I think Seattle is gonna be a legit team in the 2011 season. This year I see them being up and down finishing around 6-7 wins. But in 2011 I see them winning that division. Niners should win this year in my mind.

OK, then Bryan Thomas will play down in the 3-4. The Front 7 will be Ellis, Jenkins, Taylor, Pace, Scott, Harris, Thomas.

No, to play the 5 technique (3-4 end), you need bulk and the ability to take on blockers. The idea behind the defense is for 3 linemen to take on like 5 blockers so the 4 linebackers can make plays. Thomas is like 250 pounds. He can't play down and neither can Taylor. We got Taylor so we have depth. You can never have too many linebackers in the 3-4. However, we do need a little depth on the defensive line because as much as Devito played well last year, he shouldn't start. He might though, which means he better eat up blockers for our improved linebacking core.

Excellent pick for the Eagles in Riles Cooper. Kid is lengthy, has good hands, and decent speed. Plus he has the determination to succeed. He should do well in the Illadelph.

Agree (did we not expect this!). One thing no one is talking about with Cooper is that he is a fabulous blocker for a receiver. That should help Philly immediately as none of their receivers block well. Riley is an effort player and one blessed with considerable talent. He definitely has the potential to succeed. By the way, he has more than "decent" speed. His game speed is right up there with almost anyone.

Great athlete and jacked out of his mind, and funny to boot. Yeah, I remember some draft expert, I forget who, saying that he shouldn't even be drafted because he was an ex-basketball player.

A few guys I'm watching for here in the next 2 rounds are Lefevour, Blount, Stafon Johnson, Tony Pike, and Darryl Clark (I'm a PSU guy). I'm sure there are others, but can't think of them off top of the old noggin.
