WWE RAW & Tough Enough LD 4/18/2011 - London, England...WHAT'S UP?!?

He's got a BBQ business.

He doesn't need to work for either
he sells bottles of barbeque sauce online (and in select retailers in the Oklahoma area). I doubt that's enough to live on. And how do you know how well off he is financially?

Please point out where I said I wanted him to work for TNA. I clearly said that IF he was to go to TNA they would more than likely treat him better, with the respect he deserves. Also, I thought Oklahoma was Ed Ferrera's doing, not Vince's. I'm not sure though. Either ways, that probably wouldn't be revisited again.

Lastly, you can make good money in the wrestling business and not have to work for WWE **cough**Sting**cough**. All I'm saying is he is more than likely financially secure for the rest of his live and doesn't really need to work for WWE anymore. Like I said, I would rather he not work for WWE at all than watch him be humiliated at every possible opportunity for no reason.
He wants to be in wrestling. You want him in non-WWE wrestling for some ungodly reason. He wants to make a bit of money, so that he is compensated fairly. He has 2 options. WWE or TNA. WWE pays MUCH better then TNA would, and WWE, while they do degrading stuff to him once in a while, it's all done for a storyline, whereas the other option is TNA, who's lead writer (Russo) crossed any sort of line (more-so then McMahon ever did) with that Oklahoma nonsense.

Eh, I'm not sure about the Japanese promotions. They probably aren't know as much as WWE but you'd have to ask one of the puro fans if there are Japanese wrestling promotions that are bigger in at least Japan.

Sure, they may be more popular in Japan, but no wrestling company is as big worldwide as the WWE is.

Are you and me watching the same show? How did you miss the many times J.R. has been humiliated for the past decade or so just because Vince has some personal vendetta against him. Also, he has to do what he's asked to do. If he just walks out like it's nothing do you think Vince is going to be happy about it? Hell no. He probably wouldn't hesitate to sue J.R. or something like that.

I don't really see it as getting humiliated. He's doing his job as a character on a TV show, which is exactly what he is. He gets put in crazy situations, just like any character. Guess what? Other people have been "humiliated" as well. How about Vince McMahon practically every week of the Austin feud? How about Michael Cole almost every week lately? They are playing characters on a TV show, I fail to see how they are being humiliated.

so this might be a dumb question but fuck it, i'll ask it anyway, when is smackdown recorded? is it right after raw? or is it like tuesday or some shit?

Tuesday. It's not actually sold out this week. They did a quick advert mid-Raw (off camera of course).

You do know he also has a very successful restaurant? I'm sure that rakes in a lot cash.

Do you NOT know how to read? Like did they ever teach you to read in whatever schools you went too. I'll repeated one more time for you and maybe you'll understand: I, as in me, personally would prefer not having on my TV at all rather than have him be humiliated week in and week out. That DOES NOT mean I want him in TNA. HOWEVER, if he were to ever go to TNA he would probably still be making decent money just like Sting and others do. Also, like I said earlier, I'm pretty sure Oklahoma was Ed Ferrera's doing not Vince's. I'm not sure, but even if it was Vince's doing I doubt it's a chapter that would be revisited and I doubt J.R. still holds any if he ever even held any ill will towards either Ed or Vince.

Now, try reading my ENTIRE post. NOT just SOME parts of. That way you MIGHT comprehend what I'm saying.

ST, it was Vince and Ed. Ed didn't do anything without clearance from Russo, so he's just as much to blame.

You're probably right concerning worldwide status so I'm not going to debate you on that.

There's a difference though. Back then people didn't see Vince as some sort of respected legend, same thing for Cole. On the other hand Jim Ross has the respect of most if not all of his peers and fans yet he's still humiliated at every possible opportunity and he's one of few legend who gets such treatment because of some person vendetta Vince has against him. Now tell me, Oh Bearded one, what other very well respected legends do you see getting that same treatment JR gets?

Not getting in the argument, just an FYI. He closed it last year because of the economy. Like I said, not taking sides, just letting you know.

To be honest, I wasn't aware of that. I knew he had two but I thought he only closed down one and kept one open.
