WWE Backlash 2016 Live Discussion

Raw wrestlers. Try again.

Not yet they aren't. It could've been an exhibition match. Well, use Kota Ibushi like I said in the beginning of the thread. He isn't a Raw wrestler and he could afford a lose against an heavyweight. Well, given that booking he could've actually won the match. Better yet.

Fine match. Finish is lame. I'm pretty much done with Bray at this point. I won't believe it until there's a WWE Championship in his hands.

This reminds me of a Saturday Nights Main Event from the 80's or an old WCW Clash of the Champions.

At the end of the night, hopefully, this is known as the show where AJ Style became the WWE champ!

If they knew on Tuesday, they should have made the change on Smackdown. Play it safe for once.

Based on the rumours I read, it was a touch and go situation as they were hoping Randy would be cleared to wrestle tonight and were prepared to wait till the last minute.

SO, I had to run an errand earlier. I put the WWE Network on my phone and bluetoothed it through the in dash infotainment system that Chevrolet so kindly provided me. Mauro sounds great. I enjoyed wrestling as a radio broadcast.

The Uso should have taken a page from their dad's book and run over Slater/Rhyno with their car to pick up the win by forfeit.

They said the cruiserweights were Raw exclusives. Also why would they be in the building?

I dont know how this would work, but Rhyno has campaigning to do in Michigan. He cant possibly run while defending the titles.

I said it previously. Bryan is involved in it, maybe he invited them to SmackDown PPV before the tournament finals. Also, Ibushi isn't under contract to WWE, let alone Raw, so he could have a pay-per-appearance deal here. It could've worked a lot better than this lazy booking we saw. Don't argue. You know they could've done a better job... If they were in doubt with Plan A, have a Plan B and C ready. It's a gigantic corporation. Not ROH who actually loses something if someone gets injured the day before or whatever.

"Reigning Tag Team Champion" is a pretty compelling selling point for a candidate IMO.

Also, that double suplex into the ring post was cool.

Which is why WWE fans get frustrated so easily.

They could have announced Kane and had Randy attack him. It's not like anyone ever got heel heat for attacking Kane. Plan for the worst, hope for the best.

The WWE philosophy is plan for the best, shove the aborted fetus of failure down the fan's collective throat.
