UWF: Mock Draft V

Regarding the trade, I really had nothing significant planned for Jericho, I dont think Sam had anything for HHH, so the trade made alot of sense.

Indeed. I thought it was pretty even trade too. Triple H is a bigger name, but Jericho is a more versatile talent.

UWE is back and it is Main Event time......

The music of Randy Orton hits, he walks out to more massive heat, then the music of HHH hits to a pop from the crowd.

The match gets started with HHH gaining the early upper hand, backing Orton into the corner and unloading some right hands on Orton. HHH then throws Orton into the opposite turnbuckle, charges, but Orton reverses with an elbow to the face of HHH, then hits a huge clothesline. Orton takes control of the match for the next several minutes, targeting HHH's entire body. After several minutes of control Orton goes to throw HHH into the turnbuckle, but HHH reverses it and sends Orton into the turnbuckle, HHH runs at him again, but Orton again moves HHH crashes into the corner and then Orton nails him with an inverted backbreaker, Orton goes for the pin, 1-2-no HHH kicks out. Orton now sets up for an RKO, he goes for it, but HHH pushes him away and Orton goes crashing to the mat back first, Orton gets up, him and HHH start trading punches, HHH gains the upper hand knocking Orton to the ground. HHH throws Orton into the ropes and catches him with a knee to the face. HHH know awaits on Orton, Orton gets up and is met by a spinebuster by HHH, HHH goes for the pin, 1-2-no Orton kicks out. Now HHH looks for the pedigree, HHH kicks Orton in the gut, goes for it, but Orton reverses it and flips HHH over with a back body drop. HHH gets up and is met by a huge clothesline from Orton, Orton now picks up HHH and sets him up on the ropes and nails a huge DDT, goes for a pin 1-2-no HHH kicks out. Now Orton is awaiting on HHH, looking for the RKO, as HHH starts to stir suddenly The Rock hits the ring, he takes out the ref with a huge clothesline, Orton sees him and charges at him, The Rock ducks Ortons clothesline attempt, and nails him with a Rock Bottom when Orton turns around, now HHH starts to get up, as he gets up The Rock nails him with a spinebuster. The Rock then bounces off the ropes and nails a People's Elbow on the game.

Winner-No Contest

The crowd goes crazy, its total chaos, we dont have a winner, what does this mean for Orton and HHH's potential title shot, how does The Rock fit in, when will we get answers?

With that UWE goes off the air.......with many questions to be answered.

Batista and Konnan, now that is a man who didn't draft his own roster, wanting to make massive changes and to think he is one vote out of first place, imagine what will happen with a roster he likes, I have a sense we might all be in trouble, big time.

Can I help it if I'm smart? lol

I guess not, but that was my plan, oh well, what do I care, I guess if you thought thats what I should do, then my idea was pretty good. I wasn't putting either of the guys in the Title match because I already wrote the Eddie/Rey match, I needed to get HHH involved so that was the easiest way to do it.

Now I need to get Batista involved in something, probably will implement him into were I was going to use Jericho, then I was going to use Daniels there, now I will probably put Batista in that spot. I might have my card posted by the end of the week.

Honestly I was down after the voting process, I didn't think my second show was very good, but with these trades I like my show alot better now, not that I got the better deal, I just had nothing for Y2J, after he was pinned in the Title match, he couldn't get another shot and I was never sure how to use Daniels, so that was hurting me, I think I have a solid card for my second show now and hopefully I will get more votes for it.

We will see, I still think no matter what I do it will be tough to beat Moses or Sam, Moses because he as the perfect IWF roster and Sam because he is Sam, but I am going to give it a shot, I liked my first show, but didn't really use any of my prime matchups, my next show will be better I think, I should get more votes, I hope.

Main Event
IPW World Heavyweight Championship

- Brock Lesnar © vs. The Undertaker w/ Paul Bearer

IPW Heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar has beaten everybody in his way, from CM Punk to Kurt Angle to Triple H. He's also faced The Undertaker before. He hasn't, however, faced the deadman nor the Phenom who put a broken Triple H through hell in a cell. He hasn't the faced the man who claims this will be Lesnar's last title defense. With his manager, Paul Bearer, and the legendary urn at his side, how can this version of The Undertaker be stopped? If anybody knows, it'll be the world champion.

Three Stages of Hell Match
1: Singles Match
2: Submission Match
3: Steel Cage Match

- Chris Jericho vs. Christopher Daniels

Chris Jericho made yet another spectacular return to professional wrestling with his IPW debut following his departure from Vince McMahon's UWE. However, CM Punk and Mr. Kennedy weren't the only two looking to still make their names. Another former UWE talent, the Fallen Angel Christopher Daniels, debuted alongside him and, after some harsh words, challenged him to a match at Breakdown. Jericho cheerily accepted, running his mouth about how he needed someone to make an example of anyway. Daniels was irate, and had easily-swayed GM Paul Heyman attach the unforgiving stipulation to the match. One man will be the example.

IPW Tag Team Championship
Ladder Match

- America’s Most Wanted © vs. The Hardy Boyz

On the same night that the Hardys overcame the odds to capture the no. 1 contenders spot, AMW rode theirs to yet another set of tag titles. Now it comes down to one of the most anticipated tag matches ever. An AMW/Hardys encounter would be hot enough, but that wasn't enough in IPW, oh no! With the tag titles on the line, this brutal battle would be a ladder match. Undoubtedly, there'll be thrills and spills, blood and broken bones, the sacrifice of their own bodies for the sake of wearing the gold around their waists.

