What will WWE do if Randy Orton's arm is broken?

I just read here that randy orton might have a broken arm? My question is now if randy orton has too go what are they going too do with him. He's broken his arm before like twice already ? Also right now wwe is pushing too be a major face on raw now he's injured. Anyone think thier going too get someone in ortons spot while he's gone or just leave things the way it is.

They are actually in a good spot right now with the RAW main event so crowded they might be able to squeak by with Randy Orton Injured and instead of wasting an Orton Vs Edge match at a lower rated PPV might be able to turn Orton's unfortenate injury into a major Summerslam re-match between the two and a major feud of 2010.

The WWE is in a postion where, while you never want to see one of , if not THE top draw in your company go out with an injury , they have the talent around him on RAW to pick up the slack for a few months so Orton can recover.

By no means was his injury (if legitmate which seeing the match on PPV seems that there was some sort of injury because that ending was most certainly improvised) is a good thing, it is always bad to have a main star go out, but due to the fact they have so much talent around him on RAW right now, they may be able to make a postive out of a huge possible negative here.

Btw what the HELL is up with all the injurys at over the limit, CM punk and Cena both were cut open, and the Orton vs Edge match was ruined due to orton apparently breaking his arm doing his normal RKO set up. talk about a bad day for the WWE.

WOW. Why is their a question mark at the end of the Wrestlezone BREAKING NEWS post? He did suffer an arm injury and anyone who saw it will note the fact that his right arm was at least several inches longer than his left arm. Can't believe how hard it is to figure that out. I could see the weird shape. In fact he should have been screaming because it looks like his bone is out of place.

I don't know what WWE will do. It seems just as he was developing a good story this happened and now he'll be out for awhile. Guess we'll have to wait til Raw. Without Orton its back to John Cena and the same ol crap.

I'm reading that it's a dislocated shoulder. Does anybody know about how long it takes to recover from one of those? Apparently CM Punk got legitimately busted open too and needed staples. This isn't good, these guys are parts of some huge storylines. I just hope they recover quickly. I'm sure Punk'll be fine since he managed to finish his match and go through with the public shaving and everything...but I'm worried about RKO.

I think it may be more than a dislocated shoulder. His arm looked messed up near the elbow.

And did anyone else not see the ref do the X thing? Its the first thing that caught my eye after I realized something was wrong.

OT: "Over the Limit" is a good title for this PPV. It shouldn't have happened. Nothing was fun or exciting here. Just people getting busted open and boring matches.

What we need now is CM Punk in the main event. With Randy gone theres an even bigger gap then before. No HHH, HBK, Orton, and now Batista. With Punk shaved and basically done with his Rey storyline, its the perfect time to "reinvent" his character. Drop the SES and send him to Raw. He doesn't have anything going for him and hes being wasted on the B Show. He needs to be given a chance. I'd love to see him win the WWE title. He's over with the crowd so well that we don't need to see his presence often, yet when we do we still give him heat.

That's enough for a Raw push to replace Edge. With Randy gone there's only one face left. Edge was getting over well as a face before the sudden turn and nobody caught on. Creative should capitalize on that and turn him back face. Every main eventer besides Cena and Sheamus are gone. Anyone like the idea?

I agree with you on the point of dropping the SES but Smackdown needs all the help it can get. They lost all the big names that made the show really good. It's starting to go downhill to ECW status. I like the two separate brands but SD can almost not compete with RAW

Matt Hardy did it for a while last year. Orton won't wrestle, but he will involve himself as much as necessarry to stay relevant and keep getting the pops.

Sucks if he really is hurt though. I love where they were taking his character. Kinda crappy Twitter comments from Miiiiiiiiister AFTERTHOUGHT....afterthought. What kind of person wishes injury or applaudes injury on another person? I mean really...Karma? Guess that's why they are trying to make Anderson into TNA's tweener (ORTON!!)

No I don't like the idea, where would that leave Smackdown? I know Punk isn't currently chasing the title there but how many main eventers are even on Smackdown right now, like none. Besides we don't know if Orton is seriously hurt yet or if he will be able to get back in the ring soon so I think you're jumping the gun a bit on that. As for the SES it's not ending just because he lost his hair, it's the turning point in the storyline. I'm think Punk will go off the deep end and start going crazy on everyone as opposed to just trying to convert people, and don't forget the masked member Joey Abs just started attacking people. So basically no Punk won't go to Raw.

If Orton is seriously injured theirs Jericho who could always move from main-event to mid-card, Triple H might be returning soon, and maybe they could push someone like Morrison. Strange though they citing it as a seperated shoulder when he was clearly favouring his elbow/forearm. Wouldn't be the first time they bulshitted everyone with someones supposed injuries.
To me it looked like he did something to his elbow or forearm when he was setting up for the RKO.

Anyway this acutally sets up a perfect return he can come back with a cast regardless of whether its a shoulder or arm and take off where his father left off. The slowest healer in history

And who know's they were gonna announce another GM this monday so maybe Orton could take the spot. OK well thats silly but this is WWE we are talking about

That don't mean its a broken arm
if his shoulder was seperated/dislocated it could be hanging considerably lower, if his elbow was dislocated it would be hanging lower.

guess that's why anderson called himself an asshole, it all makes sense now lol. Although I do somewhat disagree with his statement for wishing injury on someone else. It was orton that bitched about anderson so his statements are just human reaction

I was at the show tonite and it looked like he broke it. I think you have to either transfer someone over to raw like maybe punk or undertaker or you elevate someone like john morrison k-kwik or maybe and Im going way out on a limb with this but maybe turn miz face? I will say raw is loaded with main event talent theyl be fine besides it shouldnt take that long for a bronken bone to heal.

Absolutely not. SD needs a top heel and CM Punk is it. Despite his loss, the Straight Edge Society is still strong and I still don't think there is a sign of it dying anytime soon. If Punk leaves, there just isn't anybody developed enough to take up the mantle of top heel. Heck there really isn't a top face either.

He was holding his forearm, which someone would do if they separated their shoulder. They'd want to support the shoulder so it wouldn't separate further.

I thought it was a separated shoulder. I could be wrong but they were mentioning on the PPV that Orton has had past shoulder troubles.

I am in agreement. Keep CM Punk on Smackdown. If anything, maybe bring Christian over as a short term gap filler in the main event. He can be the face that never wins the title... ironically the same role he has now. I would say though I can see the WWE trying to speed up HHH's filming with this injury to Orton. CM Punk needs to stay on Smackdown though.

i just watched the replay as he was walking away from the ring and i looked at his shoulder and it definately looked separated, but thats just my opinion, im not a doctor

This wont make any changes to raw. Back in 08 the same thing happened to Orton and he came back and was better than ever! If i know one thing RAW will push on and get through the time without orton, it will probably be a small amount of time with him out, hell be back with MRIs and X rays and what not. Then hell come back in action and have another rivalry with edge who might be WWE champ by then? who knows but it would be awesome if that happened.

If he out of months, and he probaly will be you can do two things. One, continue with a heavy dose of Cena and Sheamus feud. And two have Bret Hart vacate the title and have a 8 or 10 man tournament to name a new U.S. Champ. And strech the tournament out a bit.

I think the wwe will be looking for someone to take ortons place for a while and if that happens i see a good reason to push one of the young guys or bring in someone else to be in the main event picture.
