Marijuana was legalized by two states. Colorado and Washington. Also Rhode Island,Michigan,Massachutes,Oregon are all considering legalizing marijuana. Thats why the people of Colorado and Washington spoke and got marijuana legal. Oregon put up a good fight but I have strong confidence that marijuana will be legal next time there is a chance to vote for it to become legal. Soon after that when the people are functioning fine the world will start to realize that marijuana hasn't been the problem.

I don’t over do my pot smoking I smoke in moderation like millions of other responsible pot smokers. Your acting like as soon as marijuana will be made legal that the whole world will be smoking instantly at all times of the day and never stop. I already said marijuana has it’s negatives but the positives out weigh the negatives by a land slide. Places like Portugal and Amsterdam people don’t abuse smoking marijuana.
After marijuana is made legal we need to re educate the people all about marijuana because the average person doesn’t know anything about marijuana. All colleges should let their students read The Emperor Wears No Cloths as a assignment. Some people still think that it is a gateway drug and will kill you. People still look at marijuana and pot smokers like they are this terrible scum of the earth and shouldn’t be apart of society and that it’s a plant that will lead you to all sorts of wrong decisions. All of that is bull shit.
Only a small number of pot smokers are those lazy people who don’t do anything but most of them were also lazy before they started smoking pot. Most pot smokers are smart responiple people or people who are smoking because it saves their life. They are able to function with less pain and don’t have terrible side effects like other drugs.
Making marijuana legal and regulated will also keep less kids from smoking. For the average middle school/high school kid it is much easier to get illegal marijuana then getting legal alcohol and tobacco. Marijuana being legal has more positives than negatives so why keep it illegal. I feel that there are worse things that could happen and other things that are more important to worry about then if marijuana were legal it make the whole world smoke 24/7. There use to be a all for us to grow the plant and a time and when it was the most respected crop.
