Don't hate on my man Delberto. He may be boring to most but Sheamus isn't exactly Mr. Excitement either. I wouldn't be surprised if Del Rio won the title. He probably needs to.

I avoid Smackdown for the most part save for one or two matches on a PPV. I understand that Sheamus has to work a match, but I'd rather see him work with someone who doesn't suck the fucking life out of the show.

Then again, I don't even know who's available right now. It seems like they could be giving some new heels a push rather than trying to push the dude that already failed miserably despite having one of the heaviest pushes ever.

I've wanted to be a fan of Sheamus but he just don't interest me in the slightest in the mic or in the ring. With Del Rio as champ, he can go up against Orton, Christian, or Mysterio. The only reason I've seen from people who don't want another Del Rio/Mysterio feud is that it's been done to death. They've only really feuded once and it's not like we have had other matches that have been done to death.

Del Rio is getting these shots because WWE has decided that he's going to get the push and no matter how boring he is, we'll watch it and we'll like it, period.

They haven't been real keen to pushing anybody else lately so I'll take what I can get. If they really wanted to, they could have had Rhodes currently in the position Del Rio's in. He's been stagnant for the longest time and I don't see signs of him moving up anytime soon. Problem is that all the midcarders constantly lose so wins don't mean as much, especially champions.

Effective immediately, John Laurinaitis is resigning from his position as Senior Vice President of Talent Operations. Following his very public firing at June’s No Way Out, Laurinaitis continued to work behind-the-scenes in his corporate role. After eight years of service in talent relations, he’s “burned out” and now hopes to concentrate on what he knows best: putting together matches and working with WWE talent as a producer.

- Laurinaitis' power behind-the-scenes has been weakening with Triple H having his people running most aspects of WWE's talent relations department. Triple H has not been a big supporter of Laurinaitis, which led to his reduced role in the department, according to The Wrestling Observer newsletter.

- Randy Orton is backstage at the Raw taping from the US Bank Arena in Cincinnati, Ohio. Orton is set to officially return to the company tonight, Mike Johnson of PWInsider reports.
