RAW LD 1/25/2016 - IF YA SMELLLLLLLLLLLLLL

Not nearly as troll as the NWO coming out to help Sting. Makes you wonder if Vince or anyone else in the WWE actually ever watched their competition.

I remember laughing when I saw HHH had beated Sting. I wasn't even mad. It was the biggest troll in wrestling history. "Why kind of lawers do you have Sting?". That's what Hall said.

Oh yeah. I'm probably the biggest Tito fan you'll find on here so Strike Force was quite the fun time.

I had to defend Tito in a topic on here a day or two ago that was against him being in the WWE HOF. Muraco/Santana was one of my all-time favorite feuds, used to get all those tapes from a family member up north because WWE wasn't shown down here until '84.

They actually mentioned this match in their press release.

"Styles arrives to WWE as a highly skilled veteran with the same agility and desire as that novice grappler who once stared down The Hurricane on WWE Metal. After conquering the independent circuit and Japan, AJ Styles wants to show WWE why he’s so phenomenal. Hold on tight."

Good to see WWE still views TNA as the independents.

And here I thought I was clever with my obscure reference.

I can't help but get the feeling that a lot of fans are looking at Jericho with Jade Colored Glasses, cause it's glaringly obvious that Jericho just isn't the same competitor he used to be.

Styles seems nervous or management is holding him back. The tempo of the match seems off.

Who said Tito wasn't HOF worthy?

Not sure that anyone is claiming he is. But he's still very solid in the ring, and IMO he's been funny as hell with his overly full of himself act since he came back. He's still a good wrestler and a good talker who "gets" pro wrestling. Nobody is claiming he's the best in the world or that they should put the belt on him( the way many used to), are they?

He has physically dropped off since his last run.

He looked scared when he came out.

It's an awkward looking match for sure. I wouldn't be surprised if they sent him out against Y2J in an effort to make him look like a Champion. Jericho will work him whilst trying to make him look good. Unfortunately, so far, the tempo and delivery just hasn't been right.
