NFL Wild Card Week LD

That's fine, I still want them to advance as far as they can with no shortcuts. Last time I checked, they were 13-3 and the number one seed. There's no one in the AFC that concerns me. The NFC, now that might be another story.

Plus, I wouldn't mind seeing them defeat the Steelers next week, just so I can rub LSN's nose in it a little :)

A run on 3rd and 9? C'mon Eli. Weatherfords been their best player.

And habs, let's not forget the Pats have beaten exactly 0 teams with a winning record. Not that it can't change, but they benefited from one hell of an easy schedule.

I don't mind them going for it. But I do mind them just trying to push the line forward 2 plays in a row. The 3rd down should've been a sweep to Rodgers since he's quicker and could've possibly been quick enough to get to the sticks.

When Jacobs runs like he actually gives a shit, he's still a beast

When he stays low and is motivated I don't know if there's a defender in the league who can take him down one on one without him getting yards after contact. That's why there's no excuse for the Giants not picking up third or fourth and shorts.

Exactly. The Giants are a scary team for any NFC opponent. Good(great?) QB. Servicable WRs, even an emerging star in Cruz. Can power run. And a D-line that will beat the shit out of your quarterback

It seems like every year when the playoffs start Atlanta becomes a completely different team, as in one that just can not get a win if their lives depended on it.

What horrible clock management by the Falcons on that last drive. What the fuck were Matt Ryan and Mike Smith thinking not using their timeouts? Jesus...

I think that's part of the problem, when the playoffs start they overlook the little shit like when to call a fucking TO, & it ultimately leads to them ending their season early in the playoffs every year.

How Manning continues to avoid pressure amazes me. He's Peyton Manning's brother for god sakes. He should fall down any time the pass rush fails because its in his genetics.

If the Falcons can't get another 4th and short they don't deserve to win...

They don't deserve to win.

If NY holds on that Packers/Giants rematch is gonna be stellar. Played the Pack the best of anyone this year, other than the Chiefs of course, which was a fluke win if anything

If you're going to go for it on 4th and short at least have your pro bowl running back in the game. They made it obvious that was going to be a qb sneak.

And now the game is over. Damn I wish the Lions would have won in week 17. I really think they would have beaten the Giants.

I agree. Falcons don't deserve this win. Smith is showing too much Faith in his Offensive Line. If it didn't work once, what makes him think it was gonna work a second time?

Points are HARD to come by, especially in a ROAD Playoff game. Smith pretty much denied 6 points and now he's down by 15. Get rid of this guy....
