They are Hardy, Jarrett, Abyss, Hogan and Bischoff; The Immortals

You really want to know why Joe isnt in they. Because TNA decided not to include Joe because they didnt want him in they. That good enough for you. Just watch the show.

Yeah so now we get the cocky internet nerd thinking he's big behind a computer :lmao: I asked a simple question because Joe was KIDNAPPED and when he returned said THEY had spoken, the only "they" in TNA for the past few months is Bischoff, Hogan and crew, so that's why I asked, dick.

Like all other factions "they" will most likely have a name soon. It can't be simply "they" because everyone knows who "they" are, they've gotta have a name.

I wouldn't be surprised with Bischoff making something like TWO/2 (TNA World Order) or NTWO/2 (New TNA World Order)

So what do you guys think they (pun intended) will be officially called?

Not really sure about what they'll name themselves at this point. I don't know if they'll just announce a name this Thursday or not because I don't think they're done inducting members into the group. Hogan & Bischoff are definitely the mouthpieces of the faction, Jarrett could be considered in that role as well but will probably be an active wrestler on occassion, which leaves only Jeff Hardy & Abyss as the full time in-ring representatives of the group.

I might be wrong, but I don't think that's really enough to ultimately get the job done and sustain them in the long run.

Well: I think if TNA is smart. Joe will soon be revealed as part of "they". Just so the kidnapping angle isnt just forgotten. But it also wouldnt suprise me to see TNA just "forget" that Joe was the original "they guy".

Maybe in a couple/few weeks Joe makes the switch. Obviously the turn would happen when it makes sense, to give "they" some kind of advantage. Plus, lets be honest: Hardy, Abyss & Jarrett(I guess) are the only actual wrestlers in "they". I think they need some more fire-power in this stable!!

The one problem I see with Joe goin to "they" would be the fact that I dont think Joe can be booed in the Impact Zone. I feel like TNA has tried to make him heel in the past & he just constantly gets cheered. So- he(Joe) or "they" would have to do something drastic to get the IZ to boo him.

So- theres either a Joe swerve coming or TNA will just never acknowledge that Joe was ever kid-napped again

OK- im going off of a bad Captain Morgan induced memory from lastnight:

I saw a sign in the front row at BFG lastnite that read: "NWE" (man- im pretty sure thats what it said. Im 98% sure the first 2 letters were NW tho) But I saw it & remembered thinking: What the hell is "NWE". It automatically popped into my head: Wouldnt that be fucked up if TNA planted that sign there to see if anyone noticed it. All I know is: if "they" turn into "NWE" or NW...something- (who knows what it stands for) then im gonna be impressed!

OK- im just thinking outloud now...I should go to bed

I could easily see TNA play on the nWo name, and make something similar. Same as with EV 2.0 playing on the "Extreme" element of the ECW wrestlers history, I wouldnt be at all surprised for Bischoff and Hogan to call the faction "The Order" or something like that. Maybe TWO- The TNA World Order, or "NWE" -New World Elite

Hell, he already referred to himself as "Hollywood" Hogan, so they are already making nWo style references.

I agree, they are not done introducing members. I read the spoilers and .. things happened let's just leave it at that. It's not just Abyss, Hardy and JJ.

As far as a name goes I would prefer it if it had NOTHING to do with nWO or any type of world or other order. Flair didn't name Fourtune The Four Horsemen, and nor should TNA name this new faction NWO. I hope they'll use their creativity and come up with something catchy.

From my view on why he isn't there, hes too much a face. Joe i'm sure can pull off a heel turn but TNA needs him to be face right now it looks like. Knowing how TNA is though, they could still stick Joe in "they" group.

True, Flair didnt name the faction The Four Horsemen, but he DID play off the name of the Horsemen, using FOUR in the name Fourtune, therefore referencing the original faction.

I am not saying TNA will reference the nWo in the name of "THEY", but I wouldnt be surprised if they did, as the company does love nostalgia and mentioning the past, and they could believe that putting the nWo in peoples mind will automatically add credibility to the faction and as people loved nWo in WCW, then the memory will encourage them to watch a re-incarnation of this faction in TNA.

No, Joe needs to be that guy who doesn't takes sides and just kicks everyone's ass. Just like at the PPV after Jarret left, the pope and them looked at him like they were going to stop the match until Joe gave them the finger and tried to fight them. Joe is supposed to be the crazie SOB against "Them" but yet not form too much of an alliance with other "faces".

I believe I said it before, but i think Joe's kidnapping was just a plot device, even though he reffered to "They". I could be wrong, though. It's a complex storyline and the abduction could make sense in the long run and I kinda hope it will.

It was hardly a 'complex' storyline.. it turned out to be partial rehash nWo with a random heel turn that makes no sense dropped in *Hardy*.

We all have to admit, Hardy turned Heel for the shock value only.. it makes ZERO sense otherwise.

Turning Cena to join Nexus at Summerslam would have been shocking, it would have also been ******ed storyline wise.

This is why WWE wins and TNA has Russo.

They should name themselves as just "they". Just write it in some fancy font on some t-shirts and it should be enough. Why would they need any other name, especially a name that is derived from nWo such as TWO/2 (TNA World Order) or NTWO/2 (New TNA World Order)?

Hmm, I was thinking about this earlier. I was thinking they might bill this as the revived "Kings Of Wrestling" faction which was led by Jeff Jarett a few years ago. I reckon that would be cool considering Jeff Hardy was originally one of the enemies of the Kings of Wrestling. Plus I still like the name and it fits. They truly are the Kings of Wrestling at the moment.

Why isn't Joe in "they?" Oh don't worry, he will be.

You can count on the fact that over the next several months, people will be added to and subtracted from this new "faction" like it's going out of style. There'll be a white "they," a red "they," probably a blue "they," hell even a latino "they."

In an effort to make sense of the angle, and in keeping with TNA's apparent affinity for senseless and illogical swerves, changes made just for shock value, things to dupe the IWC, I expect to see everything and anything get thrown into the pot, stirred up, and see how things all settle out afterwards. If Hardy is a bad heel champion (not saying he will be so relax marks), they'll kick him out at some PPV and replace him with someone else. Nash will probably get added at some point, and I expect to see Jarrett get the boot at some point. A mish mash of comings and goings, just like 15 years ago.

Joe is a better face than heel that's why. He will probably get a team together to face "They" (That is if he can get back in shape, otherwise I really don't care what they do with Joe), but the thing I don't get is that if Joe does start a faction to go against "They" it would mean all the fueds in TNA (Excluding the knockouts) are based around 2 factions facing eachother, it seems lazy.

How about "a complete waste of two months of hype?" Hogan is done, he was only interesting because he could still become physically involved. Jarrett is too old and in the big picture, is a "never was". Abyss is just not a star, and Bischoff is the same Bischoff. With all the weird build up, "They" needed to be something completely different. Some kind of Undertaker/Kane type of characters or a group of voodoo wrestlers maybe fronted by Papa Shango who could control Abyss and other disturbed souls. Goldberg and Austin, JBL and someone playing Ted Turners illegitimate son, Jericho and Shane McMahon, Warrior, a foreign invasion with wrestlers, a frontman and a team of investors, the trio of Paul E Dangerously, JJ Dillon, and Jim Cornette, just something shocking and completely different, not the same old crap, not even really repackaged or anything.

What do you mean not repackaged.. they turned Hardy.. you know.. the charismatic genius that he is.. in to a Heel... when he can barely talk as a face... and now.. he will be the top guy in a heel stable.. that .. is ... genius.

Not to mention he will likely be in prison in a few months.

Regardless.. if anyone didn't see this turn coming from day 1 of Hogan arriving then you are silly people.

As for the name.

If they went with "The Order"

We don't know yet if 'They' has become a big disappointment like most people think they became yet or not. But if you want to keep it from being a big disappointment, I think should not truly unfold yet. Maybe 'They' have came, but does it mean Hogan, Bischoff, or Jarrett is the leaders? Abyss said that 'They' will come to take out everybody in TNA. My suggesting is turn 'They' into 'He' and sign someone big. If TNA was close to making Heyman a deal, maybe they should snag that deal now and offer him his deal. Then during the whole time that 'They' is dominating. Word can be going around through those five that 'He' not happy that they are getting the job done on time. That could make 'They' not as big a disappointment as we say it is.

I really hope it's not some lame bastardized version of "NWO", much like ECW became "EV2.0" or "that South Philadephia promotion", but as much as I hope that, it feels like they'll just go with "TWO" given their lack of naming flair.

I questioned Joe's kidnapping and hoped we would get an answer for that as well at BFG. After that fiasco I wont bother questioning anything they come up with. Here is a list I found of illogical crap proving that the storyline is week to week and not some big plot months in the making:

June 17th- Abyss chokeslams Hardy off of the stage and through a table

June 24th- Abyss tells Hogan "they" are coming and then chokes him while shoving hogans ring down his throat. Later on Hogan hits Abyss with a chair

July 1st- Hogan and Abyss brawl. Hardy makes the save by giving Abyss the twist of fate and a senton. Later Abyss and Hardy have a match full of hatred induced violence.

July 8th- Hardy and Mr. Anderson double team Abyss and hit him with a chair

Aug 19th- Hardy and Abyss have a nearly 5 minute backstage brawl

Oct 7th- Abyss eliminates Jarrett and Hardy from a battle royal costing them "100,000 dollars"

Oct 10th- SWERVE!!!!

Sheesh I'm beginning to hate these too fat comments about Joe... he is probably more fit than the top wrestlers, maybe he just doesn't loose weight I'm sure he would want to but he can't...

Joe would have worked in the "They" story appart from the fact I think Abyss beat up Joe at one point so they kinda shot themselves in their foot if they did want him with "They". I'm sure he'll get recruited though either into Fortune or "They".

False.

"They" were revealed, and "They" are Jeff Hardy, Jeff Jarrett, Abyss, Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff.

Still don't believe me?

How about now?

Well, if "They" are Jeff Hardy, Jeff Jarrett, Abyss, Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff I think it's pretty lame. I still stand by my idea that maybe "they" never existed and it was this that was the deception Sting was on about. The deception also extends to the IWC too. They put so many red herrings out there - Janice and Bob also being dixie's parents, the AAA wrestler signing for tna and making his debut at BFG in a stable with abyss, rumours of james mitchell and christopher daniels coming back, using phrases like "at BFG, the walls will be broken down" implying it would be Jericho, backstage unrest with the tna originals, all the Heyman rumours etc - ALL of these were "clues" put out there by TNA yet you still believe what they've put up on their website? How do you know they're not using that to work their audience too? I guess you must have believed WWE when it was reported on their site that Hardy was attacked in a stairwell?

Not only are Hogan and Bischoff using deception to get what they want in storyline but they are also playing the IWC with smoke & mirrors.

I am probably wrong and maybe i've come to this conclusion simply because I don't want to admit that for 9 months I was drawn into a story, and believed the company was doing good work, only to be let down again by TNA.

I will watch impact this week and if Hogan et al come down and say that they were, er "they", it will, for me, be a huge let down. If they come out - or even better, if Sting comes out and says that "they" was all smoke and mirrors to distract from Hardy and to put Dixie under stress so she thinks irrationally, then it's a work of genius. However, I fear it will be the former.
