I dont personally care for Cena with that in mind. This isnt how Cena needs to lose the title. As soon as he comes back it ll probably be back to being the same old shit.He needed to be beat to lose the title not forfeit it.It ll be interesting to see the crowd's reaction when he comes back.

I think this is the greatest thing to happen in the WWE since the formation of the Ministry (which pwned by the way) I mean come on it was Cena this and Cena that. He was being forced down our throats.

Him being out of action for this amount of time is good news everyone. Ratings will drop for a little bit because now the women and children have los their hero. But don't worry things will pick up once more.

I second that, now don't get wrong, I am wanting Orton to become champion, not because I hate Cena but because I think it's time for Orton to step up.

What makes me laugh is all the Cena haters, I don't understand why, I am not a mega Cena fan, but he is the number 1 guy at this time, fact and the abuse he get's from the IWC and the live crowds isn't deserved, it's almost like people boo him because it's the cool thing to do.

There are also people who are happy that he is injured, some people are saying this is the best thing to happan to the IWC, that is a horrible thing to say.

I hope Cena recovers from this, and when he returns, I hope that he gets the respect he returns, rather than having stupid little fools booing him upon his return.

Reading some of the replies in this thread, and others, I've just come to realize how idiotic and immature and completely self-absorbed some "fans" (I'd rather call them morons) are in their ménage of hate towards John Cena. To borrow a line from Edge, you who are "celebrating" couldn't walk a foot in his boots, let alone a mile.

WWE's had a run of bad luck, and this is a HUGE blow. I can't imagine John being out for so long, missing Wrestlemania of all things. I think he literally held the company up on his shoulders, and I don't see who can support it like John did. The IWC might think they're the majority of fans, but they're not, and the majority of fans tune in to see Cena.

On another note, I feel extremely bad for John, it must suck to get injured at the top. I wish him a safe and healthy return.

Although im not a big Cena fan and I think it will make Raw much more interesting without Cena being shoved down our throats, with that being said I wish him a speedy recovery.

Maybe with Cena being injured, WWE will push for Jericho to turn up earlier and fight Orton for the title. (Thats probably just wishful thinking but it would kick ass)

I think the best thing for them to do would be to either have a battle royale, or have a tournement similar to survivor series 1998 that would be awsome. I think also in the short term No Mercy PPV buys will sore, because everyone will want to see what happens. Of course the other thing WWE could do would have Vince declare Orton the champion then have Jericho return and have a title match, but i think that is very unlikely. I think WWE might even push Shelton and have him feud with Orton for the Title rather than HHH which we have all seen before.

Well he isn't dead. He is just out of action for 6-8 months. He was a champion that carried the business on his shoulders while HHH and Michaels were injured. He helped in making some great matches and good feuds. Cena and his storyline could be entertaining. Actually his mic skills are above par, better than most. Wishing injury and not a speedy recover is nothing but immaturity. He was willing to Work No Mercy with an injury which IMO even if the match was terrible is a heart of a champion. He was willing to work a match to relinquish the title by losing fairly, he dedicates his time to the business and myself wish him a speedy recovery and i will be thrilled when i see him in 6-8 months.

I Liked cena, albeit i wanted him to drop the title to orton, But probably triple H will get it And Lords knows he doesn't deserve it. Orton better win, It's the logical choice. But What do i know. Triple H Will flex his muscles and end up in the title match, Pedigree everybody and walk out champ after being injured for 9 months and being back barely any time at all.Fuck

I for one believe that Cena's microphone skills are vastly overrated. He's nothing out of the ordinary if you ask me. I'll be honest, I haven't liked him in a while, I can't ever say I ever truly respected him, and nothing's about to change. I never once said "Yay, Cena's hurt", I just don't see why I can't be happy that a man that I hated as WWE Champion has been dethroned. Besides, I'm sure he'll come back, albeit slightly more injury prone, and he'll be back on top in no time. For now, I'll enjoy the time he's not champion. I don't see anything wrong with that.

Anyway.. Cena is the top man in the WWE right now. Although I was getting sick of seeing a man with that little talent hold the same title Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart fought over, I would never want him to be injured.

Despite what many think, ratings WILL go up. Everyone will be tuning in to see what is going to happen for the next couple of weeks. After that, unfortunately, ratings will go back down. Crowning a new champion will not fix the problem.

Hopefully a major name will be returning at No Mercy, whether that be HBK or Chris Jericho

With John Cena out I think this may allow other superstars to start rising the ranks during his absense, names like Kennedy, Hardy perhaps, and etc. Although Cena was very popular with the younger crowd I believe someone will be set up to be a face for the children and ratings should hold alright.

It'll be interesting to see how they play this out, I'm in no way saying I'm glad cena is hurt but I am saying I'm going to enjoy seeing a show where someone isn't at an "untouchable" "Unbeatable" status.... Until Triple H gets the belt....

Im a Triple H fan, buy I think, that at this moment Triple H should not be champion... He must chase the title, like Batista did. I can't see Ken Kennedy as champion either, it's to soon... In the moment, with Booker suspended, Orton is the natural choice.
