NFL Draft 2010

AJ Edds, now there is a baller. Good player for the Hawkeyes and will prob move inside in the 3-4.

Agreed, AJ Edds is just a straight up football player. Solid pick, which of course pisses me off because he now plays in the AFC east.

Another good ballplayer here with Geno Atkins. Had the Bengals snatching him up in the 3rd, but they waited and grabbed him here. Gives them some needed depth at DT.

He split time with Chris Brown. The first game Brown got sidelined with an injury LenDale rushed for 100 yards, and finished the season with 1,110 yards. You're right, he's not productive.

OK, Joe Namath was productive in the past too, you want him? Nobody in the NFL gives a shit about what you did 5 years ago. He hasn't been productive since then.

Eh, he's ok. Take it from a fan of Gawgia's rival, Jeff Owens is the best DL from the puppy football team this year.

That was the year before CJ arrived. Which, as I previously stated, is the reason White hasn't been given enough oppotunities playing along with CJ.
Your Joe Namath analogy makes you sound ridiculous, by the way.

15 TD and 770 plus yards are pretty good numbers backing up Chris Johnson. Last year he had a disappointing year, but the two years before that were decent years.

No doubt, not gonna argue that. I'm a big fan of Owens.

Philly drafts themselves a future backup for Korn on the Kolb in Kafka. Good athlete and he'll get to be the 3rd guy this year and I expect he takes the 2 spot next year with Vick most likely leaving in FA.

The Namath analogy was a good way to really overstate my point, which was what I was trying to do. I don't think it made me sound ridiculous. But aren't you a Pats fan? You're gonna say that anyway.

Saints got themselves a needed position and a local kid. Al Woods is a big boy and will plug some holes in the future. I could see this pick really turn out for Nawlins.

It could. Woods was an underachiever, but he goes to a solid team so that might motivate him.

As I speak, Carolina took a guy I really like in Eric Norwood from USCeast who just makes plays at linebacker.

Here is a kid that I'm a big fan of. Eric Norwood ain't the fastest guy, but he has good size at 6'1 and he is a local kid who can make tackles and play the 3 LB spots if called upon. Gives the Panthers a good backup at the OLB and a good 3rd MLB behind Beason and Connor.

Surprised to see a TE being picked here by Philly. They have Celek, who broke out last year and they have a nice developmental guy in Cornelius Ingram, who I'm a big fan of. Ingram could be the odd man out with his injury problems, but maybe the Birds go with 3 TE on the roster for Kolb.

Love this pick by Big D. Owusu-Ansah is a guy who seem to have some rising stock and many thought he'd be a 2nd round pick. I had him slotted as a possible late 2nd but more likely a 3rd. Good value here and this could mean a move to S with Dallas having some young CB in Scnadrick and Jenkins along with TNew as the vet. He gives them good depth as a Dime CB or a backup S who could possibly take over the starting job down the road.

Love this pick by Dallas. This small school guy is someone I thought would go at least a round earlier. Big kid for a CB who definitely would have gone higher if not for lesser competition. Don't be surprised if he outplays a lot of the CBs taken before him.

I think we got, what, seven picks left today? We still need some improvements on the O-Line and hopefully snag a running back. Blount perhaps?

umm, this ABC News guy just congratulated a guy for going to the LIONS. How many people get congratulated for going to Detroit?

I think he is likely to make a move to S and fight for a starting job. Plus he will get some time in the return game.

I'm anxiously waiting someone to take John Connor from Kentucky so all the analysts can do their terminator impressions.

Here is a guy I'd love to get. Stafon Johnson has some courage and he is just a guy I'd love to have on my football team. I hope this kid finds a team and is drafted.

There is a guy I'd love to have on the Vikes. Can give Laffy Taffy (Tahi) a run for the FB spot on the roster. How about that name for the Rams, "The Who" Michael Hoomanawanui.

I have good timing. My Slingbox just got disconnected, so it's time to get out of the house for a while. Have fun guy, I may be back later (Jets only have a 7th left).
