I'll hopefully be seeing them at Leeds fest in August. I've only got The Shape Of Punk To Come but this song certainly makes me interested in new material.

Has anyone else seen (and read) the conspiracy rant made by After The Burials now-ex guitarist? His family and close friends think it might be a schizophrenic break, and reading through some of the ramblings, I'd agree...

Found these guys by accident as I follow the guy who's done their album artwork. I think they're pretty good

Got a cool melodic hardcore feel to them

Also, Lamb of God just released "Embers" featuring Chino Moreno from the Deftones:

Can't wait for this album, one of my favorite bands, and always consistently awesome. Randy has always been a great storytelling lyricist and I imagine with his recent experiences during the Czech manslaughter charges and imprisonment, this new album will be exceedingly heavy in imagery and recollection.

Just bought Bleeding Through's Declaration album. Sounds pretty good. What was funny was I bought from Amazon for £5.50 and got the free MP3 which was cheaper than just buying the MP3.

It's a good album but not their best. I am a big Bleeding Through fan myself. To me, I will always love The Truth as my favorite album. Sucks that I will never see them live.

New Kataklsym is coming. I never realized these guys release an album yearly. Crazy. I preordered new Lamb of God and seeing them Saturday with my girlfriend. She cannot get into them so I hope she enjoys the show.

Went to Mayhem Fest yesterday, Jungle Rot kicked ass, first time seeing them live. Was pleasantly surprised with how heavy King Diamond was and SLAYER is just SLAYER, the greatest band in the world. The new song Repentless sounds much better live than in the studio so that was cool.

The rest of the day was pretty meh, especially Hellyeah, they were fucking awful.

Will be interesting to see if the tour survives for another year, we had lawn seats and got moved into the pavilion for the 4 main stage bands because attendance was so low. I'd guess between 6-6,500 people. 2012 when Slipknot, SLAYER and Motorhead co-headlined there were 12,000 I believe at the Pittsburgh show.

I'll be honest I got that one because Jona Weinhofen from I Killed The Prom Queen is on it (one of my favourite bands right now). I'll check out The Truth as well. I've heard that one is really good.

The album is awesome for sure. Let me know what you think of it.

YES! Caligula's Horse are releasing a new record this October!

Fans of Tool, A Perfect Circle, TesseracT and Arcane (same singer as Caligula's Horse — Jim Grey) check this out!

Well that explains why they're backing up tesseract when I see tesseract in October. Saw caligulas horse when I saw The Ocean (fuck me, check out Pelagial if you get the chance, pure excellence) and apart from two or three songs I didn't really like them.

You didn't like The Ocean, M?

I am not a fan either. I have tried and tried but cannot do it.

Saw Slipknot, Lamb of God, Bullet For My Valentine and Motionless In White this past saturday. Show was epic. Fucking epic. Killpop live was beautiful along AOV.

Checking out The Ocean tonight, probably give the whole record a listen tomorrow.

Caligula's Horse is Jim Grey's project, same singer as Arcane. So if you weren't into Caligula's Horse you wouldn't like Arcane either I don't think.

Thus far into The Ocean, I dig the music, I dig the melody. Cant' stand the singer. It's like they took Avenged Sevenfold and had their shitty singer ruin an otherwise great band. Too metalcore.

Felt the same way about Moonspell. Fernando Ribeiro has a fantastic vocal range, and then ruins most tracks by turning the wonderful, haunting melodic metal into an Unearth cover band.

If they stuck to this, I'd be such a massive, massive fan.

Exactly. Spot on IDR. Moonspell is from Portugal ( I am Portuguese) but cannot get into it. I dig metalcore, well some, but The Ocean is just not my thing.

Albums I am waiting for are Kataklsym, BFMV, 5FDP, Soilwork, Disturbed and Trivium. \m/

Moonspell's other tracks, especially off this last record, are fantastic. Incredible vocal range. Wonderful melodies. But man, at least two or three of the tracks, including the title track, are just ruined by the Unearth impression. WOOF.

I'm excited for the new Kataklysm, 5FDP, Soilwork and Trivium. Disturbed is OK. But they've never been a band I reach out for. Just one I listen to when it's on, like when I've got Spotify on radio or whatever.
