TNA iMPACT! & ReAction LD for 10.07 is LIVE Before the Glory!

Not supposed to, they are heels. They are bad guys. They shouldn't be amping up the crowd. Thus, they are doody at their job.

Yeah; because this is 1940. This idiotic idea that heels shouldn't entertain the crowd is utterly redundant in the modern era. Beer Money entertain the crowd, have fantastic matches and still generate heat. I'd take that as an indication that they're pretty fucking good at their jobs.

Have you seen Dodgeball? I'm instantly reminded of the "Do you know what 50,000 dollars actually looks like?" and he opens the briefcase and it only takes up like 1/10th of it

I thought the same, but come on, a stack of cash? LOL.

At least put it in a money bag or something...

Yeah, as long as I'm happy, I could give a fuck about that kinda stuff.

Problem is, they don't generate heat. None of Fortune do. I know it's 2010, but bad guys should generate heat. Yes, us fans like the bad guys if they are good at their jobs. I admit that I like Miz a lot because he is damn good at his job and I have enjoyed Wade Barrett who is damn good at his job. I am a huge Robert Roode mark, but if he's gonna play a heel, be a heel. He was a great one when he was on his own, but you still have to be one if you're gonna be the muscle tag team of a heel group.

A couple of things became clear to me tonight in watching this episode of iMPACT.

1. Bob and Janice Carter will not figure into BFG in any capacity. Mere over-speculation and over-analysis by the IWC.

2. Hogan will definitely appear at BFG. It's all a work. The handicap match will be underway and surprise surprise, a late appearance by the immortal one.

3. Dixie Carter's signing of the papers that she signed tonight will be a significant part of the storyline. Hogan, Bischoff, whoever, just fooled her into signing leadership or ownership of TNA away.

4. Anderson will win at BFG, and will be affiliated with "them."

5. Foley and Flair will probably bleed at this PPV.

6. If I were a TNA fan, I'd be very very concerned about the direction of TNA heading into BFG and beyond. As I said before, all of their eggs in one basket, resulting in scrambled eggs.

They teased this in that opening segment pretty heavily. Was it just working the IWC? Who knows at this point.

That's my opinion, working the IWC, very Russo-esque. If this was the plan which has been planned for months, why spoil it and give it away less than a week away from the PPV?

Respectfully disagree. Andre was a commodity the likes of which has rarely been seen in wrestling bar none. I'd like him just as much in today's industry. Andre in his prime was actually very entertaining from what I've seen. Andre in the late 1980s was still entertaining from what I've seen.

Andre in his prime was a really really big man who threw fists. Put bluntly he was a freak, and when you're promoting on a local level half a decade ago that's a major, major draw.
People who don't know what they're talking about like to envisage him as some king of forrunner to Bigshow when he really wasn't. Even in his prime he was size and size alone. An attraction more than a worker.

If you want the real super-heavyweight wrestlers of the time I recommend taking a look at Don Leo Johnathon, the Mormon Giant.

Anyway, it's been fun. Still gunna try and catch BFG if you're going to be around. Sleep now though. Tootles.

I'll be here for BFG, I decided about six months ago that I was actually going to order BFG in order to show some support to TNA. Up until now, I have only ordered Wrestlemania 22 and 23.
I sure hope that EV 2 is damn gone next week and They don't turn out to be Bischoff and Hogan.

Goldust is fine for what he was doing until Monday. No way he should be involved in a storyline on Raw that goes more than one night.
Disagree. He's earned the faith during his current run.

Liked iMPACT last night. Opening was some serious lulz. Flair and Foley blading and doing stupid shit like the aging carnies that they are was awesome. And I even enjoyed the battle royal. Mostly because of the running commentary I was laying down during it. Still, lotta fun.
