberto Del Rio out, who also wants a title shot. Booker T appears and books Orton vs. Del Rio with the winner facing Sheamus.

* Ryback vs. Jinder Mahal is up next. Ryback cuts a promo on Mahal before the match.

Lilian Garcia kicks things off and gets a nice reaction from the crowd.

* Teddy Long is the announcer with Michael Cole since Josh Mathews is out this week.

* Backstage segment with Dolph Ziggler and Vickie Guerrero arguing with Sheamus, who dares Ziggler to cash in tonight.

* Sheamus beat Dolph Ziggler by DQ after getting hit with the briefcase. Ziggler continues the attack and goes to cash in his title shot but Sheamus gets back up and Dolph leaves.

* Santino Marella comes out and talks about his reign as United States Champion but is interrupted by new champion Antonio Cesaro and Aksana. Santino attacks Cesaro but Aksana distracts the Cobra. Cesaro ends it by laying Santino out.

* Backstage segment with Del Rio yelling at Ricardo.

* Kofi Kingston and R-Truth defeat Epico and Primo.

* Matt Striker is backstage with Kofi and Truth. Titus O'Neil and Darren Young show up as do The Usos and Primo and Epico to start a big brawl.

* Booker and Teddy are backstage talking about the tag title scene when Eve comes in. She has done research on the next contenders and has everything organized. Booker is impressed.

* A Wade Barrett video airs.

New York City-based radio DJ Peter Rosenberg (Hot 97) has conducted exclusive interviews with all of WWE's top superstars and spoke with boxing champion and WrestleMania 24 celebrity Floyd Mayweather this morning. Mayweather spoke about his close relationship with Triple H, a potential dream fight with Manny Pacquiao and dropped the bombshell news that he will be appearing at WrestleMania 29 from the Met Life Stadium in NY/NJ next April.

Mayweather talked about his past experience working with (ie. breaking the nose of) Big Show and told Rosenberg, "I'm about to go back to the WWE." When pressed for a follow-up, he clarified: "WrestleMania."

He repeated, "WrestleMania. I'll be back."

Arianne Andrew, who appears as Cameron for WWE, one of Brodus Clay’s "Funkadactyls," has been suspended by the sports-entertainment organization for fifteen days, reports F4WOnline.com. Her suspension expires on Sept. 14.

Andrew was arrested and charged with driving under the influence on Aug. 24 in N. Hillsborough County, Florida. According to the police report, the WWE Diva blew a 0.20, more than twice the legal limit in Florida. She compounded the matter by attempting to bribe the arresting officer with $10,000 to "let her go because she would lose her job." She also did not notify WWE officials of her run-in with the law prior to the news story surfacing online. A company spokesman told TMZ.com, "Ariane [Cameron] did not alert us to this matter, we are investigating and will take appropriate action."

Andrew flew with the Raw roster to Australia last week for their live event tour of the country. After appearing at Thursday's show in Brisbane, she did not appear at Friday's event in Sydney, when her suspension went into effect, nor Saturday's show in Melbourne.

SmackDown, Airing Friday:

* SmackDown opens with Alberto Del Rio and David Otunga coming out. Ricardo Rodriguez is trailing and he's in a neck brace. They want action taken against Sheamus for hitting Ricardo Rodriguez with a Brogue Kick on RAW. They want the kick banned in WWE. GM Booker T comes out and says he wants to put it in the hands of the fans. They vote that the kick should remain legal. Del Rio throws a fit and Booker has something planned for them later.

* Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara beat Cody Rhodes and The Miz when Cody accidentally hit Miz with a Disaster Kick.

* Comedy segment with Hornswoggle stomping on Daniel Bryan's foot before running away.

* Zack Ryder vs. Daniel Bryan is up next. They hugged before the bell. Bryan won with the No Lock but wouldn't break the hold so the referee reversed his decision. Bryan continued to lose his temper.

* Damien Sandow comes out and starts ripping on Randy Orton. Orton comes out and reveals that Booker T has put the two in a match.

* Randy Orton beat Damien Sandow by count out with Dolph Ziggler coming out for commentary. Sandow ended up rolling out of the ring and running away for the count out. Ziggler attacked and Orton brawled with him. Sandow ran back down and caught an RKO while Ziggler ran off.

* David Otunga storms into Booker T's office and still wants the Brogue Kick to be banned. Booker makes Otunga vs. Sheamus for tonight.

* Titus O'Neil and Darren Young beat Primo and Epico to become the new #1 contenders. WWE Tag Team Champions R-Truth and Kofi Kingston were on commentary.

* Backstage interview with Wade Barrett.

* Barrett came out to big heel heat and beat Yoshi Tatsu in a squash. Barrett cut a promo after the match.

* Sheamus beat David Otunga in the main event with Alberto Del Rio watching from ringside. Booker T came out before the end and banned the Brogue Kick. Sheamus argued with Del Rio and they mixed it up but he still got the win.
