Brian Pillman vs. Tajiri
During the week leading up to tonights event, it was announced on PWF.com that Brian Pillmans opponent tonight is Tajiri. Both will wrestle tonight to gain a spot in the Cruiserweight championship match next week against last weeks winner, Dean Malenko.
Both men meet in the centre of the ring, standing toe to toe. Once the bell rings, both men lock up which leads to Tajiri to the ropes. Upon hitting them, Tajiri manages to hit a Handspring back elbow, taking both men off their feet. It doesn't take long for both men to make it to their feet, once again locking up. Pillman delivers a series of chops, forcing Tajiri into the corner. Pillman goes for the ten punches atop the turnbuckle, though upon a fifth punch, he's pushed off onto the mat, landing flat on his back. Both competitors spend the next portion of the match trading a series of high-impact moves, which leads to Pillman hitting a succession of flying cross bodies and standing dropkicks. When it looked like it was all over for Tajiri when Pillman went for a Modified cross armbar, he managed to wriggle out the submission, out of nowhere spitting his Asian mist directly into the eyes of Pillman. With the referee looking concerned, he gets in the face of Tajiri, warning him that such a dirty tactic will earn him a disqualification next time. By the time Tajiri turns round, Pillman's made it to his feet resting on the ropes, where he manages to hit his finishing manoeuvre Air Pillman. He then applies a modified cross armbar where Tajiri gives his all trying to make it to the ropes, but gives in to Pillman's submission.
Winner: Brian Pillman

Mr. Perfect makes his way to the ring, unannounced, wearing his street clothes. Upon entering the ring, he stares down the crowd, grinning with microphone in hand.
Mr. Perfect: Last week, I was screwed out of my Intercontinental championship. The referee screwed me. Just watch the tape, that was a fast count. Ricky, you didn't earn that championship last week. I know what you're like. You'll go to any length to win. I have it on good word that you paid that damn referee to pull a fast count on me.
A short pause ensues, where the crowd proceed to boo Mr. Perfect.
Mr. Perfect: Now, Ricky, I want me rematch. And I want it tonight!
Shane McMahon's music hits the arena, slowly makes his way to the entrance ramp. The crowd is hot.
Shane McMahon: Mr. Perfect, I've had enough of this. All week, you've been calling me, begging me for this rematch. And quite honestly, I don't think you deserve it. After reviewing the tape numerous times, in slow motion and fast motion, I've come to the conclusion that it wasn't a fast count at all. But, in the interest of fairness, I'll give you a match tonight. You win; you get your title match against Ricky Steamboat next week. You lose, you quit your whining and you will never receive a Intercontinental title shot again here at PWF.
Mr. Perfect looks on, content with McMahon's decisions. The camera cuts to a commercial.

Terry Funk vs. Smash
After last weeks brutal beat down, Terry Funk has been placed in yet another match with a member of Demolition. As this rivalry continues, will Funk finally get a win in the era of Demolition Domination?
The match starts off slow paced, Smash taking control. This week, he clearly has the advantage, as Funk is still fighting off the effects from last weeks attack. Lots of chops and clotheslines are traded between the two men, until Funk gains control after a devastating brainbuster. The hardcore legend works on the upper body with numerous DDT's and sleeper holds. The other half of Demolition, Ax, makes his way to ringside, an obvious distraction. He cheers on Ax, who by now has regained control of the match. Funk is thrown to the outside, and with Smash distracting the referee, gives Ax a chance to lay in a few shots. Funk manages to overcome them, and sends him through the barrier. The referee manages to lose control once Windham makes his way to ringside, laying a beat down on a helpless Funk. All three men attack him until they're split up by officials, once again leaving Funk in a bloody heap.
Winner: Terry Funk by DQ
It was announced later that night that Funk has challenged Demolition to a tag-team match next week, promising a surprise partner, guaranteeing victory.

