No. I went to some Indie club in Angel, somewhat ironically. I got there and everyone was dressed as pirates. I asked some girl why and she said "It was on the website, did you not see?" Apparently, the kids these days go online before they go somewhere. I genuinely felt like I was about 45 years old. I've now got a crudely drawn anchor tattoo some girl put on my forearm to compensate.

I have a small collection of Popeye shirts that would have been just the ticket. OK, so he's more of a sailor than a pirate, but still.

I would have gone in normal clothes, saying I'm a software pirate.

The vast majority were dressed as sailors. Also, one girl inexplicably had an inflatable penis. A bloke came over and said "I can sort you out with a real one if you want". Gold.

Should have thought of this. I was reeling out the funnies, and this would have gone down well, I feel. I believe I claimed to be a stand up comedian at one stage.

Virgin+ has frame skip, I think, but I'm not so sure about slow motion. You've bested me.

Virgin + used to have slowmotion, I'm sure it did. If you push pause then fast forward I think.

It's on indefinite hiatus. I'd love to do it again, but I'm not a student anymore. If I can figure out some way of doing it from home or for a community radio or something it'll be back on the air.

Swansea will be good. I would have much preferred a Cardiff vs Swansea final, but only because I live on the other side of London to Wembley.

In other news, I've formed an opinion about TNA, which is my first new wrestling opinion for about 6 months.