===

- CM Punk vs. Mr. Kennedy

CM Punk was on the verge of capturing the world heavyweight championship at Taken, champion Brock Lesnar locked into the Anaconda Vise. He got the win alright, due to a DQ caused by a vicious beatdown at the hands of the Green Bay Loudmouth, Mr. Kennedy, who went on to claim that if someone like Punk deserved a title shot, so did he. After all, he was a hot, rising star too; far hotter than Punk, apparently. Punk managed to teach him somewhat of a lesson in the ring, before Kennedy fled, that is. Now it comes down to the two to settle the score and there will be no escape for either man.

Non-Title Match

Taz © vs. Rhino

Television Champion Taz and War Machine/Man-beast Rhino were both coming off their own personal victories; Rhino's battering of the now departed Batista was not a traditional victory due to a disqualification ruled against him, but it still added to an already impressive reputation for his brutal, animalistic qualities. Likewise, Taz added to the regrowth of his impressive reputation with a choke out victory against the debuting Rob Van Dam with the Tazmission. Impressed with the work of two men he knew so well, GM Paul Heyman declared a friendly match between them, which he expected would be much less than friendly.

Elimination Tag Match

- Sabu & Rob Van Dam vs. The Briscoe Bros. vs. The Latin American Xchange w/ Konnan

These men all had something in common: they all lost at Taken. LAX lost their Ultimate X Match against the Hardy Boyz despite considerable advantages. The Briscoes Brothers lost their tag titles in a spectacular Bar Room Brawl. Sabu and RVD lost their respective matches against Low Ki and Taz. They also had another thing in common - they all wanted revenge. Heyman, sensing an opportunity, decided not to solve the situation, but instead to exacerbate it. They'd all have to fight for their reputations in an elimination tag match and would be rewarded...on the condition that they put on a good enough show.

Card may be subject to change.

Are we going to get to hear the backstory behind these matches, or are we simply supposed to be wowed by the matchups you've created?

Ok, just wondering. Cuz if you want that little extra edge over Matt, you're probably gonna have to out-hype him. Really build the expectations.

I've added a bit of backstory to the first three matches (edited in). I'll finish it for all the matches and write in some segments for some bigger matches over the next week. Remember, shows aren't due this Sunday, but the next.

UWE is back on the air, The Rocks music hit, he comes out to an enormous pop from the crowd, walks to the ring, grabs a mic....

"Finally The Rock has come back to San Diego. And The Rock has come out here to answer questions, all week people have been asking, why Rock? Why interfere in the Main Event? Well the answer to that is pretty simple, you see last week The Rock was backstage, thinkig about how that jabroni Randy Orton cost him the UWE Title, he was backstage watching that same man try to earn a title shot for himself. And then The Rock decided that that was not going to happen. The Rock got up, he walked out to the ring, he layed out the ref, he layed out Randy Orton, he layed out HHH and for one reason, that is because if anybody deserves a UWE Title shot it is me, The Rock." The music of HHH hits, he walks to the ring and grabs a mic.

"Whats up Rock, so you think you deserve a title shot do you, well let me tell you something you had your shot and you didn't win the title. Randy Orton had a chance to get in the UWE Title match at Awakening and failed to qualify, but me HHH, The Game, I have been traded to UWE, I have never had a UWE Title shot, so it is my turn, that title shot should be mine." Then the music of Randy Orton hits, he walks out onto the entrance stage, with mic in hand.

"Now hold on one second, neither of you desereve a title shot, I do, I have earned it. Rock you had your shot at Vengence, and you lost, maybe it was due to some unfortunate events for you, but you did not win the title. HHH, what have you dont to desereve a shot, you cant simply come here and get a shot, this is not WWE, it is an even playing field around here. And last week i had you beat HHH until our match was interrupted. I was about to hit you with an RKO and that was going to be it. So obviously if anybody desereve's s title shot, its me, The Legend Killer, Randy Orton." Vince McMahon appears on the titantron.

"Well, well, well, what do we have here. I must say I am not surprised, it seems like every week one or all of you are out here claiming you deserve a title shot. You see last week I thought I had this solved, but thanks to you Rock, it has not been solved. So what am I to do, what is the boss to do, well I have an idea, I am going to once again try to make a match, in which the winner will become the Number One Contender for the UWE Title. So, at UWE's second PPV Redeption, it will be The Rock vs. Randy Orton vs. HHH, in a Triple Threat match, with the winner becoming the Number One Contender for the UWE Title."

After that announcement all three men look satisfied, then The Rock and HHH turn to each other and start to stare down, suddenly they start exchanging punches, The Rock gains the upper hand, knocking The Game out of the ring with a big right hand, Randy Orton has made his way into the ring, he goes for an RKO on The Rock, but the Rock reverses it and nails a huge Rock Bottom. HHH has made his way back into the ring, when The Rock turns around he is nailed by a pedigree from HHH. Orton and The Rock are down, HHH is left standing tall this week, but what will happend at Redeption, who will walk out the new Number One Contender?

I am going to post my card, I have some reviews for the matches on how they came about, but will wait a couple days to post them, hopefully to catch peoples interest once the first round is over.