Mr. Perfect vs. ???
Earlier tonight, it was announced by Shane McMahon that in order for Mr. Perfect to get a rematch for the Intercontinental championship, he would have to faced an unnamed opponent. An added stipulation was announced that if Mr. Perfect loses his match tonight, he will never get another Intercontinental title show during his tenure in PWF.
After Mr. Perfect makes his way to the ring, he waits around anxiously, until the music of none other than The Beast from The East Bam Bam Bigelow!
The former World Champion, Bam Bam Bigelow makes his way to the ring, thudding his chest, clearly pumped up and happy to be here. Bigelow controls the first portion of the match with his array of power moves gorilla press slams, powerboms, vertical suplexes. He spent most time working on the back of Perfect, which showed when Perfect went to hit his Perfectplex, with his backing giving in, sending him down to the mat. Once Perfect regained control of the match, he unleashed his arsenal of submission moves, clearly looking to work on the limbs of Bigelow. After numerous attempts to make Bigelow submit failed, he made his way to the outside, grabbing a chair. Instantly, the referee notices this, forcefully knocking the chair out of his hand. This gives Perfect a perfect opportunity to hit a low blow, which sets up nicely for the Perfectplex. Successfully, he hits it. But upon hitting the ground, the pain evidently got to Perfect who by now was writhing around the mat. This gave Bigelow the chance to recover, able to make a pin, but to no avail.
The match carried on in Bigelows favour, until Bobby Heenan makes a surprise appearance, seemingly at the aid of Perfect. Upon his entrance, he distracts Bigelow, giving Perfect enough time to make it to his feet, attacking Bigelow from behind, and once again hitting a Perfectplex. This time he manages the three count. Upon winning, Heenan enters the ring, raising the hand of Perfect. While it seems Perfect has chosen Heenan to stay by his side, he looks in agony on his way up to the ramp. Will he be in perfect condition for next weeks championship match?
Winner: Mr. Perfect

Chris Benoit vs. Kurt Angle
After last weeks controversies, both Kurt Angle and Sting have been placed in separate matches. For them to advance forward to earn a World Heavyweight title shot, both men will meet an opponent. This week, Kurt Angle will be in action against Chris Benoit. The winner of this match will advance forward to week number four, where they will face the winner of next weeks match, which will feature Sting and an unnamed opponent. These two winners will then face off at the fourth pay-per-view. The winner of that match will go on to receive a World Heavyweight title shot against Bret Hart at the fifth and final pay-per-view, in a match of Bret Hart's choosing.
Both men, who have met many times before, stare each other down, knowing whats in store. The action starts when punches are traded, followed up by some heavy chop shots by Chris Benoit. Suplexes follow, with both men dishing out a violent assault of fast, high-impact German suplexs. Benoit gets the better of Angle when he manages to hit him with a devastating piledriver, leaving Angle temporarily dazed. With Angle on the mat, Benoit follows up with a Crippler Crossface attempt, but its cut short when Angle manages to make it to the ropes.
Benoit carries on working the neck of Angle, exploiting his previous injuries. A superplex follows, after which Benoit proceeds to make his way to the top rope, looking for a Diving headbutt. The manoeuvre is cut short when Angle makes it to his feet, charges Benoit and hits him with a overhead belly to belly takeover. This gives Angle a chance to recuperate and make his way to his feet. Angle controls the next portion of the match, working the legs and ankles of Benoit, clearly weakening him for his submission finale.
When the match comes to a close, its Angle who manages to get the better of Benoit. After reversing the Crippler Crossface, Angle had Benoit in the middle of the ring, snapping his Ankle which by now had suffered enormous damage. Benoit, in a weakened state, gave all he had to fight it off, but in the end was unsuccessful. Angle proceeds to win the match by submission, thus advancing to face the winner of next weeks match.
Winner: Kurt Angle

Bret Hart vs. Ricky Steamboat
It was announced at the beginning of tonights show that both the Heavyweight Champion and Intercontinental champion would meet in the ring tonight to prepare for future title defences. No titles will be on the line in this match.
With both participants in the ring, the bell sounds. A series of punches and chops are traded between both men, neither gaining a clear advantage. Steamboat winds up hitting a neck breaker slam, leaving Bret open for Steamboat to lock in a double chickenwing. Bret manages to escape with little struggle, realising tonights match isnt going to be an easy one. Hart takes it to Steamboat, hitting a perfect bulldog, followed by a pendulum backbreaker. Hart remains on the offence, managing to lock in several sharpshooters, all resulting in rope breaks.
Bret makes it is goal to take out Steamboats legs, even applying a figure four leg lock using the ring post to utilize more pressure. With no clear sign of giving up, Hart works on the back, hitting several snap suplexs, resulting in a failed superplex attempt. Steamboat counters, and hits a diving crossbody off the top rope. The match carries on fast paced, with no clear sign of a winner. Steamboat even applies a sharpshooter on Hart, who successfully makes it to the ropes.
The match sadly comes to a quick end when Mr. Perfect makes a run to the ring, attacking Steamboat. While Perfect lays a beat down, Hart grabs a chair from ringside and proceeds to hit Perfect with it over the head. Both Hart and Steamboat attack Perfect, but he manages to make it to the outside of the ring and head to the back. Hart then raises the hand of Steamboat as a sign of respect, as both men hug and shake hands.
