D-Man and IC25's Official NJexus HQ

Chillin' man. Probably eat some breakfast, get ready for the day, and then go to the driving range. How goes it on your end (including work is optional).

I'm trying to get back in shape. I'm forcing myself to eat some kind of breakfast every morning. The only problem is that I have various food allergies that revolve around fruits, most of the time. Oranges are one of the few types of fruits I can eat.

Did that joke go over your head? I hope it didn't.

Fruit is good if you can enjoy it. I wish I had milk for some cereal. Damn it. Also good job on trying to get in better shape.

I totally got the joke, bro. :lmao:

I wish I had the time to explain all of my physical problems I've been having lately that prevent me from eating cereal, of all things... it's so pathetic...

Give back your man card right now.

Seriously though, why cereal?

And I understand not being able to eat certain foods for bullshit reasons. I haven't had popcorn since my sophomore year of high school and I fucking love popcorn.

*In a doctor voice*

Does cereal give you gas?

:lmao: No, bro.

Ok, fine... I'll explain.

My teeth are a fucking mess right now. I had about $2000 of dental work done last year because I decided it was smart to not go to the dentist for 7 years (learn a lesson from this). All of that work was done and it actually snowballed into other problems. Now, my back teeth are extremely sensitive to crunchy things, they hurt when I eat or drink hot or cold things, and I think I either have to sue my dentist (seriously) or get a bunch of route canals done this year.

Therefore, cereal = crunchy = PAIN.

So I was thinking we should have us a west coast-east coast rivalry thing. We already have the gangs. You, IC25, and NorCal. Myself, SSC, and Armbar. You and SSC can partake of the blunt smoking competition, NorCal and Armbar can have a series of cage matches, and IC and I will...have a song and dance battle.

I feel your pain, champ. I've had about $3000 in work done, most of it in the course of 2 months a few years ago. I went in and had at least one root canal each monday for like 5 weeks. At a good place they don't hurt really at all. It's just an awkward process to go through. My problems were the same as yours (I also learned a valuable lesson). I do actually like the fact that I had to have one tooth pulled because I have a Mick Foley thing going on now.

SO BRUSH YOUR MOTHER FUCKING TEETH, CHILDREN!

Daaamn D-Man, that sucks. It does sound like your dentist pulled a botchjob, I don't think anybody would blame you if you tried to get some compensation as dental work isn't cheap. I hope your root canals are as painless as Jose says, I can't imagine them not being at least a little painful.

I'm game... except I've taken a break from smoking. The shit was killing my lungs and was making me sleep like shit, so I'm going through one of my standard detoxing periods.

I would say this to any of my friends here.

Way to go dumbass.

I deserve that. But honestly, if you had my situation, you wouldn't have gone, either. Check this out...

I've always had great teeth. But 7 years ago, I had some wisdom teeth growing in that needed to be extracted. I went to the orthodontist and they stuck me with some needles to numb me before the extraction, except one minor problem happened... the Novocain wouldn't take. He shot me up about five times and couldn't hit (what dentists call) the "sweet spot."

Basically, your mouth has a lot of dead tissue and not too many nerves. Unless the dentist injects the Novocain in the right spot, you won't go numb. However, the Novocain will still be entering your body regardless, so they can only inject so much at a time before sending you into the "Big sleep."

Anyway, he had no choice just to extract two of my teeth the old fashioned way. I can't even begin to explain the amount of pain I was in. My mother was in the waiting room, heard me scream, and ran in like they cut off one of my limbs or something (even though it felt that way). And yes, I cried like a little sissy girl, but that shit FUCKING HURT.

Needless to say, I didn't want to go back to the dentist anytime soon.

I have a feeling this is gonna be me. I know I need route canals... I just know it. And it sucks... BALLS.

I've had two of them. I had my front, right tooth's nerve die on me and had the RC done. But I also had a second one because of an unfortunate incident with a Mentos. Yes, the fresh-maker.

I was chewing (or attempting to chew) one from a pack that was a bit old. Long story short, the fucker wasn't as "chewy" as it should have been. As I bit down on it with my molars, I heard and felt a CRACK. While I thought it was the Mentos splitting into pieces, as I kept chewing, I realized that the Mentos was still perfectly in tact and I was crunching on half of my molar. the fucker split like Gimli's axe on the ring of power in the first LOTR movie. A route canal was required.

It wasn't so bad but it was awkward like Jose explained.

I can't imagine. I have a horrible gag reflex, I can't even get x-rays taken of most of my teeth, let alone have molars pulled out. They'd probably have to knock me out in order to get it done, which is what they did when they took out my wisdom teeth.

FUCKIN YIKES! I broke a top-right tooth on a tortilla chip, but thankfully caught onto it before I crushed into it further.

I once chipped one of my baby teeth on a jelly bean. True story.

I never got novacaine for my wisdom teeth, at least I don't remember it. I got a needle in the hand and the gas to sleep.
