Smackdown vs Raw: Storyline Designer

Can't wait to play though Theo's stories.

Theo, we should def have a match or two online when it comes out.

In the same article I quoted above, it also says that there is an online royal rumble match for twelve people. Only six can be in the ring at one time but if you are not one of the six in the match and are one of the six waiting to enter, there is a quiz that pops up with questions like "who will enter next?" etc.

I'm game for some online gaming. Don't get to do it much since my PS3 has been acting up and my internet is weak lol.

I always look for you when I'm online, but you're pretty elusive.

Yeah if you catch me online it is a blessing. Sometimes my PS3 will log me on and other times it doesnt bother lol. But like I've said its been on the fritz lately. Sometimes it freezes during games that work perfectly fine on my kid brother's PS3. Maybe I'll have to give my PS3 a test run tonight to make sure my baby still has it in him to game lol.

Likewise. Given I finally own a 360 now since last week, I'll be getting SVR 2011. Certainly would be giving Will's stories a go if he does do them with the new game.

Phoenix, you can add me if you wish. My Gamertag is the same as my username.

Also, I'll definitely be doing more stories for the new Smackdown game. They've added tons more features, and creative angles/plots from what I understand - so it should be more than plenty to start instantly and just build on continuously from the moment I get everything unlocked. (assuming I have to unlock anything)

Before I always used to wait until I had a good roster of CaW's from TNA, ROH, Indy's, etc.. but I think with as big and detailed/accurate as this year's game's rosters are gonna be - I could just start the moment I get the game.

I look forward to having any amount of readers I can get.

You need to be really bored or really committed to these things if you are to make them successful. I just couldn't stick with it like I should have.

I made my stories without a keyboard for about two weeks worth of shows. It was fucking horrible. My live account was coming up for renewal, so I just spent $10.00 extra and got the combo pack that gave me the card, a keyboard and some random video game.

The keyboard was the greatest thing I've ever gotten as an accessory in recent memory.

Same. I just hate all the writing with the controller. Probably would have stuck with it if I got a keyboard to type it. Will probably give it a go and then just stick with WWE Universe mode. Game looks great though, can't wait.

Is Universe mode an online feature? Kinda like a type of franchise, where when you're online - you're kinda "in that world"? If so, I'm unsure if I'll wanna take part in that.

I've found Wrestling games to be the worst online games you can play against people. They constantly use 1-3 moves, that are always cheap and uncounterable, (thats a word, right?) or simply too quick to stop.

I have the keyboard and couldn't stick with it. Too much work for a game, and then trying to make sure it's not going to be censored was too much of a pain. They would sensor the word Title because of the first 3 letters.

I got around that censor once I figured out how. I just used a simple * to block out one word. Anyone who couldn't figure out what the word was, shouldn't be trying to read my stories to begin with.

But, yeah, I shouldn't of had to censor any of my words to begin with - especially the most essential words to a Wrestling game. Ya know.. Title, Associate, Cody Rhodes & Ted Dibiase :wtf:

I never did figure out why I couldn't write out their full names.

Theo, do you have an xbox 360? If you do, and you wanted - you could add me as well. (See Phoenix reply for GT)

Sweet. Will do once I got my Xbox online and I've got the game.

Also, disappointed Pheonix bought a 360 rather than a PS3. LOL.

Well, I always wanted a PS3, but a Pre-owned 120GB Elite for £100 was too good to miss. Anything similiar on the PS3 was about £130 more.

Actually its an offline feature. Rather than just having straight exhibition matches, you'll take part in shows where they'll have cut scenes, set you up in feuds based around what matches your having, title contendership, etc. It's a fluid system that keeps storylines fresh based on who you choose as an opponent, tag partner etc. It's rather ingenious and I hope it pans out well. Just check any game site that has coverage and should give you a proper explanation.

Still think the greatest match I ever had was you me and Moon Knight I believe in a triple threat. I was Elijah Burke, someone was Cena and some other main eventer. I got knocked around all match, Cena hit the AA and I hit a running forearm and got a dirty pin to win. Did fuck all other wise. Greatest win ever.

LOL at Ty's awesome win, reminds me of an event at school with Smackdown: Just Bring It, where a guy I knew was running it where the stip was you pay to play, win and get your money back. I was the only guy to win in an 8-Man Battle Royale after hitting a clotheslines, that was a victory worth savouring.

Speaking of SVR Online, 6 player online games are confirmed, Elimination Chamber and Royal Rumble online is happening!

And three new legends confirmed, Jake Roberts, Terry Funk and Jimmy Snuka.
