It's now or never WWE, just push one of your young guns. And push him properly. If Mark Henry, Kane or Finlay win this match, then the WWE have seriously made a huge mistake and have fucked up big time. Those 3 should only be in the match because they have nothing else to do and because their role is to take a few bumps to make the younger talent look good. The build up to the match has been horrible. There is no other way to describe it. The only remotely interesting thing to happen was the MVP Lounge Segment on ECW, and even that wasn't very entertaining.
How many times have these 8 guys faced each other in tag team competition? I swear, they've had at least 4 tag team matches against each other. They had an 8 man battle royal this week on Raw. It kind of ruins the hype for the match, as we've already seen these guys face each other 100 times within the past few weeks. It's a horrible way to build up the Money in the Bank Ladder match. The one match that I'm usually always excited for at Wrestlemania, just doesn't stand out on this years card. The participants just aren't great compared to the previous years.
It will be a 20 minute spot fest and will be one of the top 3 matches on the night. The 3 veterans won't and shouldn't win as previously mentioned. Kofi Kingston doesn't have much of a chance of winning as he's still relatively new to the company and this is actually his first time competing at a Wrestlemania. He just doesn't deserve to become a World Champion at this early stage of his career. I want CM Punk to win actually, but I don't think he will. He won it last year, was booked horribly by the WWE during his World Title reign, and was soon pushed down the card again, thus proving the match wasn't made for him to win it. Jeff Hardy was meant to win it last year.
For me, the 3 favourites to win are Shelton Benjamin, Christian and MVP. Benjamin just dropped the United States Title, so it could be a hint that he's in line for a main event push via Money in the Bank Briefcase. I personally don't think he's worthy to become a main eventer yet. He just hasn't shown a real lot to me. Christian has a terrific chance at winning. He's been booked very weak lately, is that a hint possibly? Mr Kennedy was booked weakly before he won the match in 2007. Even though he's not young, he could still be a new main eventer that isn't boring and old. I could see him winning it actually.
But my favourite to win the match, and my prediction to win is MVP. The guy has proved to be a great asset for the WWE. His face turn is slowly working, the fans are getting behind him and he's actually a great all round performer. Both in the ring and on the mic. We need new main eventers WWE. Since Mr Kennedy is always injured, I think the weight is going to be put on this man's shoulders for the rest of the year when he wins a World Heavyweight Championship:
