I like how everyone is pitching a bitch fit over CM Punk, when we also witnessed one of the most absolutely dumb title changes ever tonight.
they build Ortons character all the way up to loose to Batista, who is gonna drop it tomorrow night. and they KNEW he had a torn muscle, and had him win it anyway.

Having kept his name and look, I honestly doubt this is all WWE's Punk has to offer. I really have trouble making the distinction. That's just me though. Clearly I need to settle down though.

I respect that. At the same token I'm not sitting there hoping for the heels to get the bigger pops or the cheers from the audience. I just think (the ones I like) are more flexible. Like I said, I found the Legend Killer gimmick highly entertaining, I don't love Edge, but I don't mind him and I think his gimmick is cool. I don't route for him much because he's usually facing my favorites, but he has a better character to play and I can respect his job.
Basically, I wouldn't go to an event trying to discredit everyone's efforts. I just like the best characters. If he's heel he's heel, if he's face he's face.

I think the Batista title change, if anything else, shows just how much of a clusterfuck Raw truly has become.
At least CM Punk's title win makes sense. They don't want to put the belt on Jeff, because he may be leaving, and they also want to put the title off of Edge for.... Well, I'm sure they have a good reason.

CM Punk is the most logical choice. He will be the top face in the main event of Smackdown if Jeff Hardy walks away. I hope they give him a nice lengthy title reign.

Just woke up to the results. I was quite suprised about the multiple title changes in one night. I was most suprised by the Punk, I honestly thought they were giving Edge his lengthy title reign. But it was a sign on times changing, glad Jeff Hardy is a two time World Champion, shame both reigns are shorter than a monkey's little finger.
So question is, what happens now with Dreamer?

CM Punk is wearing Speights trunks
Just watched the PPV now and have to say it was a great PPV. The Jericho - Mysterio match was good, Cena-Show was a little boring as was the 7 min cage match. Didnt really see the point in having Batista win if he is injured but I guess they want to give him more title regins than he probably deserves.
Match of the night was the ladder match, some great spots in it best one for me was the Twist Of Fate in mid air, an not a swanton in sight which i thought was a bit strange.
I marked out like crazy when Hardy won, 2 time champion now, throughly deserved. My mark out soon turned to disappointment when Punks music hit, but only because I knew Jeff was about to lose although the kick out of the GTS and the roll up had me pumped thinking Hardy was going to pick up the victory.... but alas it was not to be.
Punk cashing in was an awesome idea, Im probably the biggest Hardy fan in the UK and I nothing CM Punk, he doesnt entertain me or bore me I just dont care about him, but I kinda marked out for him when he picked up the title as if Jeffs leaving he shouldnt be champion. Now we can look forward to the potential triple threat Summerslam match.
