NFL Wild Card Week LD

I doubt Flynn would leave GB just to go to ATL to play back-up to Ryan.

Oh he wouldn't play backup, if they're giving him the money. He'll replace Ryan, of course this all a fantasy in my head right now b/c I know management will never replace good old Matty Ice.

Flynn's played, what, two games? Lighting up the Lions defense doesn't prove he's any better than Ryan.

He also nearly beat NE last year, I think he's a good QB, however in both those games he's had one of the best offenses in the league surrounding him

CBS announcers referring to Tebow "First time in his decorated career he's ever had 3 consecutive losses..."

Tim Tebow, Decorated career?:lmao:

If Tebow ever becomes a more accurate passer, the Broncos would be a very dangerous team to play. That 2nd Down play is an example of what could be for them.

Looking ahead, I'm a big fan of RG III (even though most fans over here wouldn't like it giving what happened to Vick). If not him, I say give the Green Bay backup QB the money in the offseason. He looks like he's ready to start.

So you want to replace a very good qb with one who is unproven? Matt Ryan may not be elite but he is still a good qb and this loss was hardly all on him. The O line was absolutely dominated in the trenches and the defense gave up some big plays. This was really the first bad playoff loss I'd say Ryan has had. His first was as a rookie against the eventual NFC Champion Cardinals and his second was against the eventual SB winning Packers last year. It's way too early to just label him a guy who can't win when it counts, especially considering how awful the team as a whole played today.

Everyone is really overrating the Mendenhall injury. Redman is just as good, if not better than him.

The defense until the 4th Quarter was holding their end. Abraham was getting consistent pressure. The only reason Nicks got the long TD was b/c Eli as a QB is expected step up in the pocket from the pressure and made a play. Matt Ryan all day didn't do that. He threw very poor passes and looked like he was scared to be in the game. The O line only gave up one sack. I said I'll give him one more year (hopefully with a new OC), but eventually you have to win. They only got 2 points (which wasn't even thanks to the offense). The loss isn't all on him but he's a BIG part of it. You can't deny that.

Ryan may not be great, but they're are a lot of shit QBs in the league. Ryan is at least above average. You can't just give up on that.

The O line was flat out dominated. The number of sacks isn't as important as the fact that they got absolutely no push in terms of the running game and also on those two 4th and shorts. They were flat out beat in the trenches. The Falcons are most successful when they can run the ball and they couldn't do that because they lost the battle in the trenches. Even on defense they ultimately lost the battle. They got pressure because they were blitzing a lot but the Giants had one of their best rushing games of the season. It's just not time to label Matt Ryan.
