He got Cena into Nexus, he was in the main event of Summerslam, he was in the main event of Night of Champions for the title, he was in the main event of Bragging Rights for the title. First big match though.

but Orton would have been nothing more then just a curtain jerker if he didn't latch on to Evolution, where he got noticed for the first time. Prior to evolution he was doing a Randy News Network thing, and was just being a Generic 3rd Generation guy (A La Rocky Miavia without any reaction from the fans or the stupid entrance attire Rocky had). Evolution (thus HHH) made him the Legend Killer, and thus a Main Eventer.

The one thing no one seems to talk about in WWE is the idea of Barrett just being able to beat Orton. If that happens fairly then Cena wins his freedom and Barrett wins fairly. It tells you a lot when a clean ending is a total and complete impossibility.

Nah, he was still nothing but an upper mid card guy until the feud in 07 / 08 / 09

Allegedly Edge was going to jump to Raw at Survivor Series and win the Chamber but HHH squashed it. That would have worked back in 02 with as hot as Edge was.
