Yeah, well this match card was pretty easy to write for me, I just had a lot of ideas for it, so I was able to do it pretty quickly.
IPW Explosion Pre Show Podcast:
A camera pans round a small crowd queuing outside the arena for the first IPW show. Edge is standing at a podium with Stephanie and he has a mike.
Edge: I am out here to give all you pieces of crap a personal guarantee. Tonight, I become the first Impact Pro Wrestling World Heavyweight Champion. I will do it by overcoming 10 other men in a Battle Royal.
Now I am going to explain this real simple for everyone here, especially all the dumb hermaphrodites in the back! 2 men start in the Battle Royal and will be joined by a superstar every two after that. You will leave the ring after being eliminated by being put over the top rope. The last man in the ring will be crowned the first Impact Pro Wrestling World Heavyweight Champion! Of course you peons know that man will be me!
Sexy Boy (HBKs music) starts and the crowd who have been booing Edge pop loudly. But HBK doesnt appear. After feigning surprise looks, Edge and Stephanie crack up with laughter, laughing at their own apparent supremacy and intelligence.
Steph takes the mic.
Steph: You people think he will beat Edge? You think he has a chance in hell of becoming the World Champion of my company? You are wrong, wrong, wrong and you know why, because Shawn Michaels will be the first man to enter the ring in the Battle Royal and the second will be Abyss!
The crowd boo as they realise that the Corporate Alliance is stacking the deck against the Heartbreak Kid.

The Battle Royal will feature a total of 9 members of the IPW roster who have held a World title in any previous company. This includes The Samoan Submission Machine Samoa Joe and Japanese legend Yokozuna.
We will also see the IPW debuts of Haku and the Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase in a match, which has been dubbed by some as Brains vs Brawn.
There will be a spectacular Light Heavyweight Division showcase. It is a Fatal Four Way featuring Jushin Thunder Liger, Petey Williams, KENTA and Tiger Mask. The first pinfall will win this match and will give an interesting idea as to who may be the favourites for the Light Heavyweight Tournament Semi Finals to be held at IPW's second show, Revolution.
Also announced for IPW Genesis is a Tag Team title match between the Kings of Wrestling, Chris Hero and Claudio Castagnoli and the Eliminators, Perry Saturn and John Kronus. This will be fought under Tornado Tag rules with No Disqualification.

Backstage and we see Psycho Sid... Ken Shamrock aproaches, the two stare at each other to the excitement of the fans...
Ken: "You heard Bischoff's promise, anyone capable of taking out Austin will be put into the GWA title match, in my opinion Sid no one on the whole entire roster deserves this more than us, tonight i propose you and me take out Austin after his match, then when all is said and done me and you go toe to toe at GWA PLATINUM and steal the show with the best match of the night? you on?"
Sid doesnt reply...
Later... Interview with Stone Cold:
"there's a reason the rattlesnake didn't want ken shamrock nor psycho sid and the bottom line is that they stink, they'll never keep the rattlesnake down so let them come tonight, let them bring abything they want and I'll beat those Bastards down! Bischoff says anyone capable of getting Austin out of his match at Platinum gets a title shot well then let it be, Austin has a promise of his own, anyone who takes Austin out is worthy of a shot at Austin, so the winner of there match at Platinum gets to take on Austin one on one at the next PPV!"
Later.. the ending of an Austin vs MVP match in which Austin looked on top form and dominated throughout, Austin hits a stunner, this ones over but no, the referees not counting... he leans over and whispers to the ring announcer..
Ring Anouncer: "the referee would now like to announce that this has become a no Disqualification match..."
Austin goes over to the refferee furious, just then; Sid and Shamrock jump the guard rail, Shamrock has a pole! He takes a diving attak at austins knee which buckles. Sid enters the ring and power bombs Austin. Shamrock puts in an ankle lock and Austin writhes in pain.. Meanwhile Psyhco Sid leaves the ring and clears the announc table, he comes back onto the ringside and tells Shamrock to pass Austin over to him, Shamrock releases the ankle lock and passes Austin over to Sid. Psycho Sid holds Austin in the powerbomb position on ringside, he then leaps and delivers an earth shattering powerbomb write through the ring table. Trainers, EMT's and all of the backstage team rush down to Austin, he is put on a stretcher. Shamrock and Sid stand tall in the ring...
Bischoff comes out, as Austin passes him on the stretcher he announces: "The two men who will face off for my GWA title at platinum... Psycho Sid and Ken Shamrock!"

Davey: "Tom... look, you and me have done it all, we've battled all other teams around the world winning gold wherever we go, but this ones different, my dream is to win gold with my son, to take on the world with my son, he'll be my partner on saturday."
Tom B: That's bullshit...

Owen: oh dear will you look at that, well isn't that something. The Rock comes here tonight thinking about how he is going to walk into UWE's Awakening, beat two jabroni's candy asses and walk out the new UWE Champion. If ya smell.." The Rock is interrupted by the music of Chris Jericho, Jericho walks down to the ring and grabs a mic.
"Thats pretty funny junior, did I just here you say that you are going to walk out of Awakening the new UWE Champion? Well thats not going to happen Rock, cause I am walking out with the UWE championship around my waste. You see Rock, let me remind you, I was the first ever Undisputed World Heavyeight Champion in the WWE, I became the first Undisputed Champion by beating you and that other ass clown in the same night. And I see no reason, no I guarntee that the same thing will happen at Awakening and I will be walking out the first ever UWE Champion."
"Woh, woh, woh, hold on a second. You Y2J Chris Jericho, you think that you are walking out of Awakening the UWE Champion. Is that what you think?"
"Well, ye.."
"It doesn't matter what you think. "Whats up Holmes'? You see I was backstage minding my own business, stealing this crappy Y2J t-shirt and this ugly pair of sunglasses, when I heard the two of you out here arguing about who was going to become the first UWE Champion. Well let me tell you something, holmes, neither of you are going to win that belt. That belt is mine and I will do anything that it takes to walk out with it at Awakening, I dont care if I have to lie, cheat or steal, I will be walking out of Awakening the new UWE Champion!"
"Hey its Eddie Guerrero, Latino Heat, so you think that you are walking out of Awakening the new Champion, well let The Rock assure you thats not going to happen, but if you are sure of that, why wait to Awakening, The Rock says Just Bring It."
Eddie starts walking to the ring, Jericho attacks The Rock from behind, Eddie gets in and starts brawling with Jericho, all three start to brawl, security rushes out and breaks them up as UWE goes off the air.....What a battle is shaping up for UWE's Awakening, who is gonna walk out the UWE champion???
