WWE RAW LD 3rd March 2014 - Chicago, Their Kind of Town?

The two hours I saw were pretty good.
Got to see part of the Shield/Wyatt family match and everything after.

No complaints about the quality of the show here.
The road to Wrestlmania has been entertaining so far.
I hope that carries over into next week.

The people who are taunting the Punk fans are just as bad as they are.

Excellent Raw though, I'm not that fussed with Punk not showing up.

Same, the show will always go on. The looks of this Triple H-Daniel Bryan feud is great and will show Punk what he missed out on. Punk left his own fans, he's moved on and so should everybody else.

Punk's definitely not finished. Surely

Well, his contract expires in July, according to reports. Also, him not coming tonight means he is surely off of WM, as they won't get a better time in which to bring him back. Just have to wait and see.

All that said; I wonder Who Dave Meltzer's source of info. was with regard to Punk being there...

Maybe Hulk Hogans big announcement next week is inserting Punk into the world title match. I'm just spit balling here because I just can't imagine them acknowledging the CM Punk situation for no reason plus I just can't see this match being one on one for the title. It's going to get killed out there

This Mania card is looking pretty damn week as is. Lesnar vs. Taker looks like the only math worth paying for.

Shield breakup is looking imminent with a three way at Mania, Wyatt vs Cena is all but set in stone, we're getting evidence of the Real Americans splitting with a long overdue face turn for Cesaro, and though I think he should be put into the title match HHH/Bryan is looking pretty damn fantastic.

How is this card looking weak.

Anyone who's mad about that Raw deserves to have their wrestling fan card revoked... if there was such a thing, that is.

Not gonna lie though, would have loved to see him, but go figure, the wheel has kept on turning.

I thought the first half was absolutely brilliant.
However, I think the majority of us would say that the Punk music at the beginning totally got us into thinking he would show up at some point.

However, WWE set the show up perfectly, because there wasn't much of a hijacking at all,lMO.
Heyman and Lesnar(with the CM Punk music and references),
the Usos winning the Tag titles,
the Shield vs the Wyatt family,
Sheamus vs Christian,
also, Cesaro vs Big E(short match with some good spots and a story also)...

Top notch First Half of the show... Second half wasn't too hot,lMO, regardless of the Punk factor.

Wyatt vs. Cena is not a big time Mania match at all, yet it will be treated as a Big 4 match. Bryan is clearly bigger than a match with HHH at this point. The World title match is a complete failure at this point. There's still time to make this card interesting, but it's quickly running out.

As the fans in Chicago still sit in the stands, while the house technicians turn out the lights... their sour faced butthurt grew three sizes this night....

In closing, the @WWE got thru the #RAW in Chicago just fine tonight. No one controls their fan base better than WWE.

Couldn't have said it any better,lMO.
