Kane gained from it. The crowd was into it and cheered after booing the announcement. I'd say that went well. I mean, not as well as someone that people who watch the Cruiserweight Classic would know facing Bray in a one off match would have been but well enough.

In story line terms, it would be the same as having Lashley vs. Hardy on a WWE show.

Guys, what's the matter here? Kane picked a victory after missing for so long. Bray didn't lose clean. The feud with Orton continues. Just view this like a Chris Jericho victory in 2016. Kane's name has value and his in-ring style and size, brings a lot to the table that very few people bring. Stop hating and don't turn everything into a smark contest.
Well, Randy Orton did come out at the end and attacked Wyatt which furthered that feud on SmackDown, so there was actually something gained from it after all. Whether you liked or not is another matter altogether.
Ntm, you want Ibushi vs Wyatt which would have been the epitome of a nothing match, or given Ibushi(if signed by WWE) will be in the cruiserweight division on RAW, would have made the whole brand split stuff look pretty bad, don't you think?
NXT doesn't compete with another brand, it's the feeder system for the main roster, so having the occasional wrestler on there isn't a big deal. It's just a bonus for us who watch it. Almost like having the part timers show up at Mania.
This is a brand exclusive show, so having someone who might sign with RAW on their first PPV shows that they don't have the roster to fill out one spot when an injury occurs. Doesn't look that good does it.
Kane was a fine replacement, and it ended up being a decent match. Don't see what your problem with it is.

It wasn't a good idea. Mine isn't THAT better, but at least would have a better match, a fresh match and a whole new purpose.

It wasn't a good match. It was at best an average match (forgettable really). So did the Divas. Ibushi isn't a rival talent, he is a CWC competitor. Can't you actually believe that Bryan would want to push the tournament he's a part of in his show?
It wouldn't. The CWC is actually something WWE probably wants to hype, since it's Network's exclusive. I give up...
Do you people pay for your Network account to be content with a PPV match be a Kane vs. Wyatt with no heat and no reason whatsoever? That is an Hardy vs Lashley. It's a SmackDown match on a PPV. Well, then, WWE may very well stay lazy.
