The King of Pop is Dead: Long Live Michael Jackson

I still can't believe it. There was only one singer who I was interested in when I was growing up, and that was Michael Jackson. I didn't care about anyone else. His music is so legendary, and his videos will never be topped. Probably 5 of my top 10 songs of all time are by him. He just had such a great charisma about him, there will never, ever be another one like him.

It's no coincidence that all three are awesome...it's in the jacket man.

They just had Donald fucking Trump on Dateline talking about MJ's marriage to Lisa Marie Presley. How random.

Damn thunderstorms knocked out the power !!!

I only made it fifteen minutes into Dateline.

Thank God for laptops !!!!

I had no power for three or so hours. I sat in the dark, with my ipod, and popped on MJ.

I was really starting to get into him lately. I even made a stable for him in OCW: Thriller and The Smooth Criminal with their manager Billie Jean. I've never been affected by the death of a celebrity until now.

lol nobody in America is watching the draft, any TV shows on tonight are going to have a serious drop in ratings I'm guessing.

So now theres talk that prescription drugs may have been involved. That would be a shame.

You can blame it on prescription drugs all you want, I'm blaming it on the boogie.

Man, I really need to listen to some more of his music. Man this sucks so bad, I heard him singing You're Not Alone and I almost brokedown there. I don't own any of his stuff, but he was still amazing, I regret never have listened to him much before.

damn that sucks dude. Jackson was an awesome artist, when I heard this at work during my break I had to go to youtube on my celly and listen to thriller and smooth criminal. Jackson, you will be missed :icon_cry:

I never really gave him too much thought... but when I heard it I thought it was like a lie. He just seems like an icon who wouldn't die... it's weird. I know I wasn't alive at the time but it's a lot like John Lennon. They're representations of music. And when I was watching the news and seeing him as a kid, and watching his interviews and just seeing how sad he was.. I honestly had tears in my eyes. RIP.

Damn. He died on the 5th anniversary of my sister's death. hm. My sister.. she loved MJ. I hope she's up in heaven chillin' with the King.

RIP Jacko. Your music was pretty much awesome. They are playing it on the radio know, forgot how good he was. Will be missed.

Wow, this is a sad day. I couldn't believe it when I heard it. He always seemed larger than life. He is one the of most successful musicians of all time. He was a great stage performer. HE may have done things in his personal life that I, nor anyone, would agree with. But they were just accusations and he was proven not guilty. The only people that know the truth about that are him, the families, and God. So I have to seperate his professional life with his personal life. Millions of people grew up on his music and tried to copy his dance moves. Hell, I was even trying to do the moon walk last night. Its a terrible thing to hear. While he may have been a weird man, he was extremely talented.

RIP Michael, you will be missed, but never forgotten.
