TNA iMPACT! & ReAction LD for 12/23/10

Back in 93 at the Survivor Series: Savage, Hall, Waltman and Jannetty were a team. IMAGINE the conversation on the apron.

And so, once again, they set up a match that we won't get to for months because they booked themselves into a corner with the Anderson/Morgan stuff so instead of getting to RVD first we get to the winner of that instead.

WTF are you talking about booked themselves into a corner. They are holding off on that on purpose. Build it up and kayfabe Hardy wants nothing to do with RVD.

Can we just call you hemmorhoid, because you sir are a pain in the ass. By pushing something aside, you are not "building it up". The main story now is Morgan/Anderson. While Anderson was Hardy's tag team partner, that aspect has been ignored due to his concussion. Morgan stepped up because of that and left Immortal so it's that. However, the biggest stories could and should have been Angle getting screwed out of retirement and his gripe with Immortal and his friend Hogan screwing him, as well as RVD being brutalized because of his supposed best friend. Those stories mean NOTHING now as Angle will return against Jarrett for no reason other than a little confrontation after BFG, and RVD has been caught up in garbage for two months, and now that they have "teased" the tension between him and Jeff, it won't be an issue again for months.

They were backed into a corner with turning Jeff as it pissed off a lot of people and you can't possibly run that many storylines with him concurrently, especially if he isn't going to be present week in and week out.

On top of all that, if Matt Morgan doesn't win the title, and Anderson doesn't either, you get to RVD which is nice. The problem is, then you just justified concussions and that you can be a moron and cause concussions and the good guys who get them or stand up against them are losers who can't overcome a stupid, drug addicted bully. Whether RVD gets the best of Jeff Hardy is irrelevant, because you created a story where the good guys HAVE to win, and they won't.

And so RVD is the guy that everyone wants to see fight him right? But that's not going to happen right? Because instead we need Morgan or Anderson instead. It's what they did this year with Pope and the matches in between meant notthing because you knew it was going to be Pope vs. AJ next.

Oh and before I forget, it has now been one Impact without Magnus since SD said this:

They are going to use him. That is why he was there. Probably going to have a face british invasion for the eurotour or something like that.

We'll see how far this can go.

So they mean nothing because you put it in all caps? RVD has cut promos on never losing his title and Jeff since. Jeff has talked about RVD. The story is continued by immortal screwing with RVD to keep him distrustful and out of the title scene. Now RVD has dealt with that and they are picking the build back up. RVD still has to find a way to get that shot with immortal in charge. Why can't that part happen while the winner of morgan-anderson gets their shot? It is a slow build. I am not saying it is the right or wrong way to go about it. However, one thing I think is indisputable is that they are doing it on purpose.

Justify concussions? Drug addict? Overstate much?

So you are complaining about Magnus not being on the show a week after you complained about him being there? Wouldn't surprise me if he had an xplosion match anyway this week.

No, I'm not overstating at all. When you create a storyline like that where reality is brought into it, the fan sees the babyfaces as those who stand up for what's right, just as they did. The heels (Hardy and Bischoff) are the ones being ********s about it and not caring about a person's life or health, which is a lot worse than a typical heel. It's downright terrible and knowing what we know in wrestling, concussions can lead down a terrible road. Thus, you create a story like that in the short term, you don't realize that the long term result HAS to be that the faces win. It has to be, regardless of what you planned later. If they do not win, it tells the audience that the guys who don't care about human life and brain function were right all along. That's what matches and feuds decide (who was right). So if we figure that the heated former friend feud between RVD and Hardy will happen (and we are assuming it will for the title), then Anderson and Morgan will lose and Jeff Hardy, the man who doesn't care about someone's health and livlihood, wins that feud. The RVD feud is the better feud as while it brings in the morality of brutalizing a friend, this wasn't real. Anderson's concussion was and most people know that. Thus, real humanity goes out the window because it was just a short term fix and "cool" because it incorporated real life into a story. Unfortunately, the message you are sending sucks. That is, unless Morgan wins the title, or even Anderson, and then Hardy feuds with RVD without the title, if there's a way to make that work.
