Brady broke two of his ribs a few weeks ago. He's been playing hurt the last few games.

But the Jets seem to be 1 step closer to hosting the AFC Championship game. All we need is for Jets and Ravens to win next week against the 2 best teams in the NFL. It can happen

Why was the Todd Heap (a rather vital part of the offense) even in the game at this point. Now he may be done for a while. That looked bad.
Ah well, this just wasn't our year. This NE team is one that really is in transition from the dynasty of this past decade. We need to get some youth on this team, but most of all we need to get some damn playmakers on defense and a starting RB that doesn't suck at life like Maroney does.

But can't blame the Jets for that, they beat who is on the schedule. Jets got lucky to get in, but they just played the team on the schedule. Next week they play a good team for the first time in a while. Maybe they play to the competition, or maybe they lose, but they still have a chance, which is more then I can say for all but 9 teams. And according to Rex Ryan, they are the favorites....

This is true. Their D is very good, as is their running game. The problems come with the inconsistencies in the passing game, mostly drops, and that they can kill themselves with penalties.

Sorry X, man. I feel for you. The Pats just weren't clicking today for some reason. With an offensive line, and a D-line that doesn't get pushed back 5 yards every single fucking play, the Pats will be back to what they were a few years ago.

Hopefully GB/Arizona will be good because we need a good game this playoff weekend.
The defense definately needs some attention this offseason. I do like a group of guys for the core though. Warren, Wilfork, Merrieweather, Butler, Banta-Cain to name a few. Build around these guys and get a power back. Should've drafter Don Brown with that first round pick...good mix of power and speed.
Yeah defense needs to be the focus, just like it was during the Super Bowl years.
Speaking of the draft, how's the rundown of picks we've got? I've already forgotten what pick we got for Seymour. Do we have more than one first round pick? Second round perhaps?

Well hey, here's to hoping that Oakland has a horrendous 2010 season (that sucks since Oakland has always been my number two team) so we can get a serious impact player in 2011. I love Brady and Moss to death, but by 2011 we're gonna need some young fire power. Perhaps a back worth a damn. Been a long time since we had one of those.
