HBK isn't ruining anything. Granted the booking of the whole thing is a mess. But Shawn Michaels changed the entire game for the Taker match. Who knows how it could end now.

Shawn is retired, it's pretty obvious that he can't screw over Taker because he can't have another match and if he does he will be no better than Ric Flair.

HBK didn't go to another company. Shawn retired, but this is the WWE. Serves can happen at any time. And seeing HBK's past as a special guest Ref, it is not something. A screw isn't something you can't put behind him.
