Look at Angle's matches now and look at his matches in WWE..They don't even compare.
I agree. However, his matches with Styles have been and will be awesome.
Kurt's not exactly putting on 5 star matches everytime out...
You can't name anyone as consistently entertaining as him in the ring though.
When he first came to TNA, his matches with Joe were phenomenal..But since then hes been very inconsistent..His matches with Sting were horrible,
He had like what? Two? Both ruined by Kevin Nash as best as I can remember.
his matches with Christian were okay but nothing special,
Underrated. Both the matches and the wrestler (Cage).
his second round of matches with Joe were ok but not nearly as good as the first...It's just been up and down and it's not like he's been put in feuds with guys who can't wrestle and he has to carry.
Still better than any other North American wrestler there is, I'd wager.
His match with AJ was pretty good, but nowhere near as good as I expected...And I still can't remember an Impact where AJ got the upperhand..I could be wrong but I don't remember one. Having him win on a PPV means nothing if hes pummeled on ever Impact. That's like Edge getting the upperhand on Batista every SD. It does nothing for Batista's credibility even if he does defeat Edge at Night of Champions.
AJ's had the upper hand tons of times. TNA management seem to like him ultimately getting caned though.
Triple H has made John Cena look like gold in their feuds... How many of Cena's feuds have actually been that memorable? The one with Orton was good, Triple H, I enjoyed his feud with Kurt Angle. I don't remember much beyond that as far as memorable. Kurt Angle has a chance to elevate SO many superstars, like AJ Styles, Abyss, Kaz(that 1 title match doesn't count, i'm talking FEUD wise), Jay Lethal(same thing), Tomko...But beating them every Impact then letting them win on a PPV doesn't do Anything to elevate a Superstar..
Lethal went over Angle clean. Abyss may as well have. Kaz is shit and didn't deserve to be made to look nearly as good as he did, but Cage made him look like gold in their match. Tomko made Angle look like a bitch. Nobody will look better than Angle, and nobody should be able to consistently beat Angle - he's too good and TNA can't afford to make him look weak. TNA isn't stacked with name talent like WWE is.
It just makes people think it's a fluke and that it couldn't happen again.
Have you seen the Tomko match? What happens when clean wins go bad. And Joe's wins don't look anything like flukes. Not to mention Angle beating people after losing to them makes them look on par if anything.
