Correct.

And then Cardinal can respond to you and try to defend his argument / refute your objections. So your posts can also work against you if Cardinal can turn them back into a positive for himself.

But in the unlikely event it does, we would look objectively at: did the OP just do such a magnificent job of asserting the position that nobody could poke holes in it? Or was the OP so poor that it did not drive discussion?
