His pops include X Pac heat. Not good for the top babyface in the company.

His matches before 07 were atrocious. In 07, he got decent opponents so he got decent matches.

HBK brings out the best in everyone and could pull a good match out of fucking Doink the Clown, RKO always has decent matches, Khali..lawlz, Lashley, great wrestler who showed his wrestling skills, etc..

Any half way decent wrestler who gets put in practically every main event for the first 10 months of the year is oviously gunna have some match of the year candidates, regardless of whether hes overrated or not so that argument really is no good.

give me reasons why he isnt good? Legit reasons, their is competition for match of the year candidates, he gets put in the main event week in and week out because he is that entertaining, and people eat him up. Why is he overrated?

everyone argues that Cena has a "never say die" attitude. Are you aware he only has that because WWE writers give it to him. The only reason anyone like Cena is becasue they are mindless drones who do what the writers want them to do. You should look at people who really lay it on the line when they go to the ring. Like Jeff Hardy, he could easily be sidelined permenantly or even killed with half the stuff he does and he doesn't have to do it, he wants to. What does Cena risk? Nothing, he is a piece of crap wrestler who needs to be taken out of the main event and put on the bench for good.

3)Merchandise counts a lot in wrestling because the superstars make a percentage out of their merchandise. As a matter of fact this is the reason why there are so many faces in wrestling because fans like faces more so they would rather buy a faces shirt. TBH the only heels who's merchandise sells is Kennedy,Orton, and Edge.

Most of Triple H's best merchandise came out when he was a heel champion. The "nWo" merchandise, among the hottest selling merch in wrestling history, only took off when Hogan went heel with Hall and Nash. Evolution was a heel faction and their stuff sold great. Kurt Angle was a heel most of his WWE and TNA career and his merch sells like crazy. Need I go on?

3. his matches are way to predictable becuase he is always "overcoming the odds" and winning
4. He doesnt sell moves or injuries very well either. A great example of this is his wm match against hbk where he didnt sell his leg at all. Even his last man standing match against umaga at last years rumble he didnt sell his injuries nearly as much as he should have.

Orton is not nearly as predictable as john cena is because he actually loses every once in a while and he has much more athletic ability than cena has.
