Nope, a burial is completely out of the hands of the performer; it is management's decision whether or not they want to bury someone. The definition of burial straight from wikipedia :

The worked lowering (relegation) of a popular wrestler's status in the eyes of the fans. It is the act of a promoter or booker causing a wrestler to lose popularity by forcing him to lose in squash matches, continuously, and/or participate in unentertaining or degrading storylines. It can be a form of punishment for real-life backstage disagreements or feuds between the wrestler and the booker, the wrestler falling out of favor with the company, or the wrestler receiving an unpopular gimmick that causes him to lose credibility regardless of win-loss record.

WWE fans hijacking shows because Zack Ryder didn't get a push is one of the dumbest things I've ever heard. Damian Sandow is one of these "over" stars like Ryder was and I've never once heard fans cheer for him when he wasn't featured.

Remember a few years ago when you said Ryder should have gotten a midcard run, and I pointed out that he DID get that run?

They buried him for absolutely no reason.

His popularity waned when Jersey Shore's popularity waned. He was nothing more than mimicking that abortion of a show, and he couldn't even do that right. When he was let go, a bunch of wrestling hipsters started liking him ironically. WWE saw through this, put a belt on him and made him a cash cow for a little while, and then chuckled as Cena stole his girlfriend.

To think anyone threatened to hijack the show due to Zack Ryder is the greatest bit of drivel I've ever read on these forums.
