WWE Backlash 2016 Live Discussion

I said it previously. Bryan is involved in it, maybe he invited them to SmackDown PPV before the tournament finals. Also, Ibushi isn't under contract to WWE, let alone Raw, so he could have a pay-per-appearance deal here. It could've worked a lot better than this lazy booking we saw. Don't argue. You know they could've done a better job... If they were in doubt with Plan A, have a Plan B and C ready. It's a gigantic corporation. Not ROH who actually loses something if someone gets injured the day before or whatever.

...no. This is, in fact, stupid.

They should have put the tournament final on Clash of the Champions. That would be a great way to introduce the cruisers to Raw. At the end, bring out the new CW belt and present it to the winner.

They did have a plan B, it was Kane. I don't really see the problem with it. It was a good match and Orton hitting the RKO made the fans happy.

Those dastardly Usos, competing in their second match of the night against a fresh team.

If Heath can't beat an already worn down Usos, he probably doesn't deserve a contract.

It isn't. Having Kane win a match against Bray Wyatt without a reason is stupid. At least that way you could've pushed the cruiserweights. Ibushi is Japanese and he has that gimmick to never back down from a fight.

You just needed a backstage segment with Shane telling Bryan that Orton's out of the PPV. Daniel could continue developing that "amazing GM" role who has ideas on the fly, by just looking at Ibushi who wouldn't refuse a fight and was just there visiting. If you want it, have Ibushi on the pre-show as well so people know he would be there.

It could have worked. The finals are this weeks. It would have been a great way to promote it. Ibushi and Bray could have had an amazing match. Ibushi's style is just awesome against an heavyweight/brawler.

I have nothing against Kane, but he doesn't have any heat. Ibushi actually does have. It's an awesome idea. You seem to be always excusing WWE for it's stupid lazy booking... "Oh it's just a C-PPV, what would you expect?"... Some freaking quality.

There are no words to describe how incredibly stereotypical douchebag smark this post is.

This is really awesome.

If I told you on January 1st that Zack Ryder would win a title on Wrestlemania and that Heath Slater would be a tag team champion this year, you would have banned me from watching wrestling.
