Handsome guy (no homo) who is a fighter, also a surfer, and years from now will probably most likely be remembered as a guy who was on the receiving end of a highlight reel KO. Goddamn this is your KO of the year right now.

Also, I don't know how Vitor is the only guy who still wins as a Blackzillian.

In other news, Barao is OUT of UFC 161. No idea what will replace that fight but Barao vs. Wineland better not be re-scheduled for the Fox Sports 1 card... or make an Interim Interim Title fight, perhaps!

Just spitballing here, but Faber is coming out the biggest with Barao going down. He should be ready and available to fight, and with not just wins, but finishes, over Menjivar and Jorgensen, he's earned a shot. Cruz won't be back until December.

Guarantee they strip Cruz of the title. They book Faber vs. Wineland II for the hypothetically vacant Bantamweight Title. That still gives them enough time this year to unify the titles with the Faber/Wineland winner facing Barao. Winner fights Cruz in December 2013/January 2014. It also makes it a marketable Cruz fight as they can say he "never lost the title" and all that jazz.

Food for thought on Cruz's absence. The last time he fought, the UFC was running fights on Versus (now the NBC Sports Network, which airs the World Series of Fighting) and he beat Demetrious Johnson. DJ has since dropped to Flyweight, fought McCall twice, beat Benevidez for the Flyweight Title, defended it against Dodson and will defend against Moraga.

With the Shogun/Lil' Nog rematch and Hendo/Rashad on the card I wouldn't be surprised if they just reschedule Barao/Wineland.

I wouldn't be opposed to them making Wineland/Faber for the main event, winner receives an IOU for one title shot from Dana.

My line of thinking is this: While both Light Heavyweight fights are huge, this isn't 2010 or 2011, this is 2013 where Shogun, Lil Nog, Rashad, and Hendo are all coming off fights where they looked like absolute crap. As much as I love Hendo, Evans vs. Hendo sounds like it's going to be an absolute shitfest. The Shogun/Lil Nog rematch I have low expectations for. That fight should have been booked a long time ago.

Any one of those fights is unpromotable as the main event. Plus, the Bantamweight Division really cannot be on hold any longer.

Also, Vitor is being a standoffish dick about his TRT use. It's nobody else's fault that he's been popped on Roids before and the fact that he's on TRT now is a huge deal.

"Can somebody beat him up for me, please?" Belfort requested when asked by MMAjunkie.com about his situation. "Can somebody beat him up?

"You're boring man, you're boring. Get out of here. ... I'm not going to talk to you. Talk to my hand."

Belfort took a similar approach when pressed again on the issue by a Brazilian journalist.

Well, they made it official. Rashad vs. Hendo will be the main event at 161. No word when they are gonna reschedule Barao/Wineland though.

Roy Nelson vs. Stipe Miocic has also been added to UFC 161. Good fight. Nelson should add another KO victory to his little streak with this one.

But man, I'm so stoked for UFC 160. Best UFC card in quite sometime, IMO. That card should be loaded with devastating knockouts.

So Forrest Griffin has called it quits. This makes me way too sad. Besides Andrei Arlovski I don't think I have liked a fighter more than Forrest. He was just a brawler. And regardless of if you liked him or hated him no one can deny the impact he had on the sport. Arguably without Forrest and Bonnar killing each other for 15 minutes MMA never would have taken off and blown up the way it has. I love all of Forrest's fights, even his losses, and really wish we could have gotten one more fight as a farewell. Alas, it was not meant to be. I wish the best for one of the most popular fighters in UFC history.

I think we all should take a moment today to remember and pay our respects for Bonnar and Griffin. Despite both getting popped for drugs and not having amazing careers, without them we likely wouldn't have this thread, or any of the festivities that went on this week. They're being inducted into the hall of fame together, and I don't think there ever has been or will be more deserving inductions.

Forrest was a dick when I met him at that Fan Expo but he definitely still had an amazing career, he beat prime Quinton Jackson for the Light Heavyweight Championship. Sure, he lost it the next fight but he had a great career.

Bonnar on the other hand... what was his biggest victory, Jardine?

Do not sleep on my dude Stipe, I watched him live, fucking destroy the Naafs heavyweight champ. I'm just hoping he can pull something down aagainst Roy. I love Big, but if my dude knocked him out, damnnnn.

Looking forward to seeing Nog and FW fight, should be fun. Great time to love Heavyweights. Outside of Bigfoot, of course. Glad to see him get his big goofy ass handed to him again. Hunts fight was great. He needs to go back and re focus on his training. He's good right now, but some more focused cardio could do him wonders.

Cat Zingano is out of TUF 18 and out of her title fight with Ronda Rousey. Turns out Ronda will get to break Miesha Tate's arm once again as Tate is the replacement. I can't wait to see Ronda beat Miesha once again and make a fool of her boyfriend yet again. Probably more excited for this season of TUF now that Miesha is coaching against Ronda and I can't wait to see Ronda hit the armbar one more time.
